Pretty quiet week in the tent. We did a little defoliation during the middle of the week but they are already full little bushes again. We raised the light up a bit to try and get them to stretch from the pots so we can lollipop in a few weeks. Our soil plants are doing very well too, @Foxfarm has really proven to be a great soil and the northen soul strain loves it. The smell inside the tent is definitely strong and they have been drinking alot more water.

W19 (Harvest) 6-6 Last day before harvest. 7-6 Harvest day! Installed a humidifier outside the tent, set to 55% aiming for a 60% humidity inside the dry tent. 17-6 After 10 days of drying she is ready to be trimmed. While posting this a couple of months later i found out that i totally forgot to make pictures and video's of the trimmed buds 馃槄 End result #1: 37 Grams of dried buds. 35.84 Grams of dried trim and very small buds, into the freezer. I would describe pheno 1 as normal frosty, almost stone like buds, smells chemical with hints of dish soap (i really like it!) I cant describe the taste but it was very tasty out of the box, before the cure, very sad i only had 37 grams of it haha. End result #2: Around 70 grams of dried buds. 43.23 Grams of dried trim and small buds, into the freezer for bubble hash. I would describe pheno 2 as very frosty buds, little bit fluffy, smells very gassy, with a nice sour taste after curing a couple of months. Very interesting strain, i will definitely grow it again! I have some trim and small buds saved up from different strains and i will be posting a diary of the full process making hash of them! If you are interested in me making bubble hash feel free to follow me as i will make some in the next month, this way you keep notified!

The LST really opened up the girls and helped them to increase volume. During the week PE finally got some more training, it feels like she opened up nicely. It is not very comfortable to grow 2 plants in a 60*60cm tent.

Hello and welcome to week 8, the second week of 12/12 for Her Royal Highness Queen Citronella. As you can see she is chafing at the lack of space. She wants to keep growing. I am looking for a 3x3 to solve this. Day 50: Fertigated 6l. Day 53: Height 33cm Width 70cm Depth 70cm - clear signs of flowering today. Fertigated 4l. Day 54: It's getting difficult to get her in and out safely as she is now bigger than the tent door. Day 55: Stretching fast now. 38cm x 60cm x 60cm the latter two being severely limited by the tent size. Day 56: End of week 2 since flipping. Preflower period ending and flowering proper begins. Approximately ten weeks to go. Citronella is really impressive and smells very citrus. All of her foliage smells if you touch it. I do not know if this little tent can contain her. I have some major concerns about this grow due to some real life complications.

馃槏 shes actually very close to done, i might even harvest her tmr, if not then probably the next day, saw alot of milky with the odd amber today! She is also stankin nice a lovely. She has a little more flower than i expected to be honest, which still isnt very much but i'm pleased for the first outdoor grow. That is if she smokes as nice as she smells. I see a moderate amount of trichs, not like the tent but still nice and sugary. Next post should be the harvest report! I think i'll toss out a dried guess of 18 grams and its gonna be a little fluffy

I saw lots of development this week. I've top dressed with bat guano and alfalfa meal this grow to fortify the soil. They seem to like the advanced nutrients so far as well. It's getting a little smelly in the tent馃挭馃従

Blue Dream Xtreme is still the biggest in the run. Growing well. I did some root pruning early week. Cut off the long root tails. I should of done that in beginning, and aimed for a furry root basket. Learning new stuff all the time. I am growing her in a New Level Hydro bucket, under the Spider Farmer SE5000 light at 60 percent currently. At the and of the week all lST supporting thenfs were removed: canopy is formed and all the stems are hardened. The progress is very slow, but I like how the plant looks, it seems to be healthy and has more flowering points than I've seen on any autos I grew before. I also adjusted the fertilizers ratios to get more optimal for flowering stage and added pH-down to improve the solution assimilation.

Week 10 started, I'm a little bit worried about the leaves which are turning yellow, is this normally because the plants are approaching their final weeks or could be something else? I'm also wondering when to start to flush, any idea? 馃榿 馃尡馃崄馃崅

Slow but sure. Graveyards are full of men who thought they had more time. Discipline is brutal, but regret will break you. Be present. Plants constantly monitor their C and N status, and imbalances or deficiencies at the cellular level trigger complex signaling pathways (such as the SnRK1 and TOR pathways) that lead to increased autophagic activity. Production (Nitrification): Ammonia (from decomposition or fixa蓹tion) is converted into nitrites and then nitrates by nitrifying bacteria in the soil under aerobic (oxygen-rich) conditions. Consumption (Assimilation): Plants absorb nitrates from the soil and water to produce proteins and DNA. Removal (Denitrification): In anaerobic (low-oxygen) environments like waterlogged soils, wetlands, and lake sediments, denitrifying bacteria use the oxygen in nitrate as an energy source, converting it into nitrogen gas N2 and nitrous oxide N2O, which return to the atmosphere.

I really enjoyed this strain to grow, did a little mistake and flipped them to 12/12 too early (I anticipated too much the stretch and with the mainlining technique, stretch was not that bigger). Amazing smell, full of trichomes. And probably next time I won't use the tabs from biotabs because you can't really control how much nutriments your plant will have, but the others products from biotabs worked really well!

This was an easy ride, taste and outcome was very satisfactory, the taste was a bit different than i was used to, i think the chicken fertilizer did something special... the smoke was awesome, very sweet and a bit sugar tasting here and there (i used molasses in the end as sugar booster)0

I did a lot of defoliation work this week. Plants look very naked now. 馃樆 But more light for the buds 馃槢 = Less leaves = less water (-25%) The plants don't make many few new flowers anymore. Plants have nice fat buds, swelling and getting hard. 馃挭 Pistils turn brown.

Jelly Bananen was the strain I was looking forward to the most. There wasn't much information on it when I initially ordered the seeds, but I was intrigued by the breeder's description nonetheless and decided to give it a shot. In flowering, there were two incidents where the light schedule was interrupted unexpectedly. In response, the plant started to produce "nanners". Ironically, Jelly Bananen was the only plant in the garden to do this. I produced 88g of dry weight, not knowing what to expect on the scales. I'm sure that 88g on one plant is probably pretty bad, but it should only get better from harvest to harvest, am I right? Will be coming back to this strain again in the future, once I have a few harvests in the books. 馃檶

the bud formation is ridiculous. they are getting so damn frosty and smell amazing. the buds are already bigger than last year when i was still experimenting a lot. i'm really checking the plants daily for budrot and other pests or problems but still not a thing. let's keep it like this. some branches are beginning to hang a little bit so i'm going to support them a bit more. i have the feeling that the plants really enjoy the molasses additive to the soil since i have not been seeing that much yellow leaves turn up lately.

Another week of things going well! I dialed in my automated watering system by sealing the port where the 1/2in tube connects with the output outlet with an FDA approved silicone gel. Wanted to get the FDA sealant since anything else would leak chemicals into the watering reservoir. Tested and no leaks detected! I also found out that there are these sweet quick connectors you can get from Amazon. The nice thing about this is that it makes my watering system modular. I can disconnect the tube feeding into the tent by pushing the quick connect tab and addressing the bucket without dealing with tedious connects and disconnects. All I need to do when I鈥檓 ready to reconnect the bucket, I just push the line from the bucket into the quick connector. Additionally, I started using .25 ml (25%) of compost tea along with .25ml (25%) of silica. I think I will need to up the dose next week to 50% strength for both. I will do a transfer to the 1 gal pot in 2 weeks!
