Hey growers. This week I decided to water with a heavier ppm as the plants didn’t seem too happy. They were showing some yellowing on the lower leaf tips. Guess I was right bc they exploded up to about 12” +-. Then I decided to top and LST the main stem. Today I just adjusted the ties, removed 1-2 leaves from each plant depending if there was any in the mud or not. Yesterday I watered with 525 ppm, but unfortunately the water was a bit on the cold side and they’re having trouble soaking it up. I have since created a rez in my grow room just to hold RO water at approx 70 degrees. So that problem should be rectified. I think I’m right on the cusp of preflower as I’ve seen one or 2 pistils. Regardless they’re doing their thing and I’m trying to do as little as possible to keep them vegging as long as possible and end up beastly!!! Happy Growing 🌱

Start of week 8 (day 50). Started the week off with a little recharge&water. I had to rig up some branch supports to compensate for compounding nugs. I'm pretty sure a pack of papers is a standard measurement? I've been struggling to get out of bed from knee pain (awaiting my 3rd surgery). And really not sleeping at all. 8/29 Knowing I was going to have to yo to the hospital er again this morning with my wife I got up early and watered. We are supposed to get an inch of rain tomorrow but the bags were totally light. If I was going to be around I might've held off watering. Instead I watered everything one gallon and figured the rain will make up for the other 10 percent hopfully that will do it. 8/30 Rained overnight. Plants were soaked. Flowers are swelling. I defoliated a shit ton of yellow leaves the other day. I still don't think I have anything fungal but I'm keeping an eye u e out and am considering doing an application of plant doctor. We are suppised to get an inch of rain tonight and tomorrow I guess. My biddy said i shouod cover my plants because next week is going to be "great growing weather" but with the rain and then the sun it could be a recipe for disaster since I have some large flowers. I got my father's leaf blower running but it was leaking gas. Brought it to the repair shop and a buddy let me borrow his for thus storm. I and hit the plants with it this morning. It is super strong though. I need to be careful not to blow it right out of the bag!!! Or break branches. Of course after u left it started raining lightly. A nice rain that plants like but it's stopped. I'm wondering if I should go over and blast them again to keep them dry but I know it's going to rain off and on and it'd going to rain tonight. I'll check the weather and decide from there. So far things are going good. Still have some yellowing leaves and a few normal pests but that is to be expected. UPDATE: Stopped raining so I went over and shook off the plants then put the leaf blower to them. I made sure to get the interiors before I went and had shook things again by hand. Storage us low bur i took a video. Cant upload toll tomorrow. Buds are growing at an insane rate but im losing some fan leaves that just yellow and die. Im sure its senescence but its still wortisome. We are supposed to have a real good week of growing weather coming so I hope that doesn't change. I'll update tomorrow. That leafblower works awesome though. 8/31 Went over to an extremely sunny windy morning. I didn't even need to shake plants or use the leaf blower since I did it after it Rained last night. I'm worried the wind night dry my bags out today so I'll be sure to keep an eye on them. I defoliated a shit ton of leaves but apparently it's just senescence. I need to check the last time I fed. Trich development is going good. The smell was incredible this morning! Each strain has its own unique smell to it. We are supposed to have a real good week for growing so I'm looking forward to it. May do a preventative plant doctor app but I think it will be alright. I'll keep this updated. UPDATE: Went over around one and plants were bone dry. The wind was RIDICULOUS! I added a few individual stakes and tied a couple loose branches. I got my tarp out and considered covering the cagecto protect from the wind. However I didn't have time to sanitize if and they had already been through it all night and day alwuth no breakages. Plants are strong and supported well. At least I hope. Plus the tarp would block the rest of the direct sun the plants are getting right now. The wind looked like it dud its worst and the trellis and supports held. I did add extra supports higher up the plant to prevent breakages. Found a moth larvae (yellow) and squished him. Also found some aphids but a few lady bugs and three lady bugs larvae so I think I'll be OK. I am really excited for this year. Flowers are really exploding! FORGOT TO PUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. WATERED EVERYTHING TWO GALLONS EXCEPT THE 10. WHICH GOT ONE. 9/1 Forgot my phone on the daY I really needed it. It rained last night. The wind was the strongest i've seen in years. I would've tarped the cage but i couldn't find any of the bungee cords or zip ties. Probably good I didn't. No breaks. One plant had dark brown splotches ALL over the leaves! I picked them all off and took pictures and will consult my commercial buddy. I researched and asked a question on here. If it's septoria or something that could ruin my gorgeous garden I'd rather just junk the plant. It's big but it's the furthest behind flowering and I would not be heart broken if I had to get rid of that for the others. This week is supposed to be the best week we've had all summer so I'm expecting major growth. I'll update after conferring with other growers and making a decision. Looking online it seems like it could just be lack of nutes with the co dictionary we've been having. It IS time to feed and I haven't been feeding much. We'll see what he says. ALSO FOUND LADY BUGS AND BEETLES AND THEIR LARVAE. IVE SEEN TGE VERY LOWER SECONDARY BRANCHES GET STRIPPED ON A COUPLE PLANTS BUT THATS WHY I LEFT THEM THERE. IF THEIR ARE EARWIGS THEY CAN HAVECTHE SHIT THAT I WAS GOING TO LOLLIPOP ANYWAY BECAUSE THATS WHAT THEY USUALLY GO FOR. THEY ARE DEFINATELY STRAIB DEPENDANT TOO. THEY LOVE ANYTHING BLUEBERRY BUT DONT TOUCH THE REST. MAYBE THERE IS JUST A COUPLE IN "THAT BAG". ILL HAVE TO GO AT NIGHT AND CHECK. IM EXCITED. I'VE DONE IT BEFORE. Went back over at six and WOW! After this nice sunny day buds have swollen. Plants seemed to love the nutes. I think the nutes in my soil are fairly depleted so I just needed to adjust my feeding schedule. I didn't notice anymore calcium deficiency looking spots and I had defoliated a lot of leaves. Super excited moving forward. Pistols are changing color on one 10th p phenome and retracting into buds. This is is the fun time. As long as I can avoid the rot. 9/2 Says it didn't rain last night but my plants are dripping wet. If course the leafblower kept dying so I had to shake everything by hand. Hope that's good enough. Gonna be real sunny. Bags still had some heft to them. I'll check them later. Found a few leaves with what looks like the calcium deficiency on the sane plant and I just removed them. I really don't think it's anything to worry about. I'll update later. UPDATE: Went back around 10 and everything looked good and was dry. Brought the leaf blower to be fixed. Should have it by the end of the day. Found and killed another pillar and some ants. Took a picture of a lady bug/beetle. This sunshine is making my buds explode!! I was thinking about checking again tonight but I think I can wait and water tomorrow. Bags are still fairly heavy. I did take another couple leaves off the plant that lopks like it might have a deficiency or something. The stalks are bigger than the bottom of a baseball bat. A couple almost like the fat end. Some 9f the best plants I've grown. I also took three short videos of a plant of each strain. Maybe if it's short it will upload quicker. Happy growing! UPDATE: I was back and forth today. I did some pruning and defoliation and then I noticed that my canary was light as hell. I waited until night and went back and had a couple starting to droop so i watered everything 2 gallons except the 10 and tub got 1. Everytime I see them it seems like they are bigger 9/3 Used the leaf blower this morning to get the dew off the buds. I shook them by hand before that. I'm noticing like a little army of lady bug larvae so any aphids I have are not going to be a problem. I have adults as well but is the babies that eat 10x what the adults do. I'm hoping they'll wipe put any bud worms. The weather is great this week all sunny. Making the buds explode in size and increasing terp production. This is the strongest smelling cannabis I've grown. Each strain. Has its own unique "funk" to it. Purple punch is really sweet and floral smelling. 10th planet is more gassy. I need to get some yellow sticky traps. I saw a couple fungus gnats on my canary. A late blooming blueberrycheese. It's the one that dries out the fastest but is more sativa leaning and drinks TONS of water. I have two that are that phenome. Losing yellow leaves but exploding with flowers. Noticed a couple more leaves with that calcium deficiency looking leaf. I just defoliated it. I'm really happy where I'm at right now. 9/4 Plants were covered in water this morning and the leaf blower wouldn't start. I shook everything off by hand. Each strain hasits own STRONG unique scent. One tenth planet phenome smells like bubble gum. I think I've got like two weeks and some of the flowers on ONE plant should be done. I'm planning to take the top half and then letting the bottom mature longer of its not whete I want it to be. The weather has been gorgeous. Sunny today. I'll need to water tonight I'm sure. UPDATE: WENT OVER AT 3PM AND PLANTS WERE DRY. WATERED EVERYTHING 2 GALLONS BIT THE 10 AND THE TUB. THEY GOT ONE. FLOWER DEVELOPMENT IS VISIBLE FROM MORNING TO NIGHT. I HAVE A TENTH PLANET THAT I BELIEVE WILL BE READY FOR HARVEST (AT LEAST THE TOPS) WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS. PISTOLS ARE RETRACTING AND TURNING ORANGE ON THIS PHENOME AND RED ON THE OTHERS. I AM LOVING HOW THIS STRAIN LOOKS GROWING. I HAVE REAL HIGH HOPES FOR IT. I FAILED TOO MANY TIMES UPLOADING THE VIDEO AND PICTURES I TOOK SO ILL DO THAT TOMORROW. Day 22: Started on LST today. For the first time ever I removed 1or 2 of the big fan leaves before bending the plant over. These leaves would have become trapped under the plant so i would be removing them later anyway so I thought it would be easier to do so beforehand. I also removed the first pair of nodes after the cotyledon. To reduce the risk slowing down or stunting growth I done this bit of defoliation under a very dim light, half way through the 6 hour lights out night schedule when all the plants hormones would have been returned to the roots.. Day23: Continued with more LST pinning down branches. Day 24: Small bit more LST toady and also moved plant from the veg space with CFL’s to the main grow space in under the LED lights. There’s a good few pistils starting to show. Day 25: Watered with light dose of nutrients (1m G). Took around 3 litres. Day 27: Removed the biggest low down fan leaf. Day 28: Removed one more big fan leaf but in the process accidentally removed a branch also. Mr.Nelson was pretty pissed. But you know what they say “What doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger”. Han suggested I don’t use that phrase with Mr.Nelson.

Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, since I almost killed everything in there 😂 Fat Banana is a very nice fruity-kush strain ,with a genetic background tracing back to OG Kush x Chiquita Banana. It is a heritage with a lot of power behind it, this can be seen in the potency of Fat Banana’s bud, which can reach up to 25%+ THC in just 9 weeks! When grown with an expert hand (NOT MINE😅). The potential here is great! I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant. This is one of the strain that did notice more my mistake, can be clearly seen on the final product. Infact, a good part of the flowers, went for bubble hash, I kept a bit to try it out because the smell its amazing. I topped her and then, because of an accidents I mainlined her, first to try the Mainlining training and 2nd as it was the only one I had, I wanted to grow her. Probably If I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have had a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Gonna grow this strain again 80% I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! Really stacking now! Beautiful sea of colas going on between these 3. Buds are really starting to structre. This variety has a little bit of a longer flowering time. Usually 11 weeks in my experiences. So the buds are definitely on point for the 4 weeks of bloom. Starting the 5th week off so far with elevated trichome production. Definitely gunna be alot frostier come the end of this 5th week. I reduced the nitrogen dose again. I also stopped giving them vigorous. Its a pure bloom mix now as these ladies are booming with flowers. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

High GD community, Week 7, Theres been a lot of rain last week, heavy winds. A lot of dust blew into the greenhouse. Theres also an attack of snails. Bcs the natural barrier of straw was blown away. Those sneeky bastards!!!🔪🔪🐌 First flowers appear on the zuchinis, theyve been growing a lot. Big fat leafs! The eggplants recovered 100% and showing new growth on top of the plant. Melons keep having a hard time, so i bought a other 1, same strain, only a F1 version. 🤞 Spanish peppers have their first flowers. 2 newbies are red pointed sweet paprika. And cucumber not triving yet. 1 died, so i bought 2 new ones, just to be sure. Of all the little pots my son made, nothing sprouted yet, except for some weeds. He was a bit dissapointed all week nothing appeared, reallife lessons in patience and failure. This week ive started siefing my compost pile. While i was turning over some parts of the compost, i noticed a lot of bummblebees swerving around. Than i found this hairy ball that was buzzing. If i knew they had their home installed, i would have been less brutal. Its a hard job turning over more tgan 1 qubic meter of plantmaterials and soil all mixed. So ive restored the place a bit, covered the space so the rain coulnt get onto the nest. As you can see, those bees are working their white ass off to get thinks back in place. Just a few hours after(14h) they are back in business. I also was astonished by how much wind those big fat bumblebees produce. Dust is swirling up when they hoover above the soil. Ive planted the iceberg lettuce togethere with an other 6 4 seasons lettuce, and covered the space for the intens rains and winds of last week. Thats it for this weeks adventure!! 🙏🌿🌿🌿🙏

Day 51 I finally see that they are gaining weight and starting to regain color. Thursday they will take the advanced nutrients hoping to be able to improve even more. Day 56 the girls are blocked but it is my fault .. Ive been flushing around 7 days now and the first leaves are starting to fade,in around 5-10 days it will be ready to chop. I've also harvested a couple branches early with cloudy/clear trichomes to hold me over and make room for new strains to start vegging in the tent. This is by far my best run of this strain and smelliest , im not entirely sure if my skills and equipment have gotten better or this phenotype is just especially good.

3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. Not much else at this stage, just I topped a little and I defoliated a little. 3/29/2023 Week 6- Day 5 of Veg (Day 56 overall) Topped a little, Defoliated a little Watched them grow!! 3/30/2023 Week 6- Day 6 of Veg (Day 57 Overall) Main action today was breaking down my old tent and setting up a new tent and getting my second RDWC system setup and ready for clones. Tag 9 seit Keimung. Der Keimling hat den Umzug in die DWC-Anlage gut überstanden und scheint sich wohlzufühlen. Die Beleuchtung liegt bei 250 µmol/m²/s, die Nährstoffzufuhr ist minimal, der pH-Wert stabil bei 5,7. Luftfeuchtigkeit liegt bei 60-65%, die Temperatur bei 27°C. Alles in allem ein positiver Start!

Everything goes more purple during this 5th week!! Devil cream is developing bud quickly and she is definitely the most rapid plant I’ve ever grow till now. Since I put her outside she was attacked by different kinds of pest, but she is like a rock and seems don’t have problems with them, however I removed 2 or 3 damaged leaves. I’m using neem oil on the soil to avoid bread flies and I washed the leaves with marseille soap, seems working great! Purple is spreading more and more and she is super lovely to see ❤️ It is funny to see differences between same strain plants grown in the same environment, this one is tall and is developing dark purple buds, second one and third one have light purple mixed with green buds with beautiful pink and purple pistils while the last one is totally green and very short Compared to its sisters!! I’m falling in love with these amazing colors and we are just at the start 💪🔥

This week hopefully i will get some good growth rate so I can perform topping and lst in week 3, my temp is quite high today reaching 34 degrees it just shows the resilience of these little plants. Humidity is at a steady 40% which I don't mind as then flowering plants need that. Day 18 on barneys watermelon zkittles and I changed the light and installed the ac infinityn 6 inch just need to put the filter on but need brackets its a beast lol. All mounted and tested all is good. Tomorrow I will be feeding molasses and phed water and topping the barneys watermelon zkittles. Day 19, good growth nodes are getting longer now, im not sure.if to top and lst or let it run and grow and minor lst and defoliation. Any input would be much appreciated.
