Day 1- 7 Eingesät mit etwas Wasser, danach ab ins Zelt. Dies ist mein 3. Grow, aber mein erster Indoor. Nach 3 Tagen sind die Planzen aus der Erde gestochen. Wenige Tage später fingen die kleinen ein wenig an zu Spargeln, weshalb ich etwas Erde nachgegeben und die Lichtstärke intensiviert habe. Mittlerweile sehen die Pflanzen recht gut aus. Die Hulkberry entwickelt derzeit einen leichten Gelbton in den ersten Blättern und deren Adern. Ich versuche ende der Woche ein wenig Biogrow Dünger zu reichen.

Día 32. Esta semana corté los esquejes. El dia 30 de crecimiento. Saqué 8 y los puse a enraizar en lana de roca, dentro de media botella de 6lt tapada con otra mitad. Mantengo la solución de la semana anterior. Hasta ahora la planta se ve muy bien. Ya dentro de una semana espero tener raíces y pasarlas al indoor de arriba con la madre. La configuración del espacio va a ser un desafío dado que la madre tiene las ramas muy abiertas. A primera idea, supongo que haré que los costados sean ocupados por la madre y guiaré los 4 esquejes para que ocupen el centro del indoor. De todos modos seguro aplique tecnicas de guiado y/o cortes en los esquejes. Una vez arriba pienso darles una semana de crecimiento y ver, en base al tamaño que tengan, si ya los paso a floración. Quiero aprovechar el primer cultivo para tener una referencia de espacio y tamaño. El tiempo va pasando más rápido de lo que imaginé y ver los cambios tan rápidos ha ayudado. Debo admitir que soy un poco obsesivo y eso me hace más fanático de la hidroponia, ya que el cultivo es más limpio y mucho más rápido para crecer. Ahora tengo que esperar ver. La mayoría de los artefactos los tenía de otros indoors que he tenido. Ya prontl habrá actualizaciones sobre el avance. Pero seguramente para cuando estén enraizados los esquejes, esté en la 6ta semana de crecimiento y llegaré a las 7 sumando lo que haga crecer las plantas arriba. Ya anticipo que el próximo cultivo será con la Black Jack de Sweet Seeds, aunque me queda sólo una, y espero poderla germinar con éxito. Sino habrá que salir a comprar otra variedad y en Argentina no hay variedad. No quisera volver a caer en BSF. Saludos!

Hello GD Crew!!! I’m glad to finally be back with a new diary. A LOT has happened since my last diary. The large room I was using back then got infested with spider mites. For a while I thought I had them beat, but they came back with a vengeance. So I thoroughly cleaned my 2x4 tent and set it up in the opposite side of the house. However, that part of the house is also now my new man cave and was under construction until a few months ago (its still not completely done yet, but close enough). I have also switched back to LED lighting. I’m using a pair of Spider Farmer SF1000’s (100w) LED’s. I was using a 315w CMH fixture but felt I was getting better results with my old blurple ViparSpectra’s (both of which have died). Also, it was getting too hot in the tent with the CMH. To be completely honest the best weed I’ve ever grown was using a 1000w HPS, but that could possible melt a 2x4 tent and I’d be tripping circuit breakers all the time again. After a lot of research it looked like the Spider Farmer SF1000’s were the best bang for the buck in the LED market these days. They have the right components (Samsung LM301B diodes and MeanWell drivers) and have great specs. I was able to purchase them on Amazon Prime Day for $129/each (USD). For soil I’m using Coast of Main Stonington Blend Grower’s Mix. I had been previously trying to amend and reuse old soil or mix old soil 50/50 with new soil and in retrospect that was a mistake. The PH was totally unpredictable as were what nutrients were available or deficient. I felt like I was always trying to fix soil problems and one thing would lead to another. So, from now on its fresh soil in every pot. I’m using 3 gallon pots with self watering reservoirs at the bottom. In addition to the Coast of Main Stonington Blend I’m also using Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. I filled the 3 gallon pots with the Coast of Main Stonington Blend first, then dig out a hole in the middle about the size of a grapefruit and filled that hole with the Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. Then I planted the seeds about knuckle deep in the middle of the Seedling Mix. This seemed to work great, both pots had small seedlings appear in 5 days. This diary will focus primarily on FastBuds BlackBerry, but I am also growing a DinaFem Critical+ Auto at the same time. I’ve grown both of these strains a few times in the past with mixed results. But, I’m hoping this grow will be far greater than those in the past. My plan is to allow the Coast of Main Stonington Blend act as the ‘super soil’ it is supposed to be and not add any additional nutrients. I will however be adding RealGrowers Recharge on a regular basis (I love that stuff, it really makes a difference) and will probably also add some CalMag once in a while. But that’s all. Additionally, I do not plan on doing much training with these girls. I will LST bend them over at a 45 degree angle around the time they hit their flowering stretch, but that’s all. Bending at a 45 degree angle gives better exposure to lower branches and allows those lower branches to produce larger tops. Hoping for the best!!! Please feel free to comment and follow. Really thriving to be honest, really fattening up both along stems and in bulk, really impressed with this plant had it down for the weakest at very beginning but has proved to be a really good strong plant. Hello Diary. The second week of flowering is behind us. I did a little defoliation this week, I honestly didn’t dare remove more leaves and branches, I didn’t know how they would react to it. Maybe I needed more? The temperature is still high, sometimes rising to 29, 30 degrees, but mostly around 28. Humidity in the air is an average of about 55% but sometimes rises to 60%. The problem is frequent rains this summer which creates high humidity in the air and this affects the humidity in the box as well. The flowers are developing nicely, and they have started to smell as well, but let the pictures speak for themselves. The plants are big for my conditions, the 120 x 60 box size is perhaps too small for three plants (two Hulkberries and one Green Gelato), so the real jungle is in the box. It’s already a challenge to take them out every week for a photo shoot, but I try to be as careful with them as possible. The Hulkberry has reached a height of 113 cm which is on the verge of acceptability. If it continues another ten cm, I’ll be in trouble because the lights can’t lift more than this. 18/07/2020. - Day 30. Defoliation. I removed the leaves at the very bottom of the plant to make it easier for me to water them, after that I watered the plants but this time I didn’t put BioBizz, I just watered them with clean water. 21/07/2020. - Day 33. Watering. This time I gave them BioBizz, on schedule for the second week of flowering. I also added CalMag 1.5ml / L, preventively. While they don’t show they’re missing anything, I’ll keep adding CalMag. 23/07/2020. - Day 35. Photography and height measurement. 7 days exactly... 3 of the seeds made it.... all 3 look good.... just seed raising soil mixed with perlite, inside jiffy pots that break down in 2-6 weeks... just normal tap water atm, and i'll water them less now, let them dry out abit... Day 8 - pics/vid.... Had a look under the jiffy's, all 3 had 1-3 cm roots poking out, they went straight thru the jiffy like it was not even there..... (pic - Day 8 - Root straight thru all 3 pots.).... so, went into emergency repotting day... lol....... i don't want the roots restricted or damaged in any way, so, got what pots and soil i had, and put em in, (2 x 13.5 lt pot, and 1 x 7.7 lt). Day 9 - some pics, bought a new tent (wait delivery), just got em under afew 6400k led's atm .... they seem happy..... 👍 😎

Day 36. One girl is shooting the sky other still have that unhealthy look, made my mind - its genetics and i can't do anything. Girls got second feed, looks happy and hopefully will bring some nice flowers. Took some leaves down, spread a bit, but most of work will be done next week, if i will dare ;))) Last time used Root Juice, added Acti-Vera, increased Bloom and Heaven. Day 40. After last feed, girls got small rusty spots on 4-5 leaves total, cut out cal mag for couple weeks. Heavy training, its always tricky to decide what to do with Autos and i have almost no knowledge, but i have SPA Queen and Midget aka Margaret ;))) both different, but bushy, had to clear Midget really heavily and still loads future airbuds left, but maybe ... ;))) Girls drink 3 liters every day, highest rate ever, but i relate it to most powerfull exhaust ever. Some leaves on both plants got strange mutation, like leaf tries to branch out ... Never seen anything like this. But by height i presume it happend on first feed, late Root Juice aftermath ? 07/12 Ding Ding! Starting week 4 by watering 1.5L after 7 Days. The 1 Liter from week 3 really did a number on them. Theyre still growing fine! The Afghan Kush got stripped naked and bent over. The Blueberry is a tad behind, im just gonna let her ride a bit, see where we go from here. LST got adjusted for both of them. Light is also up to 20/4 with roughly same DLI Watered with 1,5L, 2 ml/L rootjuice, letting it fade out, probably giving one more time next watering then stopping. Activera and grow stayed the same at 2 ml/L, microbes again at 0.4g/l. Starterleaves removed from both plants. More pics to come the following days! 13/12 After the week: Didnt get around to edit, also due to the fact that my raspberry pi was acting up which took me a good 12 solid hours to fix (i say fix, what ended up happening was i wiped the SD card and set everything up again lol) Blueberry is growing nice and bushy, but i left her mostly alone. Afghan Kush is doing fine as well, though she skinny. Both are growing steadily but compared to my last run, they slow. Im still happy so far! Removed some inward facing stems on both plants. Also, both are confirmed to be female. Added timelapse, and see you all next week when we probably head into flower!

In week 3 I continued with the LST, but the plant showed more and more of its namesake genetics and grew into a kind of lettuce head. So towards the end of the week I started to remove a few leaves to improve aeration and light exposure. Additionally i slowly started incresing the power of the LED to about 75%.
