Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.

Week 5

Start of week 8 of flowering, day 78 for the plant. She's healthy but the buds are slow to fill out in size, this could be the result of the heat stress she suffered. Other than that, I'm still happy with this plant.

The Gorilla Gas F1 Fast has stretched an inch everyday so far in the first week. I was measuring everyday at 4:20 pm. I measured early today, I'm sure it'll grow half an inch again by 420. These ladies are stretching a lot so far. I fed the plants this morning with recharge and a little worm castings. My clones have been growing successfully as well. I have 2 clones of Pheno 1 and 2 clones of Pheno 2. The plant I accidentally broke in half has 4 colas now reaching for the light. The plant is smaller so I raised it so the canopy will be almost even. Watching football this morning. My outdoor plants are doing well too. I am growing regular seeds outdoors now. I have found 1 male plant, which is the largest plant outside.

Water only 💦 No problems until now ☺️ 1-2 week to harvest 🙌

DAY 28 Flowering: Hi all. I hope we are all well and sane with our family and friends intact. It has been a very strange week with some brilliant fortune that led to a slight dilemma. I had entered an online comp to win a p4000 by viparspectra. As I had used the xs1500 i was eligible to enter a picture for their photo competition. I never expected to win and there were some really nice entries too . It was a vote and not a sponsors choice for the win so this was an even more positive result for me . The light arrived and curiosity had me opening it !!!. With a 1ft wider coverage in flower and the issue of bunching up I was managing , it felt like a no brainer . After a very quick set up and hang ot was full power and full steam ahead. I hope this explains the change you may notice in the pics now. These ladies have grown very very bushy now and needed the spacing out a little too. I did het busy removing some more of the big fans too and had a little clear out of some small piffle... They are all really strong when I try to move their limbs now so I hope this is a future cast of big fruits to hold on them !!. There is a really nice sweet smell coming off the Amnesia haze and they are beginning to get quite tacky to touch now too. With 400w of full spectrum including so e it and far reds , we could have some sexy bud pirn glistening in no time. Lol Be well growmies. Until the next one.

This week has been great ,today is day 78 and the girls are just doin their thang , 1 looks ready for flush already and the rest look about another longer then flush for them aswell,, can’t wait to see how these girls finish out over the next couple of weeks 😍!! Hey everyone! Volume hasn't increased dramatically this week, but trichome production has gone into overdrive. And honestly, that makes me just as happy. Pistils are still almost entirely white, so the colas haven't fully expressed their potential yet. There's more to come. Temperatures hit 31°C during the day and 28-29°C at night, yet the Rainbows have maintained solid vigor throughout. Runoff EC came in only 0.2 points above input, so the nutrient solution stays unchanged. Plants are clearly in a good place. One thought though: could the trichome explosion be a natural defense response to the heat? What do you all think? 🤔 Good luck to everyone and as always critiques and advice are more than welcome! 🙌

Ok this week is going well. Some of them are stretching more then the others and that's ok. Of the little bit of smells I got from them just buy rubbing a frosty sugar leaf the 1st "blue" plant has hints of mint, the 2nd "red" smells like generic weed and the 3rd "yellow" is kinda a mix of the both. I was thinking they wold have stretched more but guess not. Still have another week or two before the stretch is done and its starts to thicken up. Plants are showing some signs of something, have not looked into to much but the blushing of the leaves on plant #1 "blue" could be from my heavy hand at water or cooler nighttime temps that have been hitting it. This is the one that is having the most issues. Because of this I did a soil slurry test of all three pots and they all had aorund the same EC but the PH was different in each by a significant amount. it went up from plants 123 it is to high in plant 3 and kinda high in all the others as well yet looks fine, and the one with the highest PH its the biggest of them all. go figure. Could have been a bad sample. I did not want to disturb the roots to much but wanted to get a full spectrum of soil from top to bottom of pot. I brushed off the top dressing to not artificially mess up the EC results and took it from about a inch in from the edge of the pot in one location only vs multiple. #1 "Blue"........EC=0.25||PH=7.20 #2 "Red".........EC=0.32||PH=7.36 #3 "Yellow"....EC=0.27||PH=7.95 With this in mind I will contemplate the idea of lowering the PH levels of the water I give them to help offset this. from 6.5 down to aorund 6-6.2 Have not checked in on clone is a while, they have been outside hardening off for the most part. I only have clones of plant #2 "red" and #3 "yellow" the #1 "blue" clones died and IDK what one is what in the 2nd round of clones I just tossed a bunch of cutting from all of them into a jar. so their is some #1 blue in there maybe, I know its mostly one of the plants just can't recall what one. Applied some BTi to the soil in the last water to kill the gnats, thought I had some nematodes leftover but I did not so went out and got some BTi at the grow shop. Should do the trick. Not much to say about this week. I still have not taken over ORGA Bloom which is my base and I will not do it until the end of the culture. We see that the resin is present and that the heads grow. I’m not going to leave it at that, so I’ll tell you what I’m going to do for week seven of flowering. So I do not take back my base but I keep my additives and I add two products to make my heads swell, Nirvana and Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients to the recommended dosages. I will also increase my watering volume to 6L of nutrient solution for 14L of substrate.
