Week 3

So here we are with the last chapter of this journey which had many ups and downs but overall was a great experience. I love growing, it slowly became my passion thanks for GD and the community. It makes so much better, and lot of fun, one can interact with others and can learn from each other. Thanks for everyone who was with me in this last 2 years, you made me a better grower.🌱🌞 So let’s talk about the progress. I grew Liberty for the second time because it was my first photoperiodic strain 2 years ago and totally impressed me with it’s high yield and the effects. I wasn’t disappointed this time either. She had great structure, responded well to topping and training, and was resilient to pests. The germination rate wasn’t as good as usual and finally got 3 different phenotypes from the 5 germinated seeds. I topped them once and performed low stress training to get a flat canopy. The strong structure and rate of growth was impressive in the first 10 weeks which was actually a vegetative phase. They didn’t have any nutrient issues and even though they were under stress for two weeks (was my fault) in mid flowering, they performed really good. So it is a stress tolerant variety in my opinion.👌🌱 The buds are large sized and fat with medium resin production and a different scent for each phenotype. They aren’t dense and sticky like some indicas, but that says nothing about their potency. Flowering time was longer than the breeders recommendation but it's worth all the patience. Four plants were harvested 10 weeks after switched to 12/12 and one after 11,5 week. The harvest took place in several phases and some were immediately trimmed, some were hung with leaves. Calyx to leaf ratio was high except one plant so was relatively easy to trim. Plants which were trimmed after drying was easier this time.💚✂️ Based on the name, you'd really think it's a strong sativa strain but actually, this plant is a balanced hybrid, and it shows in both the growth characteristics and the effect. I am satisfied how this grow turned out however I know that it could have been better without my mistakes. In those two mid flowering weeks when the VPN was off and they were in stress I lost both the yield and the quality of the bud structure. So the total weight is 475 grams. 41 grams ore smaller airy popcorns and the rest are nice nuggets. I weighed the plants separately because I stored them also like this for later testing and smoke report.

She smells good of sweet strawberries and also of typical glue 50/50. the first trichomes are turning amber so it really can't be long now. even the first seeds are getting color..fast girl 😎 that makes me happy... 85% of the time it was either cloudy or raining (at least half of all days)...bad weather test passed💪..without mold without anything despite the shitty messed up soil everything done right the girl ..very robust and really worth a try👍 under top conditions definitely worth a trip!!!! If I win there will be another round under "top" conditions😅⚡💚💚💚💚

This week was cloudy and rainy but it doesn't look too bad. Usually in the fourth week autoflowers start to grow rapidly - time will tell. I watered the plants with water only. Anny suggestions?

Day 50 (22 of flowering ) flowering is really bloom ing now, i’m playing a little with lamp distance cause is a 100 watt non dimmerable so i hope to increase light to bud, they need now. Now she really needs a lot of feed. I give 1 lt every2 days. Day 51 (23 o flowering ), another 1 lt full. Now she’s eating 1 lt every 48 hours, and when she need it anyway. But she need à lot more thème before. Day 53 I had to supercrop this branch that was too close to the heat ventilation. I hope it will save the branch and increase maybe that bud. Today another 1 lt of feeding, and I think that from the end of this week is going to need more. Let’s go!

30 deep and every single one is standing tall and at attention, I'll be transferring these girls into a 3 gallon pots at there 4 week period, I'm only watering these once a week and there doing great.

Day 22- She stopped putting on height due to one night of a dramatic temperature drop. It's a cooler fall this year plus a freeze came through the night before. That night, I was up doing some studying when I noticed the reading on the remote display. N o telling how long it had been in the very low 60's. The problem was fixed simply by adding a heater to the room. Now, the temp is only in the 68 degree range for the final 2 1/2 hrs. before the lights are cut back on. Day 26- Her bud branches hav grown at least 2 -5 innches in length and have at least 2-4 bud sites already. Instead of Defoliation, I decided to actual two different types of LST. The first is simply bending to fan leaf branches under to expose the bud branches to more light. The main benefit is that you still keep the ability to absorb more of the light energy with them. I look at the fan leaves as your plant's " Personal Sun Panels". Since they store energy in the day and use that reserve to grow at night, why would you take something away for her that is meant to help her? Also, the second method I used is something I like to call" wind thickening". The technique is using wind resistance to train your plant's stem and branches to become more rigid by growing thicker to stablize itself. So, instead of a gentle breeze, I use a three speed box fan at varies distance. I started doing this on Day 22 and the results are definitely showing. The main stem went from 1/16 in. to a nice 3/8 in.

Flowers still growing, i will let one more week or so before harvest. Giving water only. Flowers are very dense like rocks. Smell is amazing, like fresh sweet fruity gas :)

👨‍🚀👋My 4 seedlings have grown well since the beginning and will soon have their flowers appear. 😊 First time that I have grown so many plants in my 1M², first time that I have not cut the main apex of the plants. I try a lot of things in this culture and it is certain that there is a lot to improve.😉 My goal is still 300g of dry buds at the end of this cultivation with my 16 plants👌 This week I continue to defoliate the lower branches. from the beginning I have been making different cuts on each plant And with supports I start trying to balance the height of all my plants so that they are approximately the same distance from the lamp ------------------------------------------------------------ 💧Watering I water all my pots the same day but with more or less water. Simply by lifting them; A light pot is a dry pot and will need more water, A heavy pot is a wet pot and will need less water. On average I water each pot with: Day 36 : 0.75 Liters Day 40 : 0.75 L I use tap water, adjust the ph to around 6 and water 💧Spraying I mix a little black soap and neem oil in 1L of water and spray everything in the tent just before my lights go out, keeping any electrical appliances away while I spray. I try to soak all the plants. and I repeat this 2 times this week and the next before the buds appear. Another week gone! The first girl on the left finished early, with around 10-20% amber trichomes, so I happily chopped her. The others are close behind and probably entering their final week before harvest. I lowered the RH to 50%, and wow, the aromas really exploded-sweet and intense! One showed her Granddaddy Purple side with beautiful violet hues, while the others stayed true to their Orange Punch phenotype. It's been an awesome run, and next step is flushing the substrate with pure water, CalMag, and Cannazym (pH 6.5). Good luck everyone, and happy growing!

I backed my light up a little and let my nutes sit for longer this time. She’s improving. Think I’ll up my ph on the next watering. Trichs are starting to come in I added a dish of water to up humidity. Don’t know if it’s helping. One of the pics has a blemish. It’s from me, not spotting from deficiency. She’s looking yellow and skinny. Stems got really dark

Heute ist Tag 20 nach Keimung, bis jetzt sind wir sehr zufrieden, die Ladys entwickeln sich gut und sehen gesund aus. Ist das erste Mal mit Green House Feeding. Auch das erste Mal Autos und die Fastbuds Genetiken, scheinen gut zu gehen. Sie haben heute ihren ersten Tag im Garten verbracht, wir sind gespannt was da am Ende raus kommt unter der deutschen ☀️

The Bruce Banner shows the first pre-flowering in Veg4. Plants are growing well but the size of the tent doesn't make it easy. The plants have already been switched to a 12/12 light cycle.
