Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Lots of growth and flower development over the last week. The smell is starting to come through, but I've been congested, and can't really pinpoint any particular aromas yet. Gave each plant 1TBSP Bloom fertilizer and wet top of soil down w/recharge on Saturday and have been slowly removing lower bud sites throughout the week.

Mixed week it's growing a bit and I am giving it food now . I was told call mag is a must so I've grabbed some of that . Yesterday I took it out to water and it fell over, it got bent and I could see roots pulled up ,I pushed back the soil and straighten the trunk been reading up on it hopefully it'll be ok I kinda think it looks uneven now ? Fingers crossed . .

Cracking away now.. UVB up to 1.25hrs a day. Zero stress, just juicy, fat buds really starting to stack.. Unfortunately, while they are supposed to all be Purple genetics, it's only showing in 1 plant.. Anyone know if this is normal, or the result of clear bag seeds? Anyway, they're looking happy, healthy & dusted in sugar! Sweeeeet! Happy grows, everone!

Harvest was done on a lovely summer day. Since summer was approaching, half of the harvest was hung upside down with the classic 60/60 and rest is stored in a wine cooler for drying. There’s also an oscillating fan below for airflow!

It blooms quite quickly,Many trichomes are already appearing.beautiful color of the leaves It'll go pretty fast from now on.

Day 99: New Week We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

Started with a super low dose of massive bloom now that my flowering has started on these, it was recommended by the hydro guy and I wanted to use something as just the organics has not been thickening up the way all of my bottle grows did and I think it is due to a lack of PK. I also added in some myco spores on vermiculite that I got from the hydro store as well, figured it would be beneficial for the roots during flower and likely should have had it the entire grow. I have tied down my one plant in more places as a test to see if it will produce better than the other 2 which were only tied in one spot.

9/4/24 starting to look happier. also since shes had to reveg a bit, i got a peak into what she will look like in early flower. she will get dark and the fan leaves are covered in trichomes and that was only preflower. 9/9 topped the two

They r looking fantastic so far. I cant stop looking at the flowers and the deep green of the leaves. Just so perfect! Weed is such a cool plant to grow! The weather has started to get rainy and colder. So i dont have to water so often anymore. The hot period on which i jave to water every day is over haha. I m really happy, how good they turned out. The work has paid off so far! Beside from watering, not doing anything special at the moment... Now i m very excited as everyone who grows frisian dew i guess, if i will be lucky enough to get one of the purple phenos. 1 of 2 purple with the 50/50 chance would just be fair haha. We will see... The next weeks are gonna be crazy!

Some pistols are now turning orange, pinks/purples visible in some buds. 3 different looking phenos out of the 5 plug seedbank seeds - The one in the 1 gal fabric pot is starting to show a lot of fall colourings with red being the primary tone. - 2 are showing with very white pistels and whiter trichomes - some purples coming through on the new bud growth - 2 have yellower pistels and a greener overall look (Maybe showing more of the Zkittlez pheno) The bag seed (Knightsbridge Og X ?) looks way more mature into flower yet the buds are considerably smaller than the Dosidos Zkittlez plants. I've had one final defoliation to improve light to lower bud sites.

02.11.'24 After 5 days of drying, this little girl who was a little bigger than a meter gave 950 grams and a little bit of popcorn...this picking was 870 and a little bit of popcorn, and 4-5 weeks ago during a storm, one branch broke, which yielded about 100, but let's say 80 for sure, a total of 950 grams of beautiful, huge, potent buds

Week 3 of Flowering is here Very excited to start the next week And see the buds Sites expand 👀 Day 15 Critical For weeks I have bin watering when come home and turn lights on . But because I had issues with humidity . I started giving them water in morning when go to work and shut the light off. And i think that worked well . They are looking good and growing nice there some higher buds so it not a even feeld but this my first grow ever . So i am already happy how it is going 🤘🏻🤘🏻 Day 16 Critical FRUIT FLIES !!!! i saw that dam bastards last night so ordered me some fly repellent sticky what ever you call those from Amazon hope they catch them all . Plants are doing fine in my 👀 . I am not giving them water now but in the morning when the lights go out and i go to work . That's all folks Day 17 Critical Did nothing to them only gave them the required nutrients in the morning. Day 18 Cookies Gelato Left them alone today having some personal issues off my own . That makes difficult to work on the plants hopefully tomorrow will be better Day 19 Critical I measured plants today and there about 90 to 95 cm from soil to top. Slitlly getting worried again about hight they are. I hope the grow spurt is over and bud formation will be intensifying . I think if i didn't use any technieks that i would be sol right now . Hope for the best Day 20 Critical Did something stupid today i left the light on for 18 hours and was afraid i fryed them . But luckily nothing dramatic happened . Not hopefully i didn't do much stress on them . I gave all the plants 1L of water pH 6.5 . And start letting them dry out some . Day 21 Critical Last day of week 3 Flowering This week went fast had couple mistake of my own . But luckily my reliable @MarsHydro TS-1000 save me from a catastrophe . I absolutely love the quality that this lamp brings and i am Glad this model has a dimmer . With the baby's is going well nothing going on but goodness

Already, this is going to be the last week, next week im switching to 12/12 lets see what this marshydro TS1000 can do, i want to see if i get the same results as my LEC, if thats the case its a real winner as its half of electricity costs, and electricity starts to get expensive as every indoor grower knows 😁😝 The blue sunset goes good, she's looking quite recovered from last weeks topping

This time, the cold wind has arrived. Keep the temperature at 20 degrees at night and 28 degrees Celsius during the day, which is good when your plants start to flower.

COMMENTED BY MadeInGermany MadeInGermany 1 hour ago Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. There is nothing more to report this week and I wish you all a lot of fun with the update 😀.
