~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/23- Week three from seed and the second week of veg for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's doing surprisingly well considering the crappy weather, and being eaten like a salad by slugs and a rabbit! 5/25- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around her seems to have lessened the attacks on her leaves. I've also been spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap that I'm sure has helped as well. I watered the Papaya Sherbet today via garden hose and began to train her branches a bit as well. 5/27- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet continues to do exceptionally well with great color and vigor, putting out new growth it seems daily. 5/29- There's three weeks on the books for this little lady and I'm looking forward to see what she'll look like in the coming weeks! I will have to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days. I haven't added any dry amendments to her since I initially amended her soil and she's a hungry girl... Hello everyone! well friends !, so she took her final forms! from today it switches to flowering mode 12/12 .. in the diary I will add a week of flowering when it starts blooming and not when the light mode has changed .. I don’t like it when they do it .. it gets confused .. 2 weeks is needed for flowering to begin active after switching to 12 hour mode .. and those growers who add weeks of flowering when switching to 12 hour mode, damn you!)))

Pics from day 56. We have some cloudy trichomes, a few still haven’t gone cloudy but a few are amber as well. We may be harvesting by week 9 which is exciting. I have been giving her around a half gallon of water every two or three days manually watering the soil with a watering can. I occasionally give her a spurt of water with the drippers which we used to use exclusively to water, but around week 4 or 5 of flower I realized she needed more water than my drippers could handle. I think the new humidifier helped pack on bud size. Checked under the pot and noticed that there are roots shooting out the bottom. Super proud to take it to this point. This is a truly beautiful and amazing smelling strain with many other amazing qualities. Can’t wait to grow more

Hi everyone :-) This week a lot of nice things happened in the flower tent :-) Everyone looks super nice, and is growing stronger and more beautiful week by week 😍👌. The blue cheese smells like a dream ;-) As usual from this variety 👍. The kosher tangie is also very, very tasty 👏🏻. Both got Pk 13/14 this week for the last time :-) Everyone else is developing very well 👍, That will be the last diary with several strains together :-) In future everyone will come individually 👌. The flowering of my TRICHOME WONDERS continues through week 12 and they have grown to an AMAZING size now. The main branches form HUGE colas and some of the plants have started their fade (=the leaves start to get yellow and/or purple), which shows they are getting ripe now and that the BIO-Tabs nutrients in the soil are almost used up. Perfect timing until the end of the cycle. The amount of TRICHOMES on some of my babies is FLABBERGASTING! 😱😍 The topbuds are ENCRUSTED with a WHITE LAYER of trichomes and the plants are GLISTENING now. Especially the Mr. Big Candy from Mr. Hide Seeds is a VERY BEAUTIFUL specimen...she has hues of purple and red in the buds and is FULL OF CRYSTALS! The aroma is a sweet candy like smell, which makes my mouth water every time. The biggest colas are formed on the Mr. Jekyll Kush from Mr. Hide Seeds, she is HUGE! Unfortunately one of the HUGE top-buds has developed bud-rot, therefore I ha to cut off the invested top part of the plant. (see in pics) The SANlight EVO5-150 and Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lamps are doing an OUTSTANDING JOB, they are hanging at appr. 80 cm from the top of the plants and running at 100% (=not dimmed) now. The intensity and spectrum of the LEDs is perfectly designed for the development of Cannabis plants and the results speak for themselves. THOSE LEDs WORK MUCH BETTER THAN HPS-LIGHTS!!! 👍😃 I LOVE THEM!

Like every time, I have a lot of springtails in my soil, hopefully it's not an issue. I added some strings to the Wedding Cheesecake because some branches are bending as the buds are getting bigger.

Also, among the 2 genetics, the Gorillas are growing much more robust and fast than the Money Makers are. They fit perfectly in the 8l RootPoch pots, so at time i didn't fixed them to the pots. Please revisit to see full week content😊 Thank you all for such amazing support 😊🤗💜 So far everything is going great. No issues at all. Both girls started preflower on Tuesday and already I can see that they started stretching nicely. Scrog net will be installed by the end of this week. Week 5 13-19 Nov. 13/11 day 36 First runoff experience for girls. Loaded both pots with approx. 2.5 ltr each in 4 stages of 500-700ml. Runoff 100-150ml from each. Runoff PH 5.9. Nutrients for this watering were same as on previous week and added only calmag. Next watering possibly Friday but with new measurements. 14/11 day 37 Both 🍌💜👊 girls started preflower on same day. Xena is catching up quick to her larger sister and possibly soon they will be sharing this growing space 50/50 15-16/11 days 38-39 Just happy and healthy days 😁 nice steady growth. 17/11 day 40 Second watering for this week. 5.5l beetwen both. Runoff Ph 6.1 19/11 day 42 Most busiest day so far. Both girls got very bushy in last few days and they stretched enough to install scrog net. Before installing net applied selective defoliation on both girls. 8-10 fan leaves from each. It's the end of this amazing week 😁 Thank you all again for such a great support 🤗✌️💚

She is gorgeous. Rub a stem or lightly touch a bud and your left with a deep berry smell with a backing of the earthy kush. Hope to see the flowers put on some real mass soon

Growing great. Drinking a gallon every 2 to 3 days. Posted a bunch from through the week. shes starting to fill in the empty spaces in little nugs and ive never got to watch this day by day before so im having a great time right now its off though that she still doesnt smell like much when you put your nose to her but when you touch some the leaves or touch the bud itself it smells pretty dank on your fingers Wondering if it will get louder as she finishes up

Day 21: A great week for these girls considering my nearly drowning them with a high res !!!. Aside my errors and the recovery , all been good. Wedding Cake has had an excellent stretch period giving her a really nice size to flower with. She didn't blink with the over filling as she was the top end and didn't suffer . Buds are forming up really nice on her all over and below the main canopy is just as full. She will get so.e lower small growth removed for air movement but as she is happy and vibrant I dont want to upset her now. lol The Ghost O.g did suffer a little with her main growing size but has put out some very tangible mains now. She has so.e very big fan leaves on her too. Gorilla Glue#4 had the worst of the drowning and her leaves are showing the signs of damage now. She is a good size and typically GG but I think recovery has slowed her down a little. Overall I am happy with their survival in such a hostile situation. good genetics . Be sane and safe Growmies.
