The smell coming from their Beaty is so dam sweet she smells just like a bowl of fresh cut pineapple ... Couldn't say that I've had a strain as fruity before very close but she takes the lead now.. the plant has put up with a lot of my mistake and with a better setup and more space she could be a real great producer ...can't wait to harvest this lady ..

I backed my light up a little and let my nutes sit for longer this time. She’s improving. Think I’ll up my ph on the next watering. Trichs are starting to come in I added a dish of water to up humidity. Don’t know if it’s helping. One of the pics has a blemish. It’s from me, not spotting from deficiency. She’s looking yellow and skinny. Stems got really dark

🌸 BlueBerry – Week 6 Flower Report Grower’s Journal | Zamnesia BlueBerry ⸻ 🌱 The Girls This Week Both BlueBerry ladies are now true queens, stretching big, stacking huge colas, and getting so heavy that yo-yos are holding them up. Without support, branches would fall under their own weight, which is a good sign of strong flower density but also a reminder of the importance of plant training. The frost continues to thicken, and the trichomes look spectacular up close, sparkling in photos and videos like tiny glass forests. ⸻ ⚠️ Trouble in Paradise – Bud Rot But with big flowers also come risks. This week, Bud Rot (Botrytis cinerea) showed up on BlueBerry #2. • Conditions: High humidity (65%+, sometimes higher) combined with dense flowers created the perfect environment for rot. • Detection: Early spotting saved the plant. We caught it in time before it spread too far, but it still left its mark. • Action Taken: • Carefully removed every infected area. • Isolated affected material to prevent spores spreading. • Improved airflow around the canopy by moving plants and adjusting fans. 👉 For anyone learning, here’s a great educational read by Zamnesia: Bud Rot Grower’s Guide. https://www.zamnesia.com/grow-weed/563-bud-rot-cannabis-grower-guide ⸻ 🌿 Bud Rot – What It Is & How to Prevent It Bud Rot is caused by the fungus Botrytis cinerea. It thrives in humid, poorly ventilated conditions, especially inside large dense colas where moisture can hide. How to prevent: • Keep humidity lower during flower (ideally 40–50%). • Maintain constant airflow across and through the canopy. • Defoliate strategically to open airflow inside dense plants. • Avoid watering late in the cycle to reduce night-time moisture. What to do if it appears: • Act quickly. Remove all affected buds immediately. • Sterilize scissors/tools between cuts to avoid spreading spores. • Keep monitoring daily — once it appears, it can spread fast. Bud Rot is every grower’s nightmare, but also one of the most important lessons in environmental balance. ⸻ 💡 Lessons Learned (and Moving Forward) This 8x8 setup is teaching us a lot. For the next run, I’ll be redesigning the airflow system entirely to prevent these issues. For now, the plants are still thriving, and catching the rot early means we can continue with this grow. Big flowers are a blessing, but they require serious air control. We’re already working on solutions, including an AC and new placement strategies, which I’ll cover in more detail on YouTube. ⸻ 📸 The Beauty Side Even with this challenge, the girls are stunning: • Massive colas held up by yo-yos. • Sparkling trichome close-ups showing the magic of Week 6. • Heavy branches bending under the weight of their own production. The resilience of BlueBerry genetics shows through, they continue to push strong, healthy growth despite the setback. ⸻ 🔮 Looking Ahead – Week 7 What to expect: • Further bulking and resin production. • Stronger terpene expression, the BlueBerry scent growing richer. • More vigilance against humidity and bud rot, especially as flowers keep swelling. What not to expect: • Major structural changes. From here, it’s all about ripening and finishing strong. ⸻ 💬 Final Thoughts Week 6 has been both a celebration and a reminder: heavy, beautiful flowers need perfect conditions to stay healthy. Bud rot may have appeared, but it was caught, managed, and turned into a learning moment for this run and for future ones. The BlueBerry ladies are still shining, still heavy, still legends in the making. Been a lil busy. Haven't been on here or in the garden as much as i need to. The girls are growing all natural. I have literally taken no leaves off their entire lives. Some of the old fan leaves die during light drybacks. Inuse deybacks for stacking nutes and some light drought stress which can increase oil production. They just have a small cage at two levels. I have cut nutrients to most of them, going for quality smoke as its already more than I can consume lol. Two look like they are still bulking. Some are getting close. Everyone is still getting bokashi/ffj for the terps and ethylene found in the ripe fruits. It helps with senescence.. I turned the lights and temps down to help crop steer ‘em. We are getting close! Thanks for readin

63 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 Ninth week of growing my Apple Fritter Automatic 🍎🍏🍎 Nutrients: As I mentioned last time, I switched to mostly organic nutrients from Plagron and Biobizz💓 - but now I flush the plant and use this product for that: Terra Aquatica FlashClean - T.A. FlashClean is a specially designed cleaning system that removes (dissolves) salt residues from fertilizers, but also allows new nutrients to bind between the plants and the system. These properties help plants make the most of the nutrients contained in fertilizers, especially in the crucial period before harvest 💦🌊💦 ---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- BioBizz Bio pH - is an organic pH regulator. An aqueous solution of citric acid, which is naturally found in citrus fruits 🍋🍋 - I didn't use it this time because the pH of the dressing was 6.5+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Terra Aquatica pH Test Kit - Very reliable, easy to use and inexpensive. The pH test kit conveniently replaces expensive pH meters. It includes a wide range from 4.0 to 8.5. 🌈 Overall: Apple Fritter Automatic 🍎🍏🍎 - The girl is covered in sugar buds 🌺🌼🏵️💮 Her main bud is thick, thick and still getting fat. The buds are slightly pinkish in color, but it's distorted because she's completely covered in white sticky snow ❄️🌨️❄️ When I take her out of the tent, she quickly perfumes the whole apartment with her fruity and sweet notes 💚🍎 Since one place in the tent has become free, because one of her sisters has already ripened, the apple tree now has enough space to sunbathe on her long branches. Training: The girl doesn't need training at all anymore. There wasn't even a need to cut off any leaves. Yesterday the girl got water with a flush to clean herself of salts. She already looks very tasty 💚🌞🌞 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000 The plants respond effectively and the light is technically very well managed - I try to have 18 cm between the light and the plants, so I move it up regularly 💡💡💡 Thanks for the likes :) See you soon 😍😍

Plant is 8 weeks from seed today, stretching has now stopped and she is starting to fill out now. It looks like the feed will sit at 2ml A +B to a litre as she hasn't shown signs of wanting anything more although pk 13/14 will be added in roughly 3 weeks time. She's been drinking a lot more last few days

I feel like they could be more light green in color but they are growing really well. Alaskan purple seems to be growing a little lower than the blueberry but I'll bet it's just the genetics. Overall haven't been feeding them water til the soil is dry on top with the ffof, and they seem to respond well to it with no discoloration or burns. Haven't used any nutes and don't plan to til the week of flowering or a week after depending on how the transplant goes. Will add more pics throughout the week, if anyone notices anything I'm missing feel free to spill the beans.

The Ztrawberriez girls have absolutely exploded this week, super happy with their early progress.💚 All three seedlings are off to a flying start, stretching up with strength and vigor. No issues so far, they’ve handled the environment like champs and are developing beautifully. Looking lush, green, and full of promise – can’t wait to see how they take off in the next phase! 🌱✨

D63 - The start of another week. I completely forgot to take any pics in time so grabbed a quick one right after the lights were out. I'll post better pics tomorrow. D64 - I watered each girl with 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.5, and snapped some better pics. ;) D68 - All is well in the tent. I gave each girl 2.5-liters of compost tea @ pH 6.5. I also did some additional defoliation. D69 - The end of the final week of veg. The girls are healthy and vibrant. #1 is starting to get bigger than #2, even though she is one week younger. She is also more thirsty so I gave her around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.5 while #2 didn't need any.
