Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 5 weeks of flowering completed 2nd April 2020 Hi Everyone , Welcome back to my diary The plant I created is growing nicely nothing much to report other than the smell has changed yet again... Now it resembles yoghurt or slightly sour milk crossed with fruit. Not an unpleasent smell by any means just unusual. I'm not needing to feed a lot as the soil seems to be providing most of her nutritional needs. Now For the Aussie Music Videos Because this plant is geeting closer and closer to harvest time I thought I had better start doing more than one video a week lest I miss out on too many great videos I could add. So this week I have picked three videos from three different Artists all of which are very much loved here in australia. Week 16 - Day 103 08/16: Harvested Aaliyah on 08/15, Day 102 from soil and Day of flowering. After one week of pure water for Aaliyah, some of the trichomes have turned amber. I decided to harvest about 3/4 of the plant. Some of the lower buds didn’t receive enough light during the grow, so I’m hoping they can grow a little more before I bring the whole plant down. I also removed some of the dead and very young growth that was coming up. I didn’t have another spot to hang the buds because of the smell, so I tied them over the other plants. Now that she is mostly harvested, the smell has increased. I now have Annie on the side so she is getting less direct light. She already took some bleaching on her main colas. Alexis still has about a week left. I’ll check her trichomes before the next watering to see if I should start flushing. 08/18: Aaliyah’s harvested buds were getting close to being dry, so I decided to start cleaning up some of the sugar leaves. The smaller, less developed buds got chopped up and set aside for some dry ice hash. Since she was on the left side of the tent, a lot of her colas did not receive enough direct light. I hung up a few of the nicer looking ones that I’m keeping as flower to finish drying. [General notes: I still don’t have a scale to take note of the exact wet weight, but I’ll make sure to have one for the dry weight. And since all three plants are of the same strain, I’m going to wait till the last one is chopped up before posting the full harvesting results.]

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Obama runtz x gas tax sad to say both seedlings are super crappy so far. If it was not for the gas tax parent being the best flower ever then I wld just toss these but sometimes the crappy slow growing plants end up being super dank It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

Por ahora, todo marcha excelente y las plantas están respondiendo de maravilla. 🌿 Dato útil: Unos días antes del trasplante (semana 3), a las macetas de 11 litros les apliqué al menos 1 litro de agua con una dosis mínima de Root Juice. Esto fue para preparar y humedecer el sustrato, lo que facilitó mucho el trasplante y evitó la necesidad de regar en exceso esta semana. ¡Seguimos dándole con cariño y atención al cultivo! 🌞🌱

Apple Fritter is doing good. I have not done anything, but a solution change. Will likely switch light hours to flowering next week. 13 Out - 22o dia- A planta atingiu os 13 cm e 4 folhas reais, uma boa altura para começar com os fertilizantes, 4 ml de Root Juice e 2 ml de Bio Heaven e Active-Vera por cada litro (2 L Total) 16 Out - 25o dia - Regada com a mesma mistura. 19 Out - 28o dia - Transplantei a planta para um vaso maior (7,5 L), ainda não estava pronta completamente Root bounded mas acho que mais vale antes que depois. Regada com 4 litros de água com 16 ml de Root Juice, 4 ml de Fish-mix e 8 ml de Bio Heaven e Active-Vera. Continua...

We pulled her down with approx 90% cloudy trics..not a massive harvest and she could have gone an extra week but we're still playing catch up from our hermi ,we also desperately needed the space..I REALLY like this strain, it's easily becoming a favorite...it didn't last very long the firs time lol...the wife gives it a 7 and I'd say it's a firm 8.5 :)

This week has been good, pistils started showing up on the 27th. Just watering with ph'd dechlorinated tap water. I bought lst wire but I'm not too sure if I did lst the best way but there are about 6 side branches with tops and 5 more on the way. Im probably going to be switching my 50% veg 20% bloom, to a 50/50 consuming 190 true watts from the wall next week.

Zkitzz Auto has impressed me. Massive chucks of solid dense bud rich in trichomes. Coke can size main colas and all side branches not far behind in size.. brilliant grow of top quality looking herb.. Can wait for the smoke test.. Happy growing friends 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

D57/F13 - 27/05/23 - Added sunset and sunrise (only red lights for 1,5 hours at the start and 1,5 at the end) D58/F14 - 28/05/23 - I set up my AFD (see picture). I find a way to feed her automaticly when I 'll be out, Every day I start the pump for 30 sec (about) to give her 2 liters of nutes with my AFS (Automatic Feeding System) D59/F15 - 29/05/23 - Automatic feeding D60/F16 - 30/05/23 - Automatic feeding D61/F17 - 31/05/23 - Automatic feeding D62/F18 - 01/06/23 - Automatic feeding D63/F19 - 02/06/23 - I'm back, Nora looks ok, automatic feeding works. A little bit of problem with timelaps framing, but it's ok, I've got all info I need. EC 0.9 and pH 6.5

Thanks for dropping by and welcome to another exciting update :P Finished manifolding and continuing LST. Transplanted into final 7 gallon pots on day 35. Mixed my own soil and let it cook for a month, slurry test is 6.4ph and 400ppm. Lots of work but I think the plants are liking it....so far so good, will be flipping soon. The cultivation was very easy and relaxed. I just watched the insanely fast growth and did LTS. 😄 But by my mistake, the plants received a small nutrient burn, at the moment when the plants were at the end of the peak of maturation. This did not do much damage to the plants, but after that the plants were watered with clean water and washed with FlashClean. The inflorescences are dense and have a large number of trichome crystals 👌

It's not exactly how I expected it to be, explosive... but it's not bad either, we'll see, we're here, we're following, I hope that RF3 will have coverage for its story... I'll do my best 🍀

-Set up a 4x4 with the mars hydro FC6500 and planning to do a more hands off grow style the first run with clones in auto pots -Swapped my older model AC Infiniti T4 exhaust with the cloudline T6 equipped with the new controller 69 for complete grow automation. -Ordered the adapter to connect my HLG 350R with the controller 69 allowing automated light control dim switches between RH & temperature and sunrise/sunset effect. -Flipping to flower -Heavy selective defoliation /start lollipop cleanup -Foliar fed
