Week 8 (May 24th - 30th) This week the roots began getting larger. This was also the week I began to really use eggshells and coffee grounds. I saw more bugs come out of the dirt (sometimes just happens) and I noticed the wood I burn as well as grounds, the more I use the better and stronger. I also know that coffee grounds and eggshells contain certain nutrients that are necessary in plant health and growth / life. The roots were starting to come out of the bottom of the pot-hole. I started looking for larger containers.

Wow she's grown a massive 34cm this week!!!! Monster growth!

Still trucking along. I had my light turned up a bit high for the first week, I turned them down a few days ago and all the plants seemed to enjoy it. Nothing else to report really.

Today is the end of the fourth week for the plant. In a couple of days I will transplant it and top it off, the good weather is finally coming... The plants spent most of the day outside today, and at some moments there was a very strong wind, and I was not there, so now they are protesting a bit and probably angry that I left them..to apologize, I played them half an hour of quality reggae music, so I hope we'll be fine by tomorrow lol Stay high and keep growing my brothers ‘n’ sisters!!!

Week 5 : Colorado Cookies in Biotabs These have completely blown up, doubling in size, ripped up the metal hooks i had them in like it was nothing, they're liking the extra light, pushing out leaves and loads of flowering colas . i did take off one leaf that was throwing shade, but apart from that only LST every now and then to keep it under control and hopefully get a bigger yield. Mixed my beneficials with my micro, that's 14gs of powder for 900ppm , but i'm not worried because this is not "dangerous ppm" only some micro. They're starting to slurp it up : one extra watering a week that 3x 3 pints ! used some co2 enriched water only twice, i didnt dare put it in with the beneficials even though i know co2 as a soluble gas will not penetrate the cell walls of any of the organisms (that means it's safe!). I'll get some full frontal pics of the ladies next week, so get your lube out ! spraying twice with the micro and the kelp this week, not really following up on the co2 sprays because i eyeballed the first spray and now there's actually a bunch of residue all over the leaves, so gonna try and figure that out ! suggestions welcome ! 🚀

7/25 Did two videos this morning. One where I was only going to water the 3 gallons I had mixed up but it's going to be very hot this week. Didn't want to make the same mistake as last time so I watered everything AT LEAST A GALLON. I need to bump up the volume during these really hot, humid days abd it doesn't get worse then this. Things are getting dusty. Found an inch worm and some minor pest damage. Once it cools down ill spray something. Also noticing small nitrogen deficiency that takes a leaf and moves up the plant a little bit. I'm going to need to start nutes this week. I'll keep this updated. Went back over around one and everything was looking fantastic! Took a few pictures and defoliated a few leaves. UPDATE: I GOT A MESSAGE FROM DAD SAYING MY PLANTS LOOKED DROOPY. I HADNT MADE IT OVER FOR MY NIGHTLY INSPECTION BUT HAVING WATERED YESTERDAY I WAS THINKIBG OF SKIPPING IT. GOT THERE AND SAW THE FIRST 10TH PLANET DROOPY. ALL THE TENTH PLANETS LOOK RELATIVELY THE SAME BUT ONE OF THEM IS MY "CANARY IM A COAL MINE" AS IT DROOPS WAY BEFORE THE OTHERS. THE TWO BLUE CHEESES IN 20S THAT DRY OUT FASTER GOT TWO GALLONS AS DID MY 10TH PLANET CANARY AND MY BIG BLUE IN THE 50. ITS BEEN 90S AND SUNSHINE AND ITS ONLY GOING TO GET HOTTER. Soil is still damp this morning and bags are heavy as hell. They look super happy. Obviously my watering situation depends on the weather. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be the hottest days so I wanted to make sure the plants had sufficient water before this. I'll let them dry out totally before watering again. There's another four lined plant big somewhere that sat there and destroyed another leaf. I'm AT LEAST spraying with BT after this heat wave. Supposed to rain a little today with thunderstorms. I haven't got my supports up yet but if i need to I coukd throw my tarps up real quick. Don't think I'll need to though. These are some tough freaking plants and I am super proud of how they've turned out thus far. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER AND RE APPLIED BLEECH TO THE RAGS AND ON THE PERIMETER OF MY CAGE. Plants made it through unscathed despite the lack of a trellis. Today is supposed to be the hottest of these days. I think the hear wave ends today. I really need to get my supports up. I'm super lucky to not have had any breaks during the storm. I have a couple of videos I did but I didn't upload them earlier and now that I'm back in the woods I doubt they'll upload now. I'll give it a shot. If not I'll put them up tomorrow. OH! I found that four lined plant bug that had been fucking up my leaves and squished him. Well I hope it was him. If not I killed a sibling at least. UPDATE: JUST WOW. This morning all drooped over from the storm went over at 4 and its still 90 and they seem to have grown sic inches and jumped forward WAY more into flower. I am amazed. I'll upload a photo or two but I took a video I'll put up tomorrow. Super stoked. Oh and you can give me a red smile face for not using nutes every week @growdiaries but you point out the deficiency then I'll fix it. 7/29 Plants looking fantastic this morning. UPDATE: PLANNED ON NOT GOING TO THECGROW TOMOGHT SEEING THAT IT HAD RAINED SO HARD AMD THAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO GET RAIN TONIGHT. I GET THERE AT ABOUT FIVE AND MY CANARY AND A FEWCOTHERS WERE DROOPING! IT WAS IN THE 80S ALL DAY. I GAVE EACH PLANT A GALLON OF WATER. THE GROW BAGS ON THE TEO WORST PLANTS WERE SUBSTANTIALLY LIGHTER THAN THE REST. I HOPE IM NOT OVERWATERING. THE PLANTS SEEMED TO PICK BACK UP AFTER WATERING BUT ILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW TO UPLOAD MY PICTURES AND VIDEOS. I NEEDED TO ADD TEMPORARY SUPPORTS TO A COUPLE DIFFERENT PLANTS. IM CERTAINLY GLAD I GOT THE URGE TO GO OVER. WHAT A CHANGE IN A FEW HOURS 7/30 Plants are really growing fast and transitioning quick to flower. We got almost no rain so I'm glad I watered like I was supposed to even though the bags had some heft to them. I'm noticing more pest damage. I'm thinking a bt spray tonight might be beneficial. I'll look through what I've got on hand. I may just give them an application of spinosid but we'll see. I still need to move things and put my supports up. Medical problems have slowed me down. UPDATE: Went to check the plants around 3 and they looked great. Bags were still heavy and a little bit moist. I think with the added rain some of the plants may have been overwatered. I should have only watered tue bags that felt light. There is only one plant now that looks a little overwatered and even that is looking good. I found some more minor pest damage. Winds were fairly high. I wondered about my trellis netting but it hadn't been sanitized and my plants are very healthy so I decided to wait. I watched them dance like willows in the wind. I know it won't be like that with big ol colas on them but for right now it's working out just fine. Goal for next week is to move the front row back and move things around to better utilize space, possibly spray for pest and add supports for final flowering after I get the plants situated how I want them. If I do it right I may be able to lst some. Also took a 2 minute video but I cant upload until tomorrow. 7/31 I'm wondering about my watering habits. This morning I watered a couple blue cheese and purple punch plants with just a half gallon as they were light and looked drooping. I'm wonderingvif I'm overwatering. Some plants still seem heavy while others are light? I think the plants may have been overwatered due to the torrential rain and my taking less time hand watering. Hopefully I won't come home from this doctors appointment to wilted plants but I really doubt it. 10th planet requires far less water than the two other strains. Even specific phenos require more water and its difficult with the different size containers but im working with what ive got. I need more ph down and I've gotta get these plants supported. These are some massive plants. Store was closed. Dispensary was opened. Showed my buddy the video then it started raining. By the time I got there the plants looked horrible. Everything was droopy but a couple were really bad. A few weren't bad at all. Actually the one in the ten needed it. I think I just need to give more water at a time and document how I water each plant individually. I also need to take into consideration the weather. Hard to do when it's so unpredictable. I'll wait for them to dry out and then I plan to start low doses of big bloom and grow big but I need to wait for them to dry out first. Then next watering they'll get some nutes. It's sunny now so I may go check my plants. I may also put a fan out for a while on the bags. That might help them out.

I had two sprouts in the pot. I will focus on the middle one for the majority of the grow. It had slow growth in terms of height by the end of week two. However, the first set of 3 fingered leaves had come in.

Two watering and 1 feeding this week. They received their last dose of Flora Micro (3ml/ gal) and higher doses of Bloom (10ml/gal) I've also defoliated them for the last time ------------- CBD will be ready for harvest sooner, probably ~5 days. Thus, she'll receive only water this week Moby Dick still 10~14 days, so she'll receive more heavy nuts this week Gorilla Glue needs 7-10 days, so she'll also receive more heavy nuts. It'll be difficult to harvest them in different batches due to space constrains, so I'll probably chop them next week (in 6 days)

- WEEK 8 - ----- Day 50 ----- Woo hoo. End is in sight and the plants are still PACKING the pounds on. Big Bertha is 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. The hidden massive Gertha is 8 inches in circumference in the middle in just bud alone and isn't even the largest part of this 8 inch long nug... Fed 1150ppm 13L 6.4pH 5-15+ days left. 2-4 days till I start looking into trichome finish period. Forgot to take a regular full shot and shots of tropicanna glookies. oh well. Later tonight if I remember. I stopped bud candy cause I'm using a lot more molasses and its literally a sugar in itself so why put in bud candy which is just sugars... seems redundant. ----- Day 51 ----- Easy day of watching. Some nice bud shots today. The whole basement smells of weed candy. Back right Tropicanna is pineapple gummy bear, front right is just gummy bear. Wedding Cake is like sweet weed, you get the regular smell of pot but instead of skunky its sweet but that Tropicanna is just alllll candy no weed smell at all. I did the first 60x shot today. 5% cloudy 95% clear on the Tropicanna. Long ways to go. I'll be doing the Wedding Cake later tonight, got side tracked. ----- Day 52 ----- Fed 1200ppm 6.4ph 12 Liters Tropicanna Glookies is going full blown purple. Should be covered in dark purple coloration within the week. Wedding Cake is just fat. Super fat large nugs. Easy day. Forgot to take trichome pics of Wedding Cake will do that later today probably. Well, the largest bud is 1 foot in circumference now... rofl ----- Day 53 ----- Easy day. Fed some water, they're getting thirsty again. I'm going to do a 13L feeding , then next day 5L water. So that's what I did today. I'll be dropping the Kool Bloom Powder & CaliMagic by day 56 and only feed 1/2 strength molasses only. Will pick the buds off as they finish, not gonna do 1 big chop unless it manages to turn out that way. Colors are going wild. Will check Wedding Cake & Tropicanna trichomes before lights out will update pics then. ----- Day 54 ----- 1300ppm 13L 6.4ph fed Here's some pics. Wedding Cake is nowhere near ready by the trichomes. Barely any cloudy, no amber. ----- Day 55 ----- Tropicanna really turning purple now starting to infect the leaves at top of canopy. Can't wait for what Day 63 holds for all these ladies. Not going to check trichomes till probably day 58 Easy day, last fert feed with chemical nutrients tomorrow, after that its just molasses. ----- Day 56 ----- Didnt even bother with ppm/pH. Molasses. roughly 30-50ml in 13-15 Liters. Smoked a tester of the Tropicana Glookies (Sativa) God daaaamn. Shits fire. Extremely strong. Very Cerebral and its not even at its peak yet... I've chosen Tuesday as Harvest day for both Tropicana Glookies plants (they're clones of each other) A single Wedding Cake testing nug is drying right now, I'll judge when it gets harvested based on the high, and if not sufficiently near my level i'll give it 2 days before drying another nug and trying again. I want heavy ass couch-lock. 6 days for Tropicana. Probably 8 for Wedding Cake. Will send samples off to Canvas Labs for testing like I've done in the past and will be making both edibles and bubble hash and will post those here as they happen. Once thats done I will see if I can restart veg mode in this grow, and if so I will keep this going until the plants die (and just make side diaries for each individual plant variety grow). The buds on WW#1 are packing on weight, the heartiness of these plants amazes me, I feel it must be the great genetics from Dinafem and RQS because it’s certainly not my skills as a grower. I think I’m nute burning the buds a tiny tiny bit, I’m currently doing a 3:2:1 ratio of the florabloom series 2-3 times a day till run off. Going to slightly lower the amount of nutes and see where that leads me. The smell coming off the two strains is incrediblely distinct and delicious smelling, I find myself standing in front of the plants wafting the air towards me. My carbon filter seems to not be working very well, although I’m not really complaining as stealth isn’t an issue for me, I’d wear this as a cologne... lmao End of week comment: things are well. No major major issues. WW1 nugs are massive and sticky, extremely dense. Lower buds are super lose, probably due to the looming beer bottle nugs above them blocking light. No idea when to harvest though- if anyone has any advice I’d appreciate it. I literally cannot tell the difference between trichomes with my 40x loupe. They all seem clear to me. Maybe some cloudy ones.

☀️ // Day 28 🍁 This week the plant ended her stretch, so I was able to work on her. I removed the lowest growth of the plant and lots of fan leafs to maximize the air flow. I did not lollipop that aggressively because even the lower buds were pretty chunky already, at least in my eyes. And removing them would have felt unnecessary since they clearly get enough light to gain weight. I already love the bud structure of this plant. Her bracts have not started to swell by any means but the buds look voluminous for the age. And the frost level is really high, too. When it comes to the trichomes, one thing that sticks out is their consistency. They're not sandy but not sticky neighter. So yeah, maybe this plant is a washer. Not that I really care but some of you might do. The smell is strong, very sweet indeed. It smells like a different version of Z, if that makes sense. Like a limited edition pack of it. You recognize the Z terps but they're different. So it's fruity but not sour fruity and more sweet in a general way. Sounds stupid but I would say the smell is more sweet than fruity but more fruity than dessert-like. And no gas yet! I really hope that this strain evolves the dessert notes, even tho it smells really nice in its own way. She still has lots of time so I will keep observing. When it comes to the watering, she needs it pretty consistently every 3 days. Which makes about 7 L per week, like the last weeks. Other than that, nothing really to share.
