Transplant day!!!! Transplanted my 5 Purple lemonade ladies from solo cups, to 5 gallon grow bags! Today is day 14 and they had a fantastic root system. (Attached a photo). I am running FFOF this run, with 20% perlite added to the mix. I will not be running any nutes until probably week 5, as fox farms comes ready to go. This will be my first run with Ocean forest. My normal medium is Cocoloco by bushdoctor. I top dressed these girls with around 2 inches of cocoloco from a previous grow, to keep the gnats and bugs down. They dont mess with the cocoloco, I'm in Hope's that the couple inches of that on top will help with this also. They will veg under a 4ft, 8 bulb T5 Light.

These strain deserves to bee in each groow . Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. So it's next week, getting closer to happy times. There has been a significant increase in the size of the buds, they are beautiful. It looks like this pretty girl will arrive on schedule 😇

Its amazing how tall these plants are getting, the topped one is just as tall as the non-topped. Flipped these to 12/12 last weekend, no sign of flower yet, added some p/k to the last watering. Slight burning on top leaf tips which I'm guessing is because of it growing closer to the light, I'll have to work out a way to shorten the light hangers.

Bueno después de no poder poner las últimas etapas, sobre la semana 8/9 hicimos el corte de la planta, dos semanas antes de lo pensado ya que tuve que recoger todo el armario para montar el nuevo proyecto la verdad la cortamos con dos semanas antes de tiempo. Un sabor rico muy a especias. La cantidad en seco fue nada más ni menos que 64,5g, unos 20gs por planta muy bien. Buen sabor, no rasca y muy buen colocón. La verdad la volvería a repetir!

So just been keeping an eye on the ph and ec staying pretty stable. Water temperature is good at 21.3c. ec .03 ppm 277

The buds continue to grow and there are more and more trichomes :) I'm now watering with 4 ml/l of Bio-Bloom which is the maximum dosage recommended by the data sheet. The plants look well and the yellowing of the leaves almost stopped. There are yellow leaves appearing on the O.G. Kush. I think they are too close from the light but since most of the plant looks healthy, I will not move it away from the light. Harvest period is slowly coming. I think they will need around 4 more weeks to be ripe.

Day 40. Very busy week for me, this weekend I'll make a plan and we will see were each girl is ... Till then only pure water all week. Girls are starting to pump up and maybe I'll have 2 ounces from half of the plants, that's a lot better than my first view after holidays was ... Happy Growing !!!

Day 38: I am getting the big 50L fabric pots primed and set with the eco-thrive Living Organic Soil . I am a few days over the update so the photo/video is from day 36. I am in the process of rebuilding too so time has been a luxury.

I’m thinking the girls need another week or two, getting very close but I do prefer indica effects so I’m waiting on that beautiful amber color yield might not be all there but quality is definitely showing 🔥💪 shoutout to 420 FASTBUDS for great genetics!

Day 36. Big week . New light was added and rhythm changed to 12/12. Pot was top uped with 3 handfulls of BioBizz Worm Castings. 1.5 g of Biosys and 1.5 g of Great White were added too. After training she got 2l of water, slowest drinker at the moment. Girl got small defoliation, when you bent main top, one fan leaf is always staying in everyone's way, so he had to go. Think to do big clearing on day 14-18 of flower. Got first wave of LST, main top was lowered, couple leaves and one shoot were repositioned and secured too.. Genererally stem is thick, needed two places to tie, to make any movement, side shoots are developing evenly too, all thanks to : TS1000 by Mars Hydro, great light, did perfect job during veg period, now i added one more for better coverage of long tent. Think in tent 1x1m i could manage to flower all 3 without any ad ons .... Great small light for amazing price. Day 40. Girl develops nice and even, good colour and i am happy with her. Day 42. New training day, first time took so many away, girl lost 10-15 leaves, most were huge, no bottom clearing still. 2.5 liters of 6.3 water went in. Happy Growing !!!
