There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Welcome to my FastBuds GSC grow-off diary! I plan on growing 2 seeds from the same package - one using a 950ml Gatorade bottle dwc system, and the other sharing a 64L reservior DWC. I'll grow them both while trying to be as simiar in techique as i can, but i'm more interested in how the 950ml does, so might not be super picky about doing things exactly the same, heh. I'm making this all up as I go! Enjoy the ride! Week 0 ====== Day 0.1 - 2 seeds in water for 24hrs Day 0.2- 2 Seeds in wet paper towel, in a plastic bag for 24-48hrs until taproot is out Day 0.3 - 24hrs later - one seed has sprouted a tail Day 0.4 - 2nd seed sprouted tail; put both seeds into rockwool Day 0.5 - 1st seed sprouted from rockwool Day 0.6 - 1st seed doing well, 2nd seed no change Day 0.7 - Checked 2nd seed and hasn't budged, so it's a dud. Started a new seed (had 3 GSC, so all good!) Day 0.8 - 1st seed into the 1L DWC bottle! Day 0.10 - 3rd seed germinated - into rockwool to sprout. DWC Prototype ----------------- - 950ml Gatorade Bottle - 2x small air stones - 1/2" overflow tube where i want the water level to be - Nutrient top-feed line The reservoir below is 19L (~15L of solution) with a small 80gph water pump on lowest setting, which will be on a timer for 15 mins every 3 hours (at first - we'll see how that goes). The water pumps nutrient solution up to the Gatorade bottle and the overflow goes back down into the reservoir.

She'll be the 1st to harvest. She looks to only have a week left if that?...

🌴WEEK 6 DAY 1 VEG🌴 As you can see after defolitating some leaves to expose lower shoots to light worked out perfectly as she back with a full canopy and most lower shoots have had chance to reach the same hieght as others along with some lst & tucking with her rapidly growing new shoots and leaves tells me shes happy but i am seing a few of symptoms allong the way which i have posted (images) below I find these odd rust looking brown marks on my plant i also had found 1 leaf that looked asif it had been eaten at with this browning close by, i belive it is not pest as i have tried to inspect as best as i can and i do not see anything but i havent checked with microscope :( but im sure its not pest related another thing along my journey that hasnt been exactly how i expected is run off, im week 6 day 1 shes growing fast and seems happy im giving 3L of water at 608ppms with a ph of 5.5 allowing the coco to slightly dry before watering again when i check my run off ppms its way lower today i gave 608ppms it came out at 180ppms WTF :( if anyone read this far if you know your stuff could you possibly help me out take a look at my photos/videos and let me know what you think of my plant.. is she looking healthy.? do you know what these small problems could be? thankyou, Lets Grow!

Hello Bros&Sis! Ciao!😊 this time I've decided to made a video update, from the start of the week to the finish, we're gonna see some BIG differences! (The longest is from the end) About the ladies: Girls in coco Royal AK- she's drinking every single drop op solution and has literally exploded! I'm really happy about her training (top/lst/hst). A very strong strain. OG Kush- I don't get this girl, she's definitely not an heavy drinker. Speedy Chile FF- when I re-potted her into 6lt pot, some of my Bros hoped for a Baobab, what do you think?😂 (has some mutations, has a growth of 3 leaves and then 2 branches have joined together and the other has grown normally) Ladies in Soil: UK Cheese auto- I've broke a branch due to heavy crop. Lesson learned. Pink Doc CBD auto- she's growing good, finally! The only thing I'm worried about is that she will not grow so much, because switch is near. Candy Kush Express- A really nice lady, not too tall, good side branches and she take everything with no care less (one of the most "broken" in the tent) Special Kush#1- She likes her new pot, but there's something wrong (see leaves) maybe related to VPD or RU? I've used different techniques on this ladies, but the one I like the most is cropping the branches and the main stems and also broke the branches where meets the stems, to give'em more power, and more "space" for nutrients transports in sight of bloom! That's all mate, we will see soon for the next update! Ya estamos en plena floración y con las luminarias a max potencia... Evidentemente el aire acondicionado también está trabajando durante la fase de encendido. Flowa-Bloom es la estrella de los nutrientes a incorporar, pero todos son importantes... Así que sigo la tabla de fertilización de JUJU Royal al pie de la letra. Eso si, primero humedezco bien el sustrato con agua, para aprovechar bien la solución con los nutrientes y que no filtre por las macetas textiles. Riego cada cuatro días.

They're coming along really quickly they're on week 2, the custom strain I have in here I crossed the sherb tree from the plug with EL chapo and this plant looks amazing and smells like cherry refreshers platinum Z is also looking very nice with a lovely sweet watermelon with a hint of diesel and they really do stink even though they are weak 2 getting excited already haha, they all look very good so far,, I did have 25 but a few of them looked quite sick and a few abnormalities and they really didn't like the feed I was given them so the one's got eliminated and I am now left with 15 of the ones I like, this small room is just for my testers before putting them in main room, the LED that is running is lumatek zeus 600 pro, this is my first try with LEDs I've always been HPS but I'm definitely turning my head towards them as these ones are shooting up and look very healthy, once this run is done if I feel that it comes out better with LED I will swap out all 6 lights in the main room and replace them with 4 LEDs, I have some sherb tree x meringue from Dutch passion, running concurrent I will try and get another diary going with them they are awesome. Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , this grill really has grown right out this week and is unrecognisable from the plant just a few days ago , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Going into week 4. After. A transplant and at the end of week 3 they have seemed to recovered and are doing great. I’ve noticed that they “pray” towards the light so they seem to be happy. Using 1ml of cal mag. When I water. Ph. 6.1 -6.3 of 90%RO 10% tap. Added the second mars hydro on day 25. Update last day of week 4 day 28. The ladies ain't looking too happy. Being hit by I imagine Cal mag deficiency. Even tho I was expecting it because of the RO water. It seems I didn't add the Cal mag fast enough. Hopefully.the 2ml/L or Cal mag. Will fix it. Last watered 250ml each of PH 6.2 water on 8/28

Guten Morgen Freunde, wir befinden uns am Ende der Woche 3. Morgen beginnt Woche 4, die Pflanzen entwickeln sich prächtig und reagieren top auf mein LST Training. Ich gieße ca alle 4-5 Tage mit 650ml wasser, den EC Wert passe ich auf ca 950ms/cm an und den PH Wert regle ich auf ca 6.0-6.3. Die lichtleistung liegt bei 450umol/m²/s. Ich wünsche allen einen schönen Sonntag und bis nächste Woche :D

I put a net in to try to get a more even canopy and utilise the space of the tent. It didnt really work too well though. I ended up only leaving it in for periods as i found it really annoying to water and manage devices in the tent with the net in.

Been MIA for awhile but here’s the update on these girls. Two chem brulee, one northern lights, and one 5150 made it into the flower tent. I gave the spice cut and Runtz to a buddy. The chem brulee is on the left and northern lights is the front right of the picture. Duuude this chem is a crazy grower. I took some cuts and got 3 clones ready to go for the next run. The stem on one of them is a quarter thick. 3 gallon pots, used a lot more silica this run and it’s showing. Think I ran out of nitrogen last harvest so adding bay guano to the tea this flower. Wish me luck 🤙🏻

Pictures are from Day 91. Top Gun 2 is coming to the finish line, the whole tent reeks and starting to see good amounts of amber, although the buds aren’t as solid as I was hoping for. I could harvest as soon as today. This grow has been another great experience of learning about these awesome plants. Sooooo this has been an amazing and exciting week! Ive been patient with this last plant and really checking the trichomes i inly wanted a few amber caps on the nugs, was looking for milky on this one! Shes smelling amazing and the color change was such a sight to see! She did so well with the nutrients and loved the 2 week flush i did! I cut her down did a wet trim and have em in the drying rack! Im excited to see how she cures and drys ready for the smoke reveal!
