Getting chunky.

I’ ve been really really excited in growing this 🍊. I really loved it to do ti in grow diaries. Community helped me and I hope I’ll be doing always better. I think next time I’ll do a foto to play a little bit more with structure of the plant. Buds smells like orange and cotton, chocolate pinus. Can’t wait to try it. 🚀 Dutch Passion - Melonads Runtz 🚀 100 days from seed and 52 days into flowering, and what a journey it's been! This beauty has developed into an absolute showstopper, with dense, trichome-covered buds that are sparkling from top to bottom. Day 42-49 (Day 43) I was at the dollar store today and I found the best little plant risers. And they all link together in perfect 12” squares. Fits in my tent perfectly and only spent 15 bucks. That should help the dry downs quite a bit. I’m going to transplant the euro genetics into 1.7g pots with amended sunshine mix #4 for their final containers. I moved all of the non-marijuana seedlings into a small greenhouse out of my tent so I have some more space and light per plant. I also set up an exhaust fan to keep the humidity at a perfect 65-70% night and day. (Day 44) Everything is looking a little nute burned and droopy. The garlics are showing signs of overwatering and nitrogen toxicity. They look like they want to flower so badly. Node spacing is weirdly short too. I picked up the American genetics to look for roots and they were busting out of the bottom. They’re definitely not rootbound as they’re not even a foot tall yet. This is likely from having soil that is too compact (from using too much rock dust and not enough drainage) causing my waterings to not even reach the bottom of the pot. This was also happening to my other grow. I will make sure to very lightly pack soil into pots for now on because you can always add more later. I’m going to fluff up the pots and see if I can loosen the soil a bit. If that doesn’t work I’m going to look at transplanting into 3g fabric pots and lightly shaking off most of the old soil. Luckily I added a shit ton of drainage for the euro genetics when I amended the sunshine mix so they won’t need a transplant. (Day 46) The fluffing didn’t do much. In fact it might have made it worse lol. I just went to the store and bought some Destiny Organics soil and have decided to transplant. I dusted off 90% of the old soil down to root ball which will cause an insane amount of stress to the plants. The plants started in the aero garden were being choked out by the shitty sponge plug it was germinated in. I took a razor blade and carefully cut them down the middle so the stem can expand. I might have cut a few major roots one or two plants. Other than that everything is transplanted. I cut all my amendments in half and I packed the soil very loosely this time. The situation is not ideal by any means but I’m hoping they will bounce back in the next week. This should at least set them up for a more successful flower. I can’t really expect much quality from botched run but who knows. I might come out with some fire. Since this is my last grow here I don’t even have to pay the power bill for the next few months! (I have a very generous landlord as he’s letting me finish my grow until mid September now 😂) (Day 47) I’m going to give them their first good watering and test my fluffy soil. I watered in approximately 700mls each making sure it soaks to the bottom of the pot. (Day 49) All the plants have bounced back except for the ones with root damage. They are still looking droopy and sad. The black garlic #1 has recovered really nicely and is looking happier than ever. The apical growth tip is so tight it has like 4 nodes within an inch somehow. I recently learned that hormones contained in kelp and seaweed extracts can act as plant growth inhibitors and shorten node spacing drastically. I only added a very small amount of kelp meal to the soil so it must be leftover from the previous foliar sprays Velokelp. I’m going to pinch the top off bg1 and see if the lowers can catch up. Sucks to do that so close to flip but oh well. The euros are looking fully recovered from their burn a little while ago. The sunshine mix is quite thick and water retentive as well but at least it has some extra drainage. They’re all looking quite healthy.

This week I ll water with just rain water for a couple of times. Maybe I ll give it another week of feed after but not sure yet. It will depend of how they go. Smell is really intense. Special Lime Haze smells herbal and cheese.

Hey guy and gals, So, I was going to prune the girls tomorrow, but a mate dropped a half over, got stoned and decide, Bugger It!, so we hooked in today. I did take some after shots. Should have done 'before and after, but, I was STONED !' The girls look happier, more sprightly, less 'HEAVY'. Saved the biggest and best fan leaf for a mate. He is amazed at the leaf size. Then earlier today, when he dropped in ;-) , he had a look and near dropped. Big Bud has so many nodes, he was shocked. The FIMing/Topping, whichever I did has done amazing things. On a side note, I haven't grown heaps before, so this grow is amazing me. Previous grows got small buds, small amount, only just covering the cost of my setup (Hydro at the time and tent). I now have a BIGGER tent, am using SOIL and they are thriving. Personally, I think the water is the major factor, but also my 'dedication'. I check the girls 2-3, maybe 5 times a day (viewing port). Regular PH, moisture and such checks. I even put a sticky fly strip in there, as a bloody fly got in. This grow, besides the constant checking, I have Fim'd/Top'd, I have pruned them to promote growth. Basically, I have learned heaps, both from here and videos. I have re-read pretty much everything I read previously, tweaked a little and it seems to be working. Northern Lights is still a week or a bit more away from a prune, I think, then we will give them a couple more weeks and turn them to flower. I am aiming for a Late May/Mid June harvest, then a month in jars to cure. All going well, I will have a heap of and great choice, for my birthday in July :-D So, feel free to let me know how they look. Shoot through any advice. Stretched like crazy! Showing sativa dominance. 1 plant had 2 roots stuck in cup and broke off. Hopefully recovery is fine and I can get to the fun of training soon!

So I’m cutting back on the nutes for a while. Think I’ve been over doing it with them. Not much growth and waiting for them to stretch but it’s not happening. Got my light at 2ft but still no go. Don’t think I will be yielding much from these girls but will keep with them.

Day 66 ... the weather get´s more worst too cloudy and cold at night 😱😫😵... so i decide to harvest today 😃👍 Now "Hilde 2.0" is hanging in the dark in the basement and can dry... I'm curious to see how the harvest turns out 😃🙌🙏 Day 2 drying in the dark 😃👍 Day 3 still in the darkroom 😜👍 Day 4 drying out go on and i think 8 or 10 days to go 😉 Day 5 drying is not finished... darkroom romance 😂👍

Week 4 begins for LSD, the good trip continues! Lots of nice bud sites developing and she has a somewhat sweet aroma. Removed some larger leaves and some yellowing one's. Overall plant looks great. I also increased feeding to 5 liters. Thanks for looking 👽🔥🌳

This beautiful girl got the chop. All I can say is Wow. It went full on beastmode in the Cannpot system which is a self watering pot through a wicker system. The pungent sweet and sour smell, followed by dense colorful flowers it's a growers dream. The total wet weight came to a whopping 1014g. Over all was fun to grow especially watching the flowers swell in the final weeks before harvest. Did very little besides a defoliation and lollipop and started feeding Athena Blended line around week 2. Happy Growing.

So she grew another 26cm this week!!!!!!! But that means the flowering stretch is coming to an end. Her flowers are starting to form nicely. They look really dense at this early stage. Can't wait to see what she's like in a few weeks.

Tag 105: Die letzten 2 Wochen beginnen. Ich gieße nur noch Wasser ohne Dünger. Eigentlich würde ich Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit gerne weiter senken, doch da macht mir gerade ein warmer feuchter Herbst ein Strich durch die Rechnung 😤 Die Pflanze hat schon recht helle gelbliche Blätter, was ich schon früh befürchtet hatte. Das Wetter war leider oft einfach zu warm für die Pflanze.

Start of week 2. Week 1 went well, though she is showing signs of deficiencies. Hopefully with the addition of Big Bud, she'll perk up shortly.

Tapering nutes off for the flush. Also added a small amount of Barley as a top dress to help her finish off.
