First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. 6/14 These are some thirsty girls. It seems the roots have filled the grow bags. The added wind makes it so that I need to stay on top of the water. I also need to spray again. When defoliating I saw some WPM on the very inside of a couple plants. I killed a few aphids on one plant. It seems if I just manually kill them it takes a while for them to repopulate. Also found a worm. I should bust out the BT but I am undecided considering I have the WPM as well. Foliar spray will probably be Dr. Zymes or lost coast plant therapy. Note LCPT seems to not do shit against aphids. Will update as the week progresses. UPDATE: Went back over after noticing strong wind. 15mph sustained wind had my plants going as sideways as possible. Luckily the vertical trellis and supports I made have stopped any major damage thus far. I decided NOT to put tarps up on the south which is where the wind is coming from. I hope I do not regret that decision. I plan to spray tonight. 6/15 Rained all night so I was unable to spray. Surprisingly no damage from all that wind. 6/16 Rained during the night and soil was still wet so didn't water this morning. I noticed markings on one of my transplanted seedlings. Found Thrips. I've never dealt with these before. I was planning on spraying BT but now I'll need to switch to something else. LCPT, Dr. Zymes, or spinosid (captain Jack's dead bug). Considering I have been dealing with PM I'll try to use something that will deal with both. I'll update as I go. I have defoliation I need to do on at least one plant. I also need to reevaluate my space and consider moving a couple plants that way it isn't to crowded. Another windy day but it's from the north west which is better as the tree line and tarps help.UPDATE Went back over and watered all plants. One plant had a slight droop which is surprising considering the two days of rain. The wind dries those grow bags out quick and it was sunny day. I watered the one that looked a "little" droopy first before applying Lost Coast Plant Therapy to the entire garden with a half gallon pressure sprayer. I hope this was a good idea. The droopy plant got treated last. We shall see tomorrow. 6/17 Everything looked great this morning. Lightly watered before feeding 2 gallons. Replaced microbe brew with kangoroots this time. Plants looked very happy. No negative results from the lost coast plant therapy. If anything they look better. My cage is getting overwhelmed. I need to remove at least two smaller plants. They are exploding in that 50gal and the tote. If I removed just those two I think it would work a lot better. I would have more room to work as well. 6/18 LCPT doesn't seem to effect aphids. I noticed a few on ONE plant and had been killing them manually. Population was only on literally a leaf or two. I think my follow up treatment will be Spinosid. It works great and hits pretty much everything. I've used it once already. Plants are incredibly healthy. Leaves were wet so it lightly rained last night. I lightly watered as the soil still seemed moist. Different size containers makes a consistent watering schedule difficult. UPDATE: Went over and watered tonight. Checked the one plant that had a few aphids for aphids and found like a dozen lady bug larvae instead! They survived the wind and had babies! These are just wild guys that are all over the place here. Couldn't find a single bug other than that lol. 6/19 I watered early this morning lightly as the soil was not totally dried out but then it started pouring. Plants looked great this morning. After the rain I'll do some defoliating and check for any remaining thrips. Later in the day we had torrential rain that knocked out my cameras. Plants look fine as you can see and all cams and motion sensors are back online. I have backups but still. 6/20 We had torrential rain but plants are fine. Watered what needed it lightly. Bags dry out fast and I've found I need to water often or some will droop. Found spiders that had killed a couple of my lady bugs. I killed what I could. Still need to defoliate and apply second application of whatever I decide.

Day 78 Hey growmies, The girls received 2 liters of water with fertilizer and Cal-Mag today. Before that, I defoliated them for the last time – I hope it wasn’t too much, but I wanted to try a more radical approach to hopefully get an even better end result. Unfortunately, some of the Pink Gelato's leaves are showing clear signs of heat stress, but so far she’s still growing well. I hope the terpenes are okay. Day 79 The girls are doing well so far. Unfortunately, the tips of the Pink Gelato are a bit burned, and it's supposed to get even hotter in the next few days. I hope she survives the heat. The other two ladies don’t seem to mind it. The smell and the buds are getting bigger and bigger. The carbon filter is managing to neutralize the strong smell. Now we're heading into the final days of flowering

Seeming like we are going to be harvesting in the next week or so. So we are moving on to flushing. Watering twice a week with ph balanced water. No nutrients.

Update - Tuesday 22nd June To be honest this week hasn’t gone great. I noticed some fruit flies or fungus gnats. There are only a few and they don’t seem to be attracted to the buds at all. None the less for the moment I have put some cider vinegar, soap and water and put t in as wide a surface area as possible and there are quite a few stuck in there after a day. Iv also ordered some of those sticky traps to put around the edge of the pot. Luckily I’m getting rid of my media, the tent, everything inside the tent and will be using a paint spray gun to spray ozonated water or if it’s really expensive then just hydro strength hydro peroxide will be used to spray all surfaces of the room.

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Here we go atbthe beggining of the 4th week of flowering. She is beautiful check out the main stalk crazy haha.... I was hoping about red colour but not appeared yet. The bonsai version is nicely getting purple :) Not much to say anyways just need to wait :) Fertilization is still the same every second day with the rationand mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

So i flushed all old nutrients out and switched over directly to ripen, now they finish up in the coming 14 days

So the net is installed, lets wait until it is full covered and then going into bloom. I make this time a trial only to feed the Organe sherbet with Melass yeast buddermilk and sugar in vegetation. The yeast will produce the whole grow enough co2 to keep it up about 800 ppm only thing you have to do is to put some sugar in the feeding solution.
