Had this gorgeous girl on the flush the past week as she will be getting pulled in a few days , she’s fading beautifully and coming out with some amazing colours. I couldn’t be happier how this green crack had turned out the buds are dense and ridiculously heavy so much so that she’s unable to support herself anymore, I had to rig up some wire to keep the buds from fully folding over , she’s spread herself right out to fill the 4x4 and will be my best yielder ever once she’s out . Thanks to the grow gods for not letting me pull this one as a seedling when she was struggling will no doubt grow this one again .

7/9 I armed up for my battle with earwigs. I bought and applied diatomaceous earth and added sluggo plus pellets to the medium and around the bags and cage. Then I covered the stems on petroleum jelly. I raked my hand in the same bag as yesterday and found a bunch of earwigs. This time I was prepared. I killed them with a 50/50 solution of 70% rubbing alcohol. I found a few more that I killed as well and cleaned as best I couod. Weed Wacker wouldn't work. This was after I watered. The blueberry was droopy af. It stood right back up after I watered though. It doesn't look to bad. I defoliated anything too bad. If I see ANYMORE signs of septoria I'm isolating that plant (probably should anyway) and getting a systemic to deal with septoria. I got the wrong organicide I guess. I got bee safe instead of plant doctor. Regalia is what I'd like to get but it's like $90. Anyone have any good advice dealing with pm and or septoria? I know I should defoliate a little more. 7/10 Plants looked healthy and showed no negative effects from the previous application. I have some defoliation to do and I need to go over at night to check out the earwig population. Found a moth larvae and killed it. With all these other problems and medical issues it's hard to get everything done. I believe I watered today. THIS IS WHY YOU AT LEAST WROTE THAT SHIT DOWN EVEN IF YOU FINISH. 7/11 I had a few teeth pulled this morning after a horrible appointment with my doctor. I believe I watered before I reapplied some sluggo plus and diatomaceous earth. I inspected around my structure directly after the extractions while still numb. I found and killed literally 100's of earwigs! At first I was using an alcohol spray. They are in the structure itself!!!! Where the fence attaches to the wood and a bunch of other places. I used what I had filled it again, stomped them left and right then I found a can or roach ant killer. I CAREFULLY sprayed bottom parts of the structure and they would run out and get sprayed. Damn that felt good. Especially since I've noticed some slight interior damage on a couple plants that seem consistent with earwigs. Small leaves turning yellow after munched. New growth being attacked. Ragged holes in leaves. I wanted to go back tonight but I'm hurting. Noticed some dieing leaves on my blueberry. I'm wondering if it's septoria. I'll update tomorrow. 7/12 WATERED THEN FED 3 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. Large thunderstorm and hail possible tonight Still in pain but I defoliated all the little dead new growth that the earwigs are eating and anything blocking nodes or that looked infected. Earwigs eat the new shoots that grow the buds. People think they are harmless but they are far from it. Just wait till you have an infestation and they chew off all your budsites lol. You'll have a ten foot plant with MAYBE a six inch cola (if the left ya any) that will probably be diseased. I'd rather deal with mites. I can't believe someone said bugs don't spread plant diseases. Well....they do. I've learned more about earwigs the past few years than I would've ever cared to know. I've seen aphids ONCE this year and they were dead from the organicide spray. I did find a few earwigs on the medium dying so something must be working. I'd spray it with alcohol and it would just spasm but not try to get away. I imagine it's either the DE or the Sluggo plus. After the earwigs eat the shoots the small leaves turn yellow and die. Looking at the plants the look awesome. When you get closer though I can show you branches with no budsites and some other things. I think I'm dealing with it right though. This year pretty much everything is straight up Indica (80/20 or so). Real bushy plants. I'm thinking about whether or not to spend money on regalia or just get plant doctor. 7/13 I had a botanist that teaches marijuana horticulture look at my videos and some leaf samples. No septoria so far! I need to cut some foliage by the forest edge and dispose of it and clean the grow area and be more sanitary. A new pair of gloves each plant or wash my hands after I defoliate. I'm going to spray the shit out of the surrounding area and remove the back tarp like many have suggested. It's a calculated risk but I think it's worth it. I think p jelly is working but some earwigs are dropping on them or flying short distance from plants because I've seen damage. I was going to get the plant doctor but I don't need it if I don't have the septoria. I need to go dig at each corner of my cage and get as many earwigs as I can and dispose of them. I'll kill the ones that rise with alcohol/water or raid. 7/14 I took the back tarp down and put a barrier of DE around the cage and each bag/pot. Added a touch more around the base. I'm finding earwigs dying and I'm really thinking the population is shrinking. I shoveled around the structure and didn't find any. I need my new weed Wacker to show up so I can clean shit up. The other one broke. I've been much more sanitary and am using different gloves each plant before I just started washing my hands in between plants. I'm planning on going back and AT LEAST try using the push weed Wacker to clean stuff up and spray the shit out the treeline and around the cage. It rained hard last night and it's supposed to rain again. If I notice to much more damage I'll do an application of spinosid. 7/15 Rained and stoked hard all night. I weedwacked the treeline back this morning to cut down on vegetation that's infected or could be. I weedwacked around the cage and hunted earwigs. I defoliated what needed it and I can see damage from the earwigs. If you watch the video I made for a friend you can see. I also I sprayed a gallon of baking soda/dawn/veg oil on the plants by the treeline and all around the cage. Used a different bag each plant and washed my hands before defoliating. Things seem to be going good. Plants are stretching. They are in what I like to call the 'asparagus' stage where they REALLY stretch and drop leaves. I'll keep this updated.

This week has started well. The girls have recovered from transplant shock very well. The roots are already coming out of the bottom of my 3 gal smart pots. I increased my grow lights brightness from 75% to 100% now that the plants are growing well. I need to keep my girls short in my small grow space so increased light levels help me with that along with training techniques.My grow light is always at the top of my grow box so dimming is my only means of control :) Gave weekly nutrient solution and watered until runoff.Installed Blumat irrigation system with 5 gal reservoir.I will run ph'ed water(6.0) through Blumats and nutrients by hand watering so to limit clogs in my irrigation system. The Blumats are new too me and I hope to get them dialed in for this run 😬

Leaves turned yellow so we took her away from direct sunlight. She has not been watered for 3 days and the yellow spots seem to be going away. We are still not sure about keeping her on the shadow or taking her back to direct sunlight.

Placed seeds in water for the night and the started sprouting in the glass before morning, very strong seeds! Put them directly in rock wool cubes in RDWC buckets and the we’re up and out the next day. Got the 1000w MH HID turned down to 600w and moving on a light rail about 2ft above seedlings.

She seems to be a slow grower. I started a northern lights that's 12 days behind her, and it is growing about 2 weeks faster than this cheese. Wish I knew the breeder.

I made it to week 12 flower. Visual changes are, trichomes of top colas range from 15-30 amber, there's some purpling of the leaves from the cooler temps. After waiting longer then I wanted this week, I found a day to harvest comfortably(after record breaking heat)...I've harvested both plants already, and they are drying while suspended from hangers. Next week, and after the drying period I will have dry weight and more pics of the harvest. Temperature is 70-65°, and humidity is 45-50 during drying, and I'm going for a 6 day dry.

they did okay rough weather this week. i made a little greenhouse for them good humidity if the sun in on it. only gave them once ph water. both strains grow equally atm only this time i dont know about the feeding , someone recomend auto feeding? i have biobizz products and guano , keep growing ✌️

Frosty Frostbanger isn't growing any taller. I started measuring the cola today for height and width. It is 10 inches tall and I am not really sure how one determines its width. I took a picture and will ask a question to someone who is more experienced than me. I plan on entering this cola in a contest, however, I don't really know what I am going up against. :)😬 I have continued to feed my plant on a regular basis. It has been hot enough here in this area that I water/feed on a daily basis. We have a few more weeks to go until its harvest time. I am curious to see how big the buds are going to get. I can definitely see the dense, tight, resin-soaked buds that glitter like fresh snow in a sparkling winter wonderland as per its description of Fast Buds. . Buds also appear to be very compact. Wow, isn't this 1 dollar seed performing :P The force is strong in this one. If I had to complain, the buds have a lot of leaves, but hey, were not... What a joy to grow this strain, she is easy to grow and creates big buds, I hope she tastes like a Kush and we will be happy campers with this one. The lights were a bit too close to her, she really didn't enjoy that light and heat, so we raised them, and after that growth went exponential in the buds again. And this for two or three more weeks, depending on the trichomes which I like for a large part amber so add another week for this. I'm guessing 1st week of January that she can be harvested, we shall see! Week 19, and it's like my plants have hit a leafy plateau – the growth seems to have slowed down, or maybe I've just gotten used to their leafy antics. But hey, who needs fast growth when you've got an overwhelmingly beautiful smell wafting out of your tent? When I open the tent, it's like stepping into a fragrant paradise. The smell is sweet, strong, and just downright heavenly. Is this how heaven smells? If so, sign me up for eternity in a leafy paradise! But it's not all sweet smells and smooth sailing. I've noticed a slight discoloration of some leaves, and I suspect it might be due to a pH issue. Time to put on my plant detective hat and make some adjustments. I'm switching to feeding only pH water for the rest of the grow, hoping to nip this issue in the bud (pun intended). So here's to Week 19 – a week of heavenly smells, pH detective work, and the ongoing adventure of growing these amazing plants. Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Start of week 4, the blueberries had major bud growth during week 3 and they filled in nicely. There are a few signs of deficiency in the larger fan leaves, but overall I'm very happy with how the blueberries are growing. The Super Lemon Haze is showing signs of deficiencies, she's also hungrier than the blueberries, she got an extra 2 liters of nutes at 1/4 mute strength, the last two weeks. She may require full strength nutes in the extra feeding, to help with the deficiencies. Still, bud site development is coming along nicely on the SLH.
