FD22 - So...ummm... I forgot to update this diary for days. I even forgot to take pics today before the lights were out, so I quickly opened the tent and snapped a terrible picture. lol We're off into the fourth week of flower, and the girls are rocking it in the tent. They. Smell. AMAZING! They are the best smelling plants that I have ever grown. It's a pure joy to open the tent. FD23 - Took a bunch of pics FD24 - Watered each girl with 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.3, with 50 ml of EM-1. FD28 - The end of yet another week and not much to report. I did deploy Green Lacewing larvae to combat the thrips since the predatory mites weren't up to the task.

7/26: Last defoliation for about 4 weeks. Looking good and thick. LST is basically over and I'm going to let this plant do what it wants from here on out. I pulled some stems away a tad more so they grow out of any shadows. Bam! 7/27: Added my Google Home Mini so the girls can listen to classical all day long. 7/28: Pistils are tiny on plant 1, but the other 2 are growing rapidly. 7/29: Ordered a 600w ViparSpectra to add to the grow tent, can't wait. Also ordered some sticky traps. The gnats are not really affecting the plant, (never enough to cause major problems) but I just hate them. They seem to be coming from my shop-Vac (for run-off). I let it dry out, as it never stays full of water. I assume they are attracted to it regardless because of the moisture. I have now moved the shop vac further away from the grow tent and will have sticky traps installed 7/30. 7/30: Day 33. Going well. They love Mozart. Pistils FINALLY on every plant. 7/31: Got the new 600w ViparSpectra in, it's bright... this was a good idea. 600w @ 24inches, 450w @ 20inches 8/1: Pistils on all plants. Pre-flower stretch is real. The new light changed everything. Plant 1 taking half a gallon now.

4/28 Day 35 I wish this plant was bigger. Could be my fault. Her transition to flower was at such an odd time(3weeks) and that’s when her last feeding was coming to an end but should I give her flower nutes early? Do half an half? Or just wait and then give flower? I waited and I shouldn’t have considering that organic inputs take time to feed your plants. Depending on what you’re using. First time trying Gaia green. I do like the ease of it but it would take some adjustments for me to utilize it best. A month between feeding is too long for my impatient ass and it gives me too long of a commitment to not fuck up. I’m also using roots organics with some other plants and I’m really liking the weekly feedings. It makes more sense than a month. What if I have a strain that’s like 10 week flower? Do I just do another dose at week 7 and 8 and then because it’s “organic you don’t need to flush” thing. Probably over thinking it but yeah here’s my plant yall 😂

At this point I have 15 gal pots ready for the coco açaí to be transplanted into being inoculated with microbes allowing them to colonize a few weeks before the transplant. This weeks lst and hst techniques have been applied and will be implemented threw out the grow.

It's been another easy week in the Fastbuds tent. I've spent most my energy preparing my outdoor grow space for a wild summer. At this point, there's not much I can do except water and watch my plants grow. I've added videos of other plants in relations to the mimosa cake just for visual aid. I also added a photo of my cheese auto.. it's still drying! With the Mimosa cake auto I've been taking fan leaves off slowly for weeks now. This is a very busy plant. She is also going to run later than I expected. She's on day 76 and I suspect 95 to 100 days to finish time. I'll have to keel feeding her bloom nutes for the next few weeks; her 3 gallon bucket ran out of nutrients already. Feeding schedule: water, feed, water, feed Step 1- I'll take an aeration stone and use it to remove the chlorine residual in the water... this only takes 8 - 12 hours depending on water temperature. (I'm a water treatment process operator, I have checked several times in the past with my own Cl2 meters). Step 2 - add Calmag Step 3- add bloom nutes Final step - pH the water accordingly (very important that this is final step) A TDS residual of 500 ppm equals roughly 1 E.C. (I just double it)

She completed the first week of flowering happily and she keeps stretching. Trailers net added to level the canopies.

Growing great in week 8 day 2 bloom fed her the last time going to do winter frost and straight water out the gate I started supplementing phosphorus and it fatned them buds up some these girls are heavy eaters

Got a bottle of Biotonex from the nice folks @Cannaboom, the promised shorter internodial distance actualy shows, as far as i can tell at this point Plants started smelling realy nice and sweet

Very Happy plants, soaking up the rays. When you place your face near the buds you get an amazing sweet fruity aroma, the leaves smell like skunk and cheese. Each plant is getting 10 liters every 4 days. I water with 6.3ph tap water twice for every time I add nutrients. I use Alaska fish fertilizer when its been a few times since a nutrient feed but the plants are showing no deficiency's. They are Fed by a drip system which takes 16 hours to deliver the 10 liters to each plant, this works really well in the Fabric smart pots. I use metal racks to keep the plants off the ground then place a drip tray underneath each plant. When using the drip system very little run off occurs. I added a spider farmer sf-1000 to the room, it is full spectrum and ir, and is great for getting the corners of the room or the less dense areas of the canopy.

( Argh ein winziges grünes Blatt. Eines! Ihr dürft gerne selber suchen.) ... ( allerdings, die Riecht guhhht, das ist richtig) Und stark, also stärker als diese Sorte sonst riecht. Ich kenne sie.

Back with the Lemons, Thanks for coming by! Day 44 - Height: LP#1 @ 36" / LP#2 @ 33" The Lemons move into week 7. They have a fantastic smell now! The scent in the room is a sugary, sweet citrus backed up by a spicy black pepper. I pruned off the lower leaves that were turning yellow, many of them were squashed and bent from the walls anyway and some were actually hanging off where they've been pushed about a bit in the space, but it's all good. The buds on LP#2 are really tightening up now, but they're really making the buds on LP#1 look a bit leggy, especially the buds on the side stems. In terms of issues, there is some pretty serious light bleaching going on in the tips of the leaves, but what's done is done, so I'll have to keep an eye out for that in future grows. Otherwise plants look healthy. Leaf Surface Temperature at the canopy is 25c, which is about 2-3c lower than the ambient temps in the space, so I think thats all good, despite the light bleaching they shouldn't be suffering from heat stress too much really. Hopefully going to see the buds fatten up real nice over the next couple of weeks before harvest! Day 48 - Height: LP#1 @ 36" / LP#2 @ 33" Day 48 and the Lemon Twins are really starting to get sticky and pack on the weight now. LP#2 can't hold herself up at all anymore, so I've had to string a whole bunch of wires up to keep the side stems vertical. It's nice though because it condenses the footprint in my tent. I did the same with my Kush from last grow and it actually makes my space a bit easier to deal with. I think they must be approaching harvest window in a week or so, but I'm going to let them run a couple more weeks at least before I start checking trichomes seriously. All healthy and nothing bad to report though! One thing I'm not really sure about and keep trying to research is the effect of light bleaching on plants. Mine always suffer from quite severe light bleaching or nutrient burn on the tips by this point in their lifecycle which actually comes mostly from the heat and light coming back off the reflective walls I think, as it burns the leaves next to the walls the most. My plants seem to grow well and look healthy in all other respects though and they yield well enough, so I don't really know if it's a problem. I need to read a lot more about this. Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. The finale grow week for the first Tropicanna XL is there (the one by the wall), she came out just lovely and the smell is mad. I could use it as perfume it's so rich and fruity, never had a plant with such outstanding fragrance. This week we start of changing the reservoir water to which I decided to add nutrients. Yes, this plant will not get a flush before harvest, it's the first time i'm not flushing a plant for the cut but you know only two of the four girls are ready to chop and it's not possible in my RDWC to seperate feed them. So yes it's kind of an experiment for me...some time ago i heard that "man does not need to flush"... yeah I don't really believe what the white coats tell us but then we watched Dr Bruce Bugbee stating the same thing and he quoted experiments performed by his team... I believe him, and I don't really have much choice. Something's not right with my fresh solution or the plants get root rot or something but the girls starting to show K deficiency...I ended up adding an insane amount of PK through the week...good that the plants are on the finish line :) The SE7000 runs at 550 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. This plant has been my strongest/largest from the gate, so no surprise she was my biggest yielder! Incredibly strong/resilient from the start, however everything seemed to just go right for this plant. Lots of defoliation and attention helped cultivate dense medium-large nugs that certainly pack a punch! Very flavorful, and amazing aroma. I will definitely be growing this strain again!

This little candy is very pretty, I think it should stay under 60 cm as it looks like it's about to end the stretch. This is crucial as the VGrow can only handle a 70 cm plant without removing the bottom. The irrigation for the feeding is working well, I can increase the amount if the pot feels light. Hoping it goes ok into flower, will try to add calmag to every watering from now on.

Another 2 weeks and she’ll be done , showing a little fade and cloudy trichomes.
