Day 43
Refreshed the tank today. pH was reading at 5.5 so seems like she is mostly drinking the water and not really the nutrients..I think. she's drinking a lot so the nutrients get a lot more concentrated. Gonna have to keep an eye on that. Think it's good that I switch to a schedule now of replacing the water reservoir twice a week now. Also checked PPFD, the top canopy is getting about 620 PPFD.
Day 44
Flowers are starting to set in nicely. She is drinking a lot right now, have to top up the 4 liter reservoir every day now it seems. pH went up to 6.4, so brought it back down to 6.0 now.
Day 45
She had another big stretch over night. I've raised the light a bit as she was getting close to it now and I don't wanna overstress her. She is still drinking a lot, topped up the reservoir with another 1.3 liters of ph 6.0 water. Will be doing a full water change tomorrow.
Day 46
Fully renewed the water today with new nutrients, I did put in a bit less of each nutrient this time, I'm seeing some minor leaf tip burn starting to happen. Seems to correlate with the higher bloom nutrient dose, so I will dial that a bit down from now on. Removed some fan leaves on the fastest growing stems also to slow them down a bit, a lot of the smaller stems are starting to catch up nicely now.
Day 47
Had to top up with 1.5 liters of water, she is definitely drinking even more now...after adding the water (6.0 pH) the pH was 6.1. She is still growing a lot as well, especially those side stems are catching up to the top of the canopy. I should probably do some lollipopping soon.
Day 48
Ph was down to 5.8 today, had to top up the water again with 1.5 liter of 6.0 pH water, which brought the pH up to 5.9. She is still stretching quite a bit right now. Also did my first defoliation today, I removed a ton of leaves but it looks like barely anything was removed because there so much foliage 😅.
Day 49
pH got down to 5.7 today. It keeps surprising me to see how much she drinks in one day. Was able to top up the bucket with almost 2 liters again. Made the water 6.1 pH which brought the pH in the bucket back up to 5.9.

I’m not sure since this is my first grow but the young ladies seem to be doing fine and growing daily. Today is day 7 from sprouting and they are forming new nodes. Both plants look similar but the Jack Herer is slightly taller.

Week 9 flower is coming to an end and the Sour Diesel still has about a week to go. I could chop it down now with no complaints I think, the heads are mostly cloudy, no amber, but I’d like these foxtail like growths to fill out, if possible, now that they popped out. Think I had the light intensity to high and far along into flower and that’s why the GG#4 had a few nanners pop late, just displayed the stress in different ways, but what the hell do I know lol 😂. Flowers seem hard and dense but look a little weird with foxtails and the tips are stretched strangely and can see a bit of the centre stalk on a few lower and further from the light. The foxtail growth is also happening lower down as well which makes me think genetics, I dunno? Stripped most the large leaves that I could easily get at and just watering still letting the soil stay a bit on the dryer side, but consistent. Steadily lowering the humidity the best I can and manage, but it’s a bit difficult as I took down the humidifier to clean and get ready for harvest and got the dehumidifier going, but got another cold snap coming through and it’s dry outside and the house heat is running, don’t have a clean filter for the humidifier now, trying to get it right, right to the end, but Mother Nature is making my unnatural grow difficult lol. Tenemos 3 fenos diferentes 2 de ellos muy marcados cada 1 de un parental de la versión no auto de Triton Biscotto Lime, como son Lemon Tree 🍋 [olor a SLH exagerado, (la más rapida)] y OreoMintz 🍪 [olor muy fuerte(la más "bajita" pero más avanzada en floración)] el último feno Kush más terroso proveniente de la Panty Punch Auto 👊(la más fina de momento)
En general encantado y asombrado con el desarrollo de las 3, llevan poda de bajos en los 2 primeros nudos y limpieza de internudos y chuponas interiores en la parte baja 🍃

🗓️ Week 11 – Flower Week 7 ✅
Things got interesting this week:
After raising the input EC to 2.0, the runoff jumped to 2.2–2.6 EC – a clear sign of salt saturation in the medium ⚠️
pH remained stable at 6.2–6.3, and no visible signs of overfeeding so far.
Starting next watering, I’ll reduce the input to 1.6–1.7 EC to restore balance between uptake and residuals in the substrate 🌱
Despite the spike, Cherry MAC Muffin is handling it well – no signs of stress or lockout.
The buds are getting noticeably frostier and denser, resin production is in full swing ❄️🔥

Day#37 update: i finally made her beg for her water . The way all her leaves are hanging at a downward angle , then in the 1st video if you look you can see her “drooping” leaves begin to “pray” stand themselves back up. O watered her to run off then did a life-medium defoliation instead of a super heavy one like I planned and then I “ponytailed” each of her main tops to allow the other nodes to become strong to produce more branching .
Day#40Update: the re-growth from defoliating & pony tailing has been decent . On one or two she’s trying her hardest to break out of the tie. I’ll release her from the ponytails later today & we’ll see where we are in two days for day #42 week 6
The plan is still to top all her main tops after untying the ponytails .
Day#42 Update : end of week #6 she’s growing so evenly and well that I ru still don’t see a benefit in topping. These lateral sode branches are growing for what they know .
She’s a squat plant for sure but man is she full. She’s been in this one gallon since day #9 so it’s been 33 days she should be asking for food soon . I’m debating on top dressing her in the one gallon or up-potting during a transplant for her . Part of me wants to skip forward straight to a 6gall pot but part of me is saying to “punish” her a little more and leave her in this pot a few more weeks .

Ran into sulfur and phosphorus deficiency week 7. Added the small scoop beastie blooms and like an 1/8 tsp of silver bullet sulfur terp enhancer. Still running about 9ml per gallon at 5.8 possible hydrogen.. AC motor went out on one of the ac’s, will have it fixed by Wednesday been cooler temps and storms lately so been okay.

7/7 Grow diaries isnt letting me post a harvest week. So heres a little teaser. 65 grams dry. 2ounces 9. kaprikorns website says this is a low yielding plant. i cannot fathom what their high yeilding plants will do. this cultivar was only 12 inches from the soil line. i trained her fairly intensely but it was worth it. not much larf and the main nugs are nice and uniform. if you didnt train this plant, i can see how it wouldnt really yield much.

La purple haze était vraiment plaisante à cultiver. Une des deux a eu un problème dès le début de croissance, et malgré tout, j'ai réussi à l'envoyer en floraison. Cela montre bien que les variétés de zamnesia sont très bien pour les débutants, elles sont très résistantes. La haze était de taille moyenne. Une odeur très épicée et terreuse, un vrai plaisir au nez. On voit bien que c'est une sativa, elle provoque de grosses crises de fou rire, la première fois que j'ai tiré dessus j'ai tiré trois taf et j'ai rigolé pendant 30 minutes, complètement incroyable. Très cérébrale, pleins d'idées qui nous passent par la tête, elle rend très énergique et n'a pas d'effet de détente sur le corps. Ne pas fumer en soirée avant d'aller dormir, plutôt en après-midi, j'ai beaucoup de mal à dormir si je l'utilise en début de soirée. Attention tout de même, elle provoque pas mal de parano je trouve, typique d'une sativa. En tout cas excellente variété pour aller marcher et profiter d'une belle après-midi. J'ai optenu 45g et 30g en sachant que j'ai eu pas mal de problèmes.

The plant Is thriving, the buds are starting to pump up. She's really thirsty and i think this dosage of fertilizer Is perfect. Two weeks from now i will use only the ripen, by now she's brilliant.

All appeared well with this Lady until yesterday 🤦♂️🤷♂️
I noticed a small discoloured patch on one of the top buds, it had the start of what appeared to be bud rot 😿
Asked a couple of mates their opinion and we’ve all come to the same conclusion.
I’ve checked the rest of the plant and can’t see any signs of any more. She’s meant to be coming down in 7 days, but that may have to be pushed forward.
I’ve bought some more fans (5 to be precise) they should arrive today, so hopefully that should help. I’ve needed to upgrade my fans for a while, wish I’d sorted it out sooner.
I’ve added a video at the end showing the bud in question.

Not much to report. Checked my trichomes with a jeweler's loop and most were still very much clear with very few cloudy on my most furthest advanced plant so it appears I still have some time left. More details in video.
