Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

August 15th water August 16th nothing August 17th the weather is better so im not sure if i want to leave this plant on the balcony or if i will put her on the roof again, but at the moment in the 15 liter pot shes getting bigger and bigger, so maybe i will just finish this one on the balcony and accommodate the roof better August 18th first 'hairs' appeared 😁 we also watered August 19th nothing August 20th nothing: but it seems that the plant likes the guanokalong nutrients, no signs of deficiency or overfeeding! 13.4.25: This week has been so busy in the garden! I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅 I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I watered about 2 litres to each plant. Throughout the week, I've been defoliating all the fan leaves 🍃 The trichomes are looking all milky to me. I stopped watering a couple of days ago, and the pots are totally dry. 14.4.25: Today is Harvest Day! I finally put together my clothes rail, which I'm using to hang my plants on. I purchased a hanging mosquito net for a bed from Amazon. It's black, which will hopefully block out what little light there is in my drying room. Also, to prevent debris from sticking to the buds whilst drying. It hangs from the ceiling so it will just hang over the clothes rail. Additionally, the net will allow good airflow. I put a bit of thought into this method, so I look forward to seeing it in action! 😅 So let's wait a while and find out how much we yielded here! The final dry weight was 3.26 0z. It tastes like herbs, slightly peppery, and smells quite earthy with a hint of pine. Effects are calming, relaxing and melts away stress. It's quite strong stuff. 😃💚✌️🌱👌

Per questa pianta non ho voluto usare nessun tipo di stress per vedere come cresce la pianta siamo all'inizio della fioritura l'ora della luce resterà per tutto il ciclo a 18/6 in quanto autofiorente non ha bisogno del cambio di luce, in più abbiamo aggiunto al terriccio circa 15g di guaino di pipistrello e 25 g di fertilizzanti rqs a pellet a rilascio lento vedendo già un miglioramento della crescita da 2/5 cm al giorno a quasi 7 cm. Dalla settimana prossima inizierò con i fertilizzanti b-52 partendo da 1 ml arrivando tra 2 settimane a 2 ml/L.

week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

day 42 images are in last week, I can not count XD. bridal is stacking a lot of weight and is constantly shifting/leaning every morning, good things. I would chop any day but I will wait it out. water, tiny bit of humic and folvic to reduce chloromine, chlorine- air stones day 45 took a few nugs off on day 42, dried for 3 days. Tried bridal and blackberry. As a heavy recreational, thc is up there! bridal felt like having a blindfold over your eyes somewhat sativa uplift but heavy weight feelings. Very good. Lasted as good as 30%'s. Dr. Thunder was also very nice, nug was smaller so mixed with blackberry to have a small j. Also feels very good indica. Both trials were chopped on week 6 day 1. Very pleased with the results. I was worried bridal was more sativa; which charasteristica I am not looking for. So I believe this is a very good heavy hitter run with 4 plants. I can chop any day, but I am waiting for pink paradise to finish seeds. day45 took top nugs from bridal party, blackberry oreo bigstuff and dr. thunder. No touching pink paradise!! day 46 can chop anytime just waiting on pink paradise seeds to finish, bridal party leaning more day 47 bridal leaning hard from weight. day 48 stacking, day 48 video
