Both plants still vigorous and healthy this week, accelerating along. Each plant is starting to show subtle differences in the flowering stage. Gave each a mini defoliation for the final time mid week. I also added the final ingredient in the nutrient mix in the end of week feed, GREEN SENSATION! So far the nutrients have been superb, think i’ll stay with them after this grow. Some really cool frosting going on 😎

Week 6 This Lady is up to 8 tops😎. Now I just have to get each top in the right locations at which point I’ll let them get a few nodes taller and then flip. This Lady is growing a little slower than her roommate (A Mimosa EVO) so I left a few extra fan leaves on her in the hopes that will speed her up a bit. I have noticed that this plant seems to throw the two main branches at a node but it also throws out additional branches. I’ve had a plant do this before and in my experience it makes the buds denser. We will see how it goes with this lady. Cooler internals are: 6.0 pH 0.4 EC 56 F solution temp. I can’t wait to flip the tent !!!! 🔥🔥 Onward 😎🍻

I received my Mars Hydro lights and they helped a lot. 2 TS-1000's. I supper cropped some of the 12/12 from seed and it looks like something trampled through the garden. Lol. The rest are really stretching now. I hope I the larger ones don't get rootbound. 🤞😁😁😁

9/21: I harvested 2 more of the #4's, and my 3 hybrid autos last night. After washing them, I hung them to dry in a room with very little airflow and average temperature of around 78f-80f. The humidity has been pretty high, so hopefully they dry slowly. After 4 days of hanging to dry, I've been alternating the first #4 that I harvested between a brown paper bag and a 1 gallon jar every day to slow the drying process and will probably do the same with these 5 plants. 9/22: I fed the 4 x #2's, flushed the 4 x #10's, and watered the remaining 2 x #4's and the 2 x #3's with some liquid soil only. They're pretty much ripe and ready, but they'll have to wait another day or two until I have some time to spare. 9/23: I harvested the last 2 x #4's and one of the #3's today. Buds washed and hung to dry- 9/25: ...late night and early the 26th.. Harvested all 4 of the #10's and the last #3. Yowsa, those #10 buds are heavy and sticky! I moved the last 4 plants into my tiny tent..all the #2's. For their last week, they're gonna be about a foot underneath 360w of quantum boards in roughly 5 square feet of space (36" x 20"), which breaks down to about 72w/sq ft, so I'm venting my bigger CO2 bucket into the tiny tent for the next week.

Day 107 Flower day 51 - Have been flushing for about a week now, was trying to pull another week but I couldn’t keep 2 of them from falling over so I decided to chop them this morning! Will be letting the 3rd one go atleast another week or too & I will compare the differences after cure! Make sure to check back for more updates, thanks for following & happy growing friends🙏🏼🌱✌️🏼

Still fighting the heat, added a stronger bottom vent, managed to stabilize the temp to 25C. Relative Humidity is still a bit high, specially when opening the tent in the morning and at nighttime. AC working strong. Started taking PH measurements, though not very accurately (chem test). Apparently my mix of 2:1 Brita/tap water was good, the water in the tap is very alkaline (>8), the filter reduces the PH nicely. I read that Brita also filters out CalMag, so I've added a little boost. I'll stop using the greengro nutrient next week, I think it's Nitrogen level is too high. I received Johnny Green's Greengro in a grow deal, the other nutrients (except CalMag) are from the same line.

The flowers really started to show this week. Still looking healthy. I ran out of the biobizz grow feed this week so hopefully don't need any more of that.

Woche 14 – Urlaub? Die Buddha kennt das Wort nicht. 🌴🌿 Eigentlich sollte diese Woche ganz entspannt werden. Koffer gepackt, 10 Tage Türkei, Sonne, Meer und abschalten. Zumindest für mich. Meine Laughing Buddha hatte da allerdings ganz andere Pläne. 😄 Bevor es losging, bekam sie noch einmal 8 Liter Wasser, der 40-Liter-Topf wurde zuvor noch mit frischer Erde aufgefüllt und anschließend hieß es: “Bis in zehn Tagen.” Zum Glück hängt inzwischen eine Kamera im Growroom. So kann ich jeden Tag kurz nach dem Rechten sehen. Es ist schon verrückt, wie beruhigend so eine kleine Kamera sein kann, wenn man hunderte Kilometer entfernt am Pool sitzt. 😅 Da ich diese Woche natürlich keine Fotos machen konnte, gibt es diesmal einen kleinen Zeitraffer der Hobbit-Cam, damit ihr trotzdem verfolgen könnt, wie sich die Lady in meiner Abwesenheit entwickelt. 📹🌿 ⸻ Das zweite Netz erwacht zum Leben Eigentlich hatte ich gehofft, dass die Triebe während meines Urlaubs langsam bis zum zweiten Netz wachsen. Die Buddha hatte offenbar andere Vorstellungen. Schon wenige Tage nach meiner Abreise schoben sich die ersten Spitzen durch das obere Netz. Mit jedem weiteren Tag kamen neue dazu. Genau so hatte ich mir das vorgestellt. Ich wollte vor dem Urlaub bewusst nicht noch einmal trainieren oder auslichten. Die Pflanze sollte einfach wachsen dürfen – ohne zusätzlichen Stress. Im Nachhinein war das genau die richtige Entscheidung. Die Triebe entwickeln sich gleichmäßig, die Höhe bleibt erstaunlich homogen und die Fläche wird immer geschlossener. Genau diese gleichmäßige Krone wird mir nach dem Urlaub das Verteilen im zweiten Netz deutlich erleichtern. ⸻ Grow aus der Ferne Es fühlt sich immer noch etwas ungewohnt an, einen Grow komplett aus der Ferne zu begleiten. Normalerweise stehe ich täglich im Growroom, kontrolliere jede Spitze und freue mich über jeden Zentimeter Wachstum. Dieses Mal bleibt mir nur der Blick auf die Kamera – und genau das macht dieses Update irgendwie besonders. Umso schöner ist es zu sehen, dass die Buddha ihren eigenen Plan verfolgt und offensichtlich bestens zurechtkommt. ⸻ Wie geht es weiter? Noch ein paar Tage Urlaub. Bis dahin heißt es für die Buddha nur eines: Wachsen. Nach meiner Rückkehr wartet dann der wahrscheinlich spannendste Abschnitt der gesamten Vegetationsphase: * alle Triebe sauber im zweiten Netz verteilen, * unterhalb gründlich auslichten, * der Pflanze ein paar Tage Erholung gönnen * und anschließend endlich den Wechsel in die Blüte einleiten. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass sich die vielen kleinen Entscheidungen der letzten Wochen langsam auszahlen. Und wenn ich die Entwicklung über die Kamera sehe, freue ich mich jetzt schon darauf, die Tür zum Growroom wieder zu öffnen. Ich glaube, die Laughing Buddha nutzt meinen Urlaub mindestens genauso gut wie ich. 🍀🌿

Servus Moin! Die Blucci OG bekommt langsam richtig Farbe! Die Blätter fangen an interessante Lila-Färbungen zu bekommen. Heute wurde aber entlaubt, deswegen sieht man nicht mehr ganz so viele von den Blättern. Die Buds fangen auch langsam an richtig auszuhärten.

GSC is a small bonsai in full form. The leaves are very green and in health the flowering phase has begun, the trunk is swelling to be able to hold tasty and fragrant buds.

She’s a beast! As bushy as my gold glue from last round but 3x the heigh and size. I’ve had to go in for defol every week, and she’s still filling back up by the minute. A vast majority of the bracts are beginning to turn purple at the tips, leading me to believe this girl might turn purple before she’s done! Smells like sweet fruit and skunky cologne. Starting to fade here and there, so I’m increasing feed strength to mid-flower and letting her ride it out.

Did a final defoliation on today day 21, not quite as full canopy compared to normal but wanted this chamber freed up for some new genetics so the plants had only a weeks veg.

Its now week 3 of flower and the budsides are growing and showing their beauty and smell and at the end of the week is lollipopping on the Menu. There aren't any signes of lacks in nutrients. I found one yellowish leave but I'm pretty sure that was my fault for leaving the Soil a little bit to dry for some days.

What a trip with these Monster Zkittlez. We have almost reached the end, going through many fears we are reaching excellent results for real. I have three young ladies planted one before and two more after 10 days to test the right vegetative times. The first was worked with very aggressive LST and now I dominate many weeks of flowering is fantastic. They are putting all of them very much but they are filling up really well except one that seems lost and is not bad. In fact, the two smaller ones were also low stressed and treated with an aggressive pruning to keep only a big main cola and something lateral. One has filled very well another is filling less and very slowly but still with dignity, I gave it up for lost but even the ugliest is not bad. The big has some scary banana. The frozen speaks for itself sugar dripping from everywhere early harverst next weekend

Here’s a quick recap so you know exactly how we got here: 🌱 Quick Recap From Seed to Now – Two Permanent Marker phenos grew from seed into two completely different personalities: • Pheno #1 — “Aiming for the Moon”: a tower of beauty, stretching past 2 meters, expressive, colorful, loud. • Pheno #2 — “The Compact Queen”: sturdy, dense, bushy, disciplined, with deep greens and beautiful structure. – Both were grown in Aptus organic super soil style, with minimal liquid inputs — just Regulator, Top Booster, and the occasional CalMag. – From week 3 of flower onward, we saw the divergence: stretch vs compactness, height vs density, color vs deep green gloss. – Conditions were challenging (hot summer, fluctuating humidity), but with airflow, careful irrigation, and inner canopy lighting, the garden thrived. – Now we arrive at week 8 flower — the week where everything becomes obvious. The structure, the scent, the resin… this is where Permanent Marker starts telling her story. 🌿 Week 8 Flower — The Week of Truth This is an important week. One of those weeks where the plant stops building and starts finishing. 💥 Bulking Mode Activated Both phenos are packing on weight — visibly, daily. The buds are: – swelling – stacking – becoming denser – pushing calyxes outward – and bathing in trichomes The flower-room smell is now borderline illegal — loud, sticky, sharp, with that signature Permanent Marker funk rising stronger day by day. 🎨 Colors Coming Alive Our tall mama — the one reaching for the moon — is showing magnificent colors: – deep reds – purples – warm fades – cool gradients across sugar leaves This is likely a mix of genetics + low-nutrient organic finish + light intensity + heat swings. A wonderful recipe for anthocyanins to express themselves. ✨ Frost Everywhere Trichomes are exploding on both phenos: – mushroom heads – milky stalks – resin layering onto resin – sugar leaves looking powdered This is the week where terpenoids and flavonoids start reaching their peak volumes — the week where you know harvest is close because the plant smells like she wants to climb into your nose and live there. 🔥 Light Spectrum Love — And the Inner Canopy Glow Let’s give a moment of appreciation to Future of Grow’s Black Series and the ICL inner canopy lighting. These girls are LOVING the spectrum: – deeper penetration – reduced shading – even lower branch development – trichomes forming even in hidden zones – colors enhanced naturally It truly shows what proper spectrum distribution can do — especially late in flower. 🌡️ Conditions — Hot, Humid, and Still Thriving Despite summer conditions trying to sabotage everything: – the plants stayed strong – no PM – no bud rot – no stress signals except the harmless light-tipped albinoing on the top cola of Pheno #1 (beautiful, by the way) This week we maintained: – Temp: high but manageable – Humidity: under control – Airflow: strong and essential – Irrigation: consistent and organic The girls took it all like champions. 🔍 The Final Stretch — What Week 8 Means This is the week where you start to ask the true questions:Are we close? Yes. Very. Is it time to flush? Not on full organic super soil — you simply let the plant finish naturally. One week or two? Depends on trichomes: – Clear → needs time – Milky → soon – Amber → harvest window opens Right now it feels like: 👉 1–2 weeks maximum But she will tell us.
