Never had it before she topped her on her own wich I Never recognised before and I have it direct in Both cultivars from the ice Cream Haze did it aswell and got 3 Main branches from Day 1

So This week was the same as the last really, It seems all I have to do is sit back and watch these ladies do their thing! Ive not gone full on with the bloom supplements or PK yet as only 2/5 of the GG are seriously flowering. The other 3/5 GG are now Finally showing some signs of flower and some tops are starting to build and lowers producing more pistils each day! The Stardawgs continue to explode, even some friends who were sceptical about the performance of the Quantum board LED's have been flow away by the results. All of the buds seem to be building dramatically top to bottom which no shortage of frost! Macro shots on the way!!

9/6 Didn't do a video this morning. Went over again around noon and defoliated what needed it. I noticed what looked like stem mold on the special kush that those locusts have STRIPPED and saw what looked like mold but I left it and assumed it was just a bite out because it wad right at a node. I removed a major branch the other day. When I got back around noon the spot had tripled in size and was 100% mold. I cut that branch off too. It was a large main limb. The plant IS frosty but it's not ready. You cant see it but the calyx is pink. There are some branches that are completely stripped. They like the special kush for some reason and seem to target that. I should go over at night and see what I can see. Pink kush is flowering fairly aggressive. Not as much as the natural mk ultra though. I cant believe how fast those are exploding. As long as weather permits the pink kush will finish. I tried the special kush #1 which I'm almost done trimming and it wad amazing. Really eases anxiety and hits me square in the eyes. Very sedative happy strain. Tastes like pine, skunk and something I can't quite identify. Maybe the forest? I'm incredibly happy with the outcome. 9/7 Holy shit. It's STILL raining. Just for the ones that didn't hear it in the back, 'I' am so glad I harvested that plant when I did!" I got super lucky. I hate having to cut off limbs or come in the morning to find a branch eaten. Next year I'm 100% getting floating row covers. That will fix most problems. Buds are exploding in size. On everything. We've had some pretty high winds as well. The natural mk ultra continues to surprise me. It seems like the flowers get noticeable bigger day to day. Finally the pink kush has some small buds. This is an October strain though. I had already popped them or I would've been running more 10th planet or mk ultra. Hey maybe this strain will make it through the fall and give me some crazy quality nugs. It's an exciting time to be a cannabis grower. I processed and jarred that Special Kush #1. I trimmed almost everything. I have a jar of "smalls" buds that didn't come off a cola and another jar that is "trimmed" but needs to be "manicured" like the rest. I'll finish today and continue the curing process. It's always great to get an early phenome. Especially when it does what you want. Oh, I noticed a couple spots on leaves that COULD be septoria showing again. With all the rain I'm really not worried. I haven't been giving the preventative dose of Plant Doctor but I might do so when I need to water next. If I have a little while before harvest. That would help with budrot or any kind of fungal issue. I don't want to water when it's saturated. I'll wait until next water and even then I may not apply it. We shall see. EDIT: Stopped raining around 1 but it's been off and on. I shook everything off and found a pillar in one of the special kush plants. The one I had to cut to major limbs off. I got the moth larvae and removed all the debris inside. Did that with the other special kush and it was fine. I'm going over after dark to see what is munching on plants so fast. While I was removing the pillar a bird flew behind my head and grabbed something on the plant behind me. This morning a little feather was resting on a leaf. After the dive bomb I turned and found another. I can't help but smile. Nature can take her claim. It usually isn't much and I'm fine with that. The birds however are on my side. We've got a synergistic relationship. 9/8 Finally the rain ended. Didn't have time to take a video and everything was soaking wet. I'm noticing that things are getting a lot more frosty. I found my loupe so it will be easier to look at the trichs. The special kush that ive had to take two main limbs off (because they were totally stripped) is losing more. Long stalks with all the nodes eaten off with just the cola at the top. I'm not going to get much off this plant but I don't want to lose everything. The calyxes are pink and starting to retract. I'll take a look at it with my loupe when I get home. We are supposed to have a pretty good week. The natural mk ultra's buds are exploding in size! For the most part EVERYTHING is. It's going to be a good year.

Day 20 - she got 16oz of water pH balanced to 6.0~ on Day 16, Day 18, and Day 20. I topped the plant and then defoliated to leave the 3rd and 4th nodes. The 3rd node is being trained to grow laterally until it reaches the container walls. Once the 4th node matures more, it will also be trained just as node 3. The goal is to train and top one more time in veg to ensure maximum yields in this small 2x2x4 tent.

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Plant grew well outside if a little rot issue. Was operator error. She grew well under the Mars Hydro FC4800, with the Athena blended line nutrition. A berry sour smell with lots of frost. She should be a good 4 to 5 ounces once done. I did use mire then Athena recommend in flowering. I will be back with smoke report in a few months. It was not what I expected from her ... shes in flowering and I am left of that stature .... in a 20 liter pot ... it will be a very poor production in buds ... compared to the others .. but we will follow its evolution over the course of the weeks... and try to eradicate the bug.

The plant finally started stretching and the structure from topping and heavy LST is paying off with many evenly distributed bud sites. Growth was slow early on, but the plant is very healthy and the canopy is now forming nicely as flowering begins. 🌱

1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. Found 14 zkittles seeds in the big tasty one. 12 chocolate skunk seeds also. Buds looking terrible flushing at the minute to see if I can pluck some for hash or smoke possibly. Tops are going crazy on most plants growing fast! Will be making my own STS solution to use on most females. Really happy with the strains I've got gonna try and bank them all!
