Gushers is in flower ! She is in 20 liter Blacksoil by Sonnenerde, she has a bit of a claw going on which I fixed by now, its was due to to much water as black soil has amazing water holding capacities and just needs less water in general. She is happy and she is growing super fast !

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

Day 1 of the 4th week in flowering time to start pk 13 14. So far had spray neem oil 2x a week at night and happy with results plants looks enjoy the plagron nutrients and our sun.

The cal-mag issue has been handled and is growing strong. They are definitely producing some buds I hit them with a nasty defoliation trying to get humidity down and expose as much light to the nugs as possible. This will be the last time I hit them like this but will be still removing large fan leaves if they get in the way of bud sights. Hopefully lord willing everything will continue to go smoothly and we can get a good harvest.!! Happy growing and god bless.

The Mandarine Cream is in its second week of flowering and is stretching incredibly. The plant is growing nonstop, and the buds are swelling beautifully. The aroma is becoming extremely strong, shifting to a more citrusy scent, reminiscent of grapefruit. The plant is healthy and looking great. Ambient Conditions: This week started off warm (with a minimum of 23ºC and a maximum of 30ºC), but a cold front has brought the temperatures down again (with a minimum of 11ºC and a maximum of 20ºC). Humidity remains quite low, around 30-35%. Training: I’ve kept the main apical tied down, which has resulted in 12 colas. Other than that, I haven’t done any additional training or defoliation. Fertilization: I applied one final dose of nitrogen this week and nothing else. Pest Control: The Beauveria treatments continue, and I no longer have any issues with the fungus gnats that had appeared. Watering: I’ve been watering the plant very minimally, as the substrate has been staying moist on its own. Looking Forward: From here on, there’s not much left to do except let the flowering progress and enjoy the results.

This week I performed a good defoliation to clean up the canopy and improve light penetration and airflow. I also added a second scrog net to help support and organize the branches as the plant continues developing in flower. On the positive side, I haven’t seen any more signs of the thrips since the treatment, so hopefully the issue is under control now 🌱💪

This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth.

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Greetings fellow Green Thumbs! As promised, check out those roots :) I had to zip tie my light to the ceiling of the tent haha I can't seem to find the 1-foot extension set. Hopefully I won't need it. Still got about 5 inches of space left. Trimmed some more lower growth to open up the middle. Pre-flower pistil action. Looks good. Plant looks pretty healthy. Res temps hovering around 72F with constant white root growth. Decided to ramp up nutes to full strength (GH Flora 3-Part "Simple Drain-to-Waste" Schedule | Week 6 - Early Bloom minus FloraLicious Plus and RapidStart) <== in case I haven't mentioned already 👌 I think for my next run, I will run an airline through the net pot prior to filling with HEC and have it centered directly underneath the plant (Korinthius has been doing this since day one!😉) Thanks for tuning in.
