Hey all, its our 2nd week after casing drop. Facing some issues with Night temp, sometimes it could fall to +12C, thinking about how to improve it. Also concerned about slow growth because of that. Using just 1/3 of Plagron recommended dose. Modified a bit my tank, made some technical window. Also set up automatic irrigation, because wool started to dry up during the day Upd Sunday 10.12.2023, Decided to put Babys finally to Seramis. Washing ceramics is some kind of hell: -First, I decided to sift all the dust through a sieve, stood in a half-bent position with bags of Seramis for 30m (my back didnt like it), but there was a lot of dust. -then I decided to check the Ph and rinse thoroughly. Although the package says 5.5-5.7 Ph, after the first flush with a balanced solution at 5.5 Ph, there was 6.5 in the drainage. - I was concerned by the very muddy brick colour water, then got tired of mixing 5.5 in a bucket for flushing and decided to rinse it with tap water from shower and then balance it back to 5.5 Ph . As a result, I poured from the hose for another 30 minutes until the water became more or less transparent. -I also tested FloraFlex discs, they drip great and, although round, fit perfectly into my square grow bags. -Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Ph meter broke down, even the readings of the calibration buffer were changing from 4-6 Ph within one minute. In the end, I spent another 30min and half a bottle of buffer on this too. It’s good that i had yellow Chinese Ph meter, which even after 3 years of rest in the box showed accurate buffer readings. -Finally, the Ph of the drainage was 5.5-5.7 and it was transparent, so I began to move it into the growbox. I sprinkled it as much as I could, it was impossible to dig deeper. The plants do not yet reach the matrix disk, so for now they will grow with the usual felt. -The cap of the tank is very thin and cannot withstand the weight of 2 grow bags, I’ll have to come up with something else, maybe I’ll put some kind of drainage grid. Watering will be from a tank with a mixed solution of 5.8 Ph and 1.1 EC.

FLIP DAY 1: it is here finally. I had hoped to her them a lot bigger before the flip but other plants are forcing the issue so I am going with them. C Banana is smallest of them both but her thick stems give an idea of how she wants to bud up for flowering. She is very thick and has a lot of growth spread out well. Each head has a few smaller nodes below already so should start the stacked fat colas early on hopefully. Monster zkittelz is a lot wider by comparison and certainly very productive too. bending her out and getting her to stay put has been an endeavor but also given me faith in this hybrid. She will be a productive girl I think. Nice work Zamnesia. let the fun begin.

Day 78 Hey growmies, The girls received 2 liters of water with fertilizer and Cal-Mag today. Before that, I defoliated them for the last time – I hope it wasn’t too much, but I wanted to try a more radical approach to hopefully get an even better end result. Unfortunately, some of the Pink Gelato's leaves are showing clear signs of heat stress, but so far she’s still growing well. I hope the terpenes are okay. Day 79 The girls are doing well so far. Unfortunately, the tips of the Pink Gelato are a bit burned, and it's supposed to get even hotter in the next few days. I hope she survives the heat. The other two ladies don’t seem to mind it. The smell and the buds are getting bigger and bigger. The carbon filter is managing to neutralize the strong smell. Now we're heading into the final days of flowering

La floración sigue su curso esta semana y nos va regalando colorido y aroma para nuestros sentidos. Aunque me he encontrado un pequeño contratiempo, algunas hojitas están siendo mordisqueadas por pequeñas orugas. Si bien es cierto que sólo he encontrado algunos ejemplares en su hermana de cultivo S.A.D. CBD, sí que se pueden apreciar hojas mordisqueadas en estas dos cepas Red Pure Auto y su compañera OG Kush - Dianfem... 😒 Los pistilos van inundando toda la planta y siguen aumentando su tamaño. Las flores continúan oscureciendo, las hojas y sus tallos ya muestran un claro color rojizo/púrpura. 🌿 El tallo tiene un tamaño y consistencia considerable, lo que le está permitiendo resistir algunas rachas de viento sin excesivo problemas y sin necesidad de soportes o guías (por el momento). Se perciben bastante mejor los aromas de las floración. En cuanto a las altura, una mide 40cm y la otra 48cm. Seguimos aumentamos la cantidad de agua, progresivamente, según van pidiendo/necesitando las plantas. Sigo intentando no utilizar ningún tipo de "ayuda extra", salvo la tierra enriquecida de BioBizz All-Mix donde están plantadas. Seguimos con el agua mineral, luz solar, mucha paciencia y mucho amor!🤞😍 Aunque para controlar la aparición de pequeñas orugas he añadido: 20g de tierra de diatomea (Diatical de TRABE), directamente sobre el sustrato (1-2 veces/mes y se puede aplicar en cualquier momento del cultivo). 50ml de Super Kukulus (fitofortificante ecológico)/1 litro de agua para riego foliar, tanto en el anverso como en el reverso de las hojas (2-3 veces/sem y se puede aplicar en cualquier momento del cultivo has 2 días antes de la cosecha). Además, añadiré unas pequeñas tiras (Yellow Sticky Traps) para mayor tranquilidad, veremos los resultados en las próximas semanas! 💪😅

Flowering Week 6 – Fading Leaves, Persistent Flies The sixth week of flowering brought a mix of progress and persistent problems. The whitefly issue unfortunately hasn’t gone away. I replaced both yellow sticky traps at the end of the week, and within minutes, two new whiteflies were already spotted on the fresh left trap. The old one had four additional flies on the back. This pest pressure remains a concern, but I’ve decided to hold off on further neem oil sprays for now, given how far along we are in flowering. I’ll keep monitoring closely. Nutrient-wise, I stayed cautious this week due to ongoing signs of overfeeding. Leaf tips are still showing yellowing and some burn, especially on the lower leaves. Many leaves have pronounced yellow spots and curled tips — a clear sign of excess nutrients earlier on. To reduce stress, I watered with plain pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0). Total watering volume was approximately 29 liters This week I also did a second round of lollipopping, focusing on removing all small popcorn buds and lower growth under the net that wouldn’t develop well. Despite the nutrient stress and the ongoing whitefly presence, the plants are still developing well. Buds are getting chunkier, trichome production is visibly increasing, and the overall structure is solid. Still, I’ll be keeping a close eye on both leaf health and pest activity in the coming days. ⸻ TL;DR – Week 6: • New whiteflies still showing up – 7 total seen this week. This grow was fun.. I did 12/12 from seed and grew it in a 32oz McD cup.. Wow.. These are some super fat, super dank, and super citrusy colas! ETHOS FTW! Will be updating!!! 24 Hours Drying... Relative humidity in the dry area is between 68% - 72%.. I have been running the little computer fan off and on within the last 24 hours.. About 8 hours constant then off for another 8 hours then kinda blah not knowing whether I wanted it on or off the last 8 hours lol.. But hours 24-48 I'm going to leave it off and the hours 48-72 I havent got that far into the process in my head yet.. Lolol I'm sure I am WAAAY over thinking this.. But I dont want my first mold experience to be with ETHOS.. and I dont want my 3rd too dry too fast either with this strain.. The dankness is so incredible with this one.. My mind is blown by how epic ETHOS is.. If anybody knows of any other breeders that are as good as or better.. Please let me know in the comments!.. Anyways.. ZzZzZz... 72 hours of drying... Leaves are a bit crispy.. Buds are still moist a bit.. Small branches are still pretty bendy.. There was an 8 hour period that I did run the fan... The smell is a little hay like.. But this bud is so dank I'm sure the dank smell will come back.. Starting to notice that some strains smell like hay, but come back.. Some never smell like hay ever.. Idk.. Just something I've noticed.. It could just be my shitty environment tho.. Ugh.. So far so good with this one tho! Should be at least another 2 days.. But I'm shooting for a week at least.. Then into jars!!! Dried and beginning of cure... Took 5 days.. Not bad I suppose. Trimming only took about 45 minutes. It was almost difficult to WANT to trim alot of these sugar leaves because they were so incredibly covered in trichomes! But I can make a nice little bit of bubble hash with the trim so I trimmed her nice and close.. Gonna let her cure for a week or so then I'll get the weight.. I try to get them into the jars a little early.. Its easier to just burp them alot if they are too moist.. But impossible to get the up to 62% if they are too low.. I'd rather them be about 68% - 70% RH because thats technically just adding more "drying" time if you really think about it.. Then once they get to about 65% RH I slow the burping quite a bit.. Like only once or twice a week.. I've found this really helps terps and whatnot.. But anyhoo.. They have been in jars for about 24 hours.. They are already reading jar (2) 68% RH and jar (3) 64% RH.. Oh.. Let me explain the weird numbering. Lol.. My jars were already numbered.. Jar (1) is currently unavailable lol.. So jar (2) has all the nice, big, top shelf nugs and jar (3) has all the smaller, but still nice and dank as fuck nugs lol.. So excited for this! And normally I would have already started smoking what I've dried.. But since I cannot smoke, this will be perfect to actually give them plenty of time to cure nicely! So happy with ETHOS Genetics.. Fucking EPIC!!! Lol... Beginning of cure.. I tried a nug lol.. So smooth.. So fucking tasty too.. You can literally taste the citrus.. I love this strain! I can't wait to see some other ETHOS strains and see what they are about... Week one of curing.. Ive been burping daily.. Sometimes twice daily. I went ahead and put both jars into one.. Fuck it lol.. But 37 grams dried.. After 1 week of burping jars it is now reading 62% - 63%.. So now Ill stop burping daily.. Im gonna try to just go weekly.. If I can resist getting wiffs of it.. Lol.. It smells so fucking amazing

Flowering looks awesome on the ChemDog! Lots of bud sites and they're growing at a respectable rate. ATF's are running 3 plants in 3 diff stages- one's a couple weeks into flower, one's just starting,and one's still the holdout. Meanwhile, I've got flowering on the Night Nurse and one of the Viper Cookies. The rest are close but I can't say for sure they've transitioned. Weather's getting into a hot and humid phase, gotta watch that ChemDog. Think it's got a decent structure for ventilation but I've read horror stories on how the Dog loves mold. Further training of the branches has been fruitful, I'm seeing a lot more topside bud sites than usual. I'm working on irrigation-- I set up a 30 gal container and it works for drip, but without a pipe system it's still one at a time, although I have to admit it's worth it to save my back. Plus, I have to have a supply ready for use in case my buddy needs to fill in for me and water the ladies. Been checking the cameras regularly ( I have them all throughout the property, game cameras with IR flash), and to date haven't seen anything that would constitute a threat. Just some curious raccoons and one really ugly opossum. Even the skunks don't bother them this year, which is nice but a little strange considering they dig in them every year. It's really just the animals I'm watching for, people aren't as much of a concern. Mostly because I don't know any. Aside from that, I sleep with my head feet away from my babies, so somebody would have to have big brass ones to even try. Yes, I know, a little overprotective. Fingers crossed it'll be one hell of a harvest (by my standards). 8/11 Update: Been lucky still with the weather, but it's turning really humid. Fed the girls this morning, a mix of 1C molasses and 1/2C epsom salt in 20 gallons. Just a little supplement to the tiger bloom they've been feasting on. Speaking of the Tiger Bloom, I can't help but think I'd do just as well mixing my own nutrient solution, since the cost really adds up quick. For his year, however, it'll be fine. My watering gizmo is working well, just leaks a tiny bit and that's fine for the remainder of the year. Now that I have an idea of what works for me I can spend the off-season setting up something right. Had to thin out the Lamb's a bit, it wasn't getting anywhere near enough air flow. Also took a few on the ChemDog as I'm expecting mold/rot conditions for a while and she's prone. Shouldn't have much problem, wind blows almost constantly here, but you can never be too careful. Training is taking well, overall they look pretty good. Next year-- bigger grow bags, better soil, and much pickier seed choices. I think I may even abandon the idea of topping them in the future-- it just slows them down and you can get the same end results with training. Granted, my ladies are kinda sparse and ugly, but that's the learning curve. Next time around I think I have a pretty good idea of what to do and when to do it, based on what worked and didn't work this year. Another big thing is nutrient timing-- I def jumped the gun on flower power for a few of them and it just stunted them wicked-- shoulda continued veg food a couple weeks into flower even for the early bloomer, she'd be a monster.
