Flowering Week 6 – Fading Leaves, Persistent Flies The sixth week of flowering brought a mix of progress and persistent problems. The whitefly issue unfortunately hasn’t gone away. I replaced both yellow sticky traps at the end of the week, and within minutes, two new whiteflies were already spotted on the fresh left trap. The old one had four additional flies on the back. This pest pressure remains a concern, but I’ve decided to hold off on further neem oil sprays for now, given how far along we are in flowering. I’ll keep monitoring closely. Nutrient-wise, I stayed cautious this week due to ongoing signs of overfeeding. Leaf tips are still showing yellowing and some burn, especially on the lower leaves. Many leaves have pronounced yellow spots and curled tips — a clear sign of excess nutrients earlier on. To reduce stress, I watered with plain pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0). Total watering volume was approximately 29 liters This week I also did a second round of lollipopping, focusing on removing all small popcorn buds and lower growth under the net that wouldn’t develop well. Despite the nutrient stress and the ongoing whitefly presence, the plants are still developing well. Buds are getting chunkier, trichome production is visibly increasing, and the overall structure is solid. Still, I’ll be keeping a close eye on both leaf health and pest activity in the coming days. ⸻ TL;DR – Week 6: • New whiteflies still showing up – 7 total seen this week. Both sticky traps replaced. • Additional lollipopping done: removed popcorn buds and shaded growth under SCROG. • Leaf symptoms (tip burn, spotting) persist – watered with plain pH water, once with half HESI dose. • Watered 3x this week: 9.5 L (pH only) • Light stayed at intensity level 7

It was the last week for the Black Jack and I was kind of sad to cut it down. I wanted to go the full 9 weeks of flower but she was telling me she was ready. I couldn't wait another week to get the Liberty Haze in its place either. It took an hour just to cut down/hang and remove most of the crispy and yellow leaves. Have a 3x3 set up for drying and have it dialed in and filled it with 5 hangers from the plant. Cut it into chunks as big as i could fit on the hangers. I weighed the buds wet this time just to get an idea of how much they loose during drying. She got light dose if Buddha bloom and some brix/molasses this week as she was starving.l'm still learning when to harvest but I like a more heady high so Its sometimes hard to tell when the trichomes are past my preference but I want to let a plant flower a week or two after its "supposed" to really have a gauge on it.l next time. But i think I hit it at a good time. Will update the harvest soon. I think this one will need the full 2 weeks drying even though I have my dry tent in the basement now instead if my garage with ac/heater It stays about 64 in the basement and i was having a hard time keeping it down to 60 anyway out my studio without the heater and ac constantly battling, and the ac freezing over. I forgot to take pictures of it on the racks and the setup but i will update

They been doing good this past week some I cut off some water leafs and they started booming the 3 cuts are good one seems like it rooted roots caught on to the cube already hoping they get better waiting for funds to get the fish shit start using that as soon as possible

Germination 07/09/2022 Hi to all the old and new growers out there. Spring has barely started but I'm so AMPED to start again. My first grow attempt was a disaster. I started to early for the season. I wasted some good seeds and those Blasted 🐌 🐌 snails messed up everything. Got up started again and took it as a learning curve. I had 1 seed left from the previous attempt and this had to be the golden ticket. The first important thing I learned was getting to the correct pH. Used a 1 liter jug not knowing that the pH down was very concentrated substance. Added 1ml of pH down to tap water with a base of 8.5+ pH and brought it down all the way to less than 4.5 pH. I probably tried like 5 times and realized that a single drop made a difference of about 2 pH. I got the feel of it and had to source a better water supply. I had the option of using tap water but didn't have the time to do a 24 hour airstone run ever time I wanted to water the plants. The local water supply shop was a better option. I got a consistent 6 pH and the price was decent. The Snail 🐌 Problem... I have a plan for those F**kers. We have 2 very nice hydroponic shops in my city. Orion F1 Liquid Nutrients grow. 31.5.25: Well, this week has been pretty dull 😅 I was hoping to have something to report on by now. I guess maybe next week 🤞 I've just been keeping the pot watered. I watered twice this week, with about 2l of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. Once; I used 1ml/2l of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids, the other watering I used .15Tsp Ecothrive Biosys. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. I am planning on either topping or FIMing both plants. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today the tap root on one of the seeds was about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 11 am I transferred it into a Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened ...calling the #2 a 'fail to germinate' and I'm not going to soak another... We'll let it ride with just one of this tester. 😉👍 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #1 FBT #2201! I'll keep her in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see her roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer her gently into her 4g Gronest fabric pot from FastBuds. 12/7- Yesterday I checked her, she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 4g Gronest pot. 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 7 2/16-22 Flower week 3 The Cheese gals are in full bloom, the buds are puffing out and stacking. I even see some lower buds connecting to the upper buds and many pistils are turning brown. Trichomes are minimal and using my phone, they appear milky. There is some smell when I open the tent. The F1 genetics are reflected in that these 2 plants are identical in plant structure. However, blue cheese 2 in soil is maturing more quickly than BC1 that is in coco soil blend. Both girls had leaf tips turning up and I thought tip curl was light burn so I took the cheese gals off the crates. I also moved the carrots to the other tent with the veggie seedlings because Love Potion is getting so big, Another observation BC 1 in coco is showing over feeding by new tips are yellow and most old ones are brown and curling up. BC2 does not show any nutrient issues even though they are given the exact same food. I surely don’t have time for special diets In addition, Love Potion is getting so big, I took the carrots out and put them in the other tent with the veggie seedlings. So how’s the weather you ask? So glad to share pics our Record setting major snowstorm. Coastal Virginia got the brunt of this storm. Virginia Beach had 13 inches and my area of Chesapeake had 12” We had 24 hours of steady snow. We took our kitties out when it first started to see how they would react. They loved it. Gorilla Jealousy F1 is doing her thing. She is shifting into a bulking stage. She did show a major ph drop yesterday to today. She is likely due for a solution change. I will try to redo her solution this next week when I get a chance. Her smell has not really started up strong yet. I feel that will change over the next few weeks. They were heavy when I took them out to hang dry. Not sure what I would yield at all, I will definitely get a dry weight.

This is a very interesting week! After mainlining, I transplanted the lady into a 3L AirPot, adding 3 spoons of Mykos by Xtreme Gardening, 45g of BioMagno Algae and 5g of BioMagno Neem Flour. I uploaded a time-lapse video that shows the process. Then I fed her with the nutes you see above this comment, in 1L of water (actually, 750ml would be better). I hope you liked this week content! Day 28 (May 7, 2019): 0.5L of tap water with Activator @ 0.5ml/L and Rizostimo @ 1ml/L.

As week 8 started, buds are gaining size. Plant is drinking lots of water. About. 3/4 a gallon a day to day 1/2. Added a second light to setup now. Hoping to help the flowering buds with extra light. Relocated my fan to help circulate air flow around more of the taper colas. Should have a around 3 week a left til harvest. Can’t wait to see how this first grow turns out and what to learn from it overall at the end.
