I am feeding with tps one and CalMag oac one time, then it’s back to regular tap water (well water) that comes at 8.5 pH with 156ppm of tds. The feed was approx a pH of 6.5. More importantly is the consistent soil pH which appears fixed at 6.8 I know it’s lazy! However…. I have noticed doing this to reveal to me that the soil pH is very stubborn and not easily changed by the pH of the water alone. Stuff in the water can definitely have an impact. But still, most feed waters I use don’t change the soil ph. I do make sure the pH is within a healthy range for soil, something between 6 and 7 I figure is ideal. I’ve found if there is enough lime in the mix, and as long as I don’t over feed soluble nutes, then the soil pH appears stable and fixed. With enough lime in the mix, I can ultimately arrest the soil pH at 7. It’s really cool. I thought adding too much lime would give me something potentially alkaline, and maybe it will. But I’ve added lots of lime before and still haven’t gotten past 7 pH. Maybe I didn’t add enough to go further? Nevertheless I’m not interested in going past 7. I haven’t seen any issues with the speed of growth watering with 8.5 tap water, surprisingly. As I’ve said the soil pH would read 6.8 before and immediately after watering with the 8.5 tap. So….. I’m thinking the stability of the soil pH is a positive indication that the microbes are not being subjected to pH shifts, or at least nothing substantial. I mean, at the end of the day when things are looking good, I feel like I must have something right.

Week three of flower is off to an amazing start! At day 22, the ladies are looking incredibly healthy. They're praying like crazy, reaching for the light, and stacking nodes like it's their job. The buds are starting to plump up, and the trichome production is getting intense. I'm so excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks!

Buds seriously starting to fatten up, put out some serious trichomes and smell this week. Smell has intensified quite alot since last week soon as you open the tent the smell smacks you in the face. More trichomes by the day looking like a serious smoke. Upped the EC to 2 for this week to try and get a much out of these as possible. I won't be going any higher than a 2 EC so I don't fry my plants. Some orange hairs starting to appear on both the cereal milk and wedding cake.

week 2 flowering. no calmag issues so far the one i transplated in the 20L pot looks much better than the one left in 12L. the pot with 20L was filled at the bottom and around the edges of the old soil with 3 month fertilized soil. flowers already showing on both plants they were both vegged for 5 weeks august 20th: day 14 flower see last video of this week

------GENERAL COMMENT------ As planed I lowered the base nutrient to 2ml, and took a break from Cal Mag, to release the N a bit, green is on point now. Tomorrow will catch up with the Cal Mag schedule as usual. Time for some overdrive, for the rest all good, girls are developing well and buds are getting bigger, no issues. Smelling delicious! Questa settimana ho deciso di cambiare lampada tornando ad usare una vecchia hps che usavo prima, e ho notato che i risultati sono ottimi, con la lampada a LED sembrava che la fioritura stesse durando un'eternità, perciò ho provato a cambiare per vedere se la fioritura potesse velocizzarsi e sembra essere così. AGGIORNAMENTO: Giorno 8 NOVEMBRE, ho dato una bella sfoltita a tutte le bimbe, credo che questa sia l'ultima volta che le tocco anche perché questa volta ho eliminato alcuni rami veramente inutili e superflui.

Im experimenting a little with this grow. The plants at the front of the grow have been completely deleafed of all fan leaves not attached to bud sites. I did this about a week ago. The remaining plants will be left to the normal pruning.
