Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. They're progressing nicely and definitely starting to get close. The stacking they've done is crazy on the main colas. All in all Happy Growing.

Flowering Purple Push Pops (grew 2023 outside) and Black Cherry Gelato (love to smoke it, first time growing) Clones- from my clone guy- 4 Purple Push Pops and 2 Black Cherry Gelato 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, GH 3-part+ flourolicious, calimagic, SI, chelated iron, and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension Garage grow SoCal This week I kept up the tucking and defoliating with the objective of stretching out the scrog and having at least one bud site per grid. I also upgraded to an oscillating fan which I hung to free up grow space. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I bumped my VPD up to account for leaf temp. The autopots are working. They just increased their (self feeding) appetite - up from .3 gallon a day to .8 gallons a day. This weeks accomplishments: Dehumidifier venting tuning Filled each scrog grid with at least one cola Stabilize temp, humidity and VPD. Stretched trellis with pvc frame Better oscillating fans for top and bottom airflow This week to-do By Monday evening, I have to install two more autopots - I’m still hand feeding the gelatos. I’m going on vaca, so we’ll see how this turns out. Long term issues Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues My fiancé is getting jealous of all the attention to my grow! I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Took some clones 1 week before flipping to flower but forgot to take pictures. The video of the clones are from oct 1st. The Turnt smelled like chocolate cover strawberries but now are smelling of garlic and pepper with a bit of undertone of strawyberries. The Diesel smelled like lemon pinesol but now smells of citrus mixed with gas. The Banana Clipz smells of berries mixed with skunk. Paradiso smells of citrus mixed with fruit. Lung Buster smelled lightly sweet at first but now smells like berries mixed with a undertone of garlic,funk, and gas . Spilt Paint smells of berries mixed with diesel and funk.

Easy week just coasting on RO and flawless finish, watching these girls live out their last days. Went 24 hours before harvest without water, made for nice easy deleafing. Hanging in the dry tent at 58-60% RH for the next 7-14 days with a fan indirectly moving air. Once I got the plants out of the pots to check out the roots could see right away they were having issues. Usually can pick up the whole soil block with the remaining stem, but two of three ripped out of the soil when I tried. The airdomes which are normally packed with nice healthy roots had mostly slimy dark roots. Not looking great at all, still thinking it was my shocking then with wrong nutes that did it. Have never seen such unhealthy roots, surprised they finished! Have a few more seed will have to run her again down the road. Todo marcha bien!! Creo que lo fundamental en esta semana es arta humedad y riego foliar por encima, pero en las raíces tratar de no llenar de agua ya que a esta temprana edad la plántula no tiene tanta raíces formadas, lo que provoca que se estanquen, quedando enanas y mostrando carencias por no poder beber. Trataré de seguir como voy, saludos 🍀

27/02/19 - This one is great, I popped the seed 24hrs after the gelato and this one seems to be developing its leaves a lot faster than the rest, so far really happy with DNA and with mills nutrients, it’s a lot easier to mix and I no longer have to use ph down because once all mixed it’s at a 5.8/5.9. 👌🏻 02/03/19 - Just transplanted all into their final pot, just in time I think as it looked like the roots were starting to circle at the bottoms of the pot, sprinkled half a tea spoon of Mykos on each hole prior to the transplant & fed them 2.5 litres each. I was going to saturate the whole pot but I’ll do that next feeding.

This week went great sofar just had a little fright when i saw a gaint grasshopper completely chewed of a whole bud for no reason just bit the stem right off i removed it by hand because i dont want to use pesticides .... anyway im reveging some of the clones and keeping some to spray silver and make some seeds
