1st Grow Diary - Indoor 4x4 - LED - Coco

Light is at 60-70% intensity I will be repotting soon into a 60/40 coco perlite mixture mixed with 10ml per litre of ecothrive charge - my run off test of my feed solution before adding the plants gave a PH of 6.5 and a EC of 1 EOW UPDATE: It's been a slow week, these small fems have definitely struggled to gain size early on albeit they look healthy. Upping the EC and will be repotting once I have 4 clear sets of leaves on each.

First day of week 2 in veg and the girls haven't kicked off yet. Will be repotting up to 1 gal fabric pots in the next day or 2 I reckon. Edit 23rd August: I have been alternating between watering (.2 EC) and feeding (0.8ec) 100ml of solution per container every 2 days The solution in has been between 5.9 and 6.4 ph and the solution run off has been between 6.4-6.7 ph

It’s been a slow week, I let the humidity get too high and overwatered slightly. Recovering the girls now but one looks like it took it worse than the others. Hopefully it’s mainly due to the transplant shock to the 1 gallon fabric pots. Slowly increased ec up to 1, now I’ve moved to RO water I’m going to keep it steady at 0.8-1.0 ec over the next few feeds

It’s been a much better week seen some great growth, but had to get rid of the straggler. Outdoor Temps are up so I’ve dropped the light intensity from 75% to 50% to cope. Edit: 09/09/21 Girls almost all at 5 nodes and ranging between 5-7 inches in height Edit 10/09/21 I have topped the 4 biggest girls between their 4th/5th node Edit 12/09/21 Raised feeding from 1ec to 1.2. Plants almost ready to undergo repotting to final containers (18litre)

WC 16/09/21 Upped feed to 1.2 EC Looking to get into their final pots and start LST this week. 17/09 Into final pots 18/09 LST begins 21/09 Upping feed to 1.4-1.6 ec

23/09/21 Aiming to do one more topping session until then I am using plant bends and string to LST my plants. Plants showing signs of needing more feed

Plants have been thriving. Slowly been increasing feed and recently defoliated ready for the switch to flower and adding in the scrog net

I have flipped the girls to flower as I’m expecting some quick stretch. Scrog net is now filling out nicely and have a pretty level top. Had to top one node as it was noticeably higher than others. I’ve given a medium defoliation. Edit: removed the nodes that are struggling to reach the scrog net

Been some serious growth and bud formations in week one of flower, wasn’t expecting to see formation this quick

Noticing some differences between the phenos now. Finally got some other lights for my clones so they are out of the flowering tent all together. Keeping the feed stable and will start adding pk 13/14 in increments as the plants have now finished their flower stretch

The buds on these Dosidos/Zkittlez are littered, the smells are pungent, sweet and gassy. Still a way to go but they are looking dense and healthy

Some pistols are now turning orange, pinks/purples visible in some buds. 3 different looking phenos out of the 5 plug seedbank seeds - The one in the 1 gal fabric pot is starting to show a lot of fall colourings with red being the primary tone. - 2 are showing with very white pistels and whiter trichomes - some purples coming through on the new bud growth - 2 have yellower pistels and a greener overall look (Maybe showing more of the Zkittlez pheno) The bag seed (Knightsbridge Og X ?) looks way more mature into flower yet the buds are considerably smaller than the Dosidos Zkittlez plants. I've had one final defoliation to improve light to lower bud sites.

I have checked the plants and one plant is now showing about 10% amber trichomes on old growth. New growth clear. Starting to see some nice colour changes across the canopy. Have fed them a weaker feed to start the week but included a microbe tea.

Plants are starting to stink ☺️ Lower leaves on the smallest plant (red pheno) are now showing signs of dying off. One of the phenos has plenty of amber trichomes on the bud leaves but none of the actual bud trichomes are ambering yet. Checking the trichomes daily with a 60x jewellers loop Plants are now taking on less water

Almost ready for harvest, starting to flush the girls out. Love the array of colours and smells, got some gassy phenos aswell as sweet phenos. Counting down until I have 10% amber trichs (discounting sugar leaves) EDIT: Added more photos

So close to harvest, maybe 5 days max. Currently at 63 days from flip. Last photo is 68 days from flip

All plants are now dried over the space of 10 days at roughly 65f and 55% humidity in the dark. It’s been 2 weeks into the cure and the smells are popping and the sample buds taste great and get me lit af. Didn’t really expect 5 vastly different phenotypes from 5 seeds, is this the norm?
