Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Wonder Pie Week five 5th June 2020 Welcome back to my Wonder pie Diary for the Greenhouse Seeds Win a trip to amsterdam Contest. It's been a busy week for the three plants. I waited until aprox mid week (Tuesday 2nd June) to begin some LST And each plant proved to be tricky in one way or another. Plant 1 has very flexible branches that I needed to use tent pegs on to hold down each branch I wanted to train. Plant 2 is very bushy and has quite a few side branches happening so I managed to tie down atleast 6 with some soft wire and left the others to grow a bit longer before I try more LST. Plant 3 was the trickiest because the branches are very stiff and not very willing to bend . I found this out by accidently snapping a branch off. I managed to tie a few down but have the two main branches still growing vertically for the time being. (Wed 3rd June ) Not touching them today and will water tomorrow (Thurs 4th June) Watered each plant with 2 Litres of Water (Friday 5th June) Today I am very happy with the way they responded to the LST all three plants have really bounced back well and look super happy. I have been playing around with a homemade CO2 producer which is very easy to make with household items. Basically I re-used a 1.5l empty water bottle as the container. Then I simply punched a small hole in the lid for the CO2 gas to escape. I then added aprox 7-10 teaspoons of Sugar & half filled it with nice warm water (not too hot) and let the sugar dissolve. Then I added 3 teaspoons of Bakers Yeast and gently shook it all up before placing the lid with the hole in it back on the bottle and placing it inside the Grow tent. The principle of this is that the yeast and sugar react with each other to start "Fermenting" which causes the release of gasses which are made up of CO2. Now whether or not this does anything to make the plants grow any faster is conjecture on my part but I have noticed that the plants look very healthy and growth has been more this week than previous weeks so who knows????? It's worth a try if you have the time and inclination to try it. Well that brings me to the end of this weeks Wonder Pie update. Day 63 Well there’s not much going on. Just watering when dry. They seem to be doing better. They are fattening up a bit more and putting on some density. I can tell by the fact that they’re leaning more. This is a 10 wk strain, but I’m gonna push it a bit longer til the trichomes are in a better range. They have a sweet tropical smell which is quite nice. Not the frostiest buds ever, but we’ll see how it shakes out. The smallest front one is the frostiest of the round. We’re just on autopilot til the end. Probably a week or 2 more and they’ll be ready to come down. Happy Growing 🌱

*If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. So hears my thoughts?? Instead of giving my "sensi grow COCO" dude gave me the normal sensi grow which as I'm a newbie, I didn't realize??? Was happily feeding it to my girls THINKING im@ 6.5ph which I CLEARLY wasn't!!!! Anyways, I brought Cal-mag agent from canna and they fuckin love it!!!!!! ALL my new growth is nice and green :) I'm now ph'ing to 6.0 and THINK I've rolled all my issues back????? Feeding now 1.0ml a&b with 0.70ml Cal-mag, will lower my calmag to around 0.30ml and over the next few days then feed that throughout my grow cycle, if they get to green ill obviously remove it from my regime...

Der Harvest war erfolgreich, alle bis zum maximalen Ende stehen lassen. Alles gleichzeitig zu ernten war ein bisschen unentspannt, da der Indoorgrow gleichzeitig zum trocknen hängt! Dennoch mega glücklich!!! Jetzt beginnt das Aushärten, die meisten Behälter sind zwischen 67-73% bleiben aber noch 1-2Tage offen.☮️

I never Head, This Bad of the Genetics. Without the Promo Seeed. I what if be fucked. It's Day twenty and on Five Plants there are not even noticable budspots. Never had this neverrrrr. All this worknfor nothing. Im about to really snapp. Only One Plant is looking, Good and This was a Promo Seeds from Amnesia Seeds all the Other Genetics are instable and not developing Any, bud. Im about to contact anesia seeds and look for a refund this is ridiculos. Not recommend buying from anesia seeds expensive and gemetics are not stableee. Never had this ever happen to me. The plants have the best conditions. Without words...........

Week 15 going good…not bad …switching to bloom nutrient… and did a ton of defoliating to loosen up the canopy hopefully they won’t grow too much when I flip them to 1212 in a week I’ve seen these plants three times the size. Hopefully I can stunt that growth during the initial stretch by switching to Bloom nutrients early. Defoliating a week before flipping. I may decide to top them more but I probably won Do I have to type here for it to be green this is crazy. I’ve done more than a paragraph now at this point it’s kind of weird that it’s not green be green what the hell can it still not be green
