Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 179 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! Hi growers, Another week has passed, and both phenotypes continue to develop in their own way. One plant is now entering the final stage, and harvest is getting closer. The aroma has developed beautifully, with lovely nutty notes and a subtle sweetness. Under normal circumstances, I would already be harvesting it, but I'm waiting for the seeds from the Ridgelion father to fully mature. The Haze phenotype, on the other hand, is really starting to bulk up, and it is becoming more noticeable every day. The buds are swelling nicely, and it is clear this plant still has plenty left to give. Sorry I didn't do updates in flowering. This was the smallest plant in my 4 plant run. Plus I had to turn the light way down to preserve the profile of the others that were getting in the lights. So it didn't get to grow to its full potential. Smell like a sweet, earthy, herbal smell. It's not my best grow, but it will be a nice sample of it for sure. Flipping today. 12/12. Drying the medium more. Day and night temps will go down by 5°F to 70°F at night/75°F during the day.

Starting the flush this week and she should be ready to harvest next week! I’m not getting any Runtz terps— more nutty piney terps on this one. She’s happy she’s healthy and almost there! 🏻💚

DAY 50 Watered with 1/2 teaspoon of molasses (and Epsom) in 2 litres of water. 💧 I am actually probably being a helicopter parent... 🚁 flap flap flap.. 😅 The buds fill up nicely. I will give her a slight feeding next time. TS1000 still magnificently shining, dimmed to 90% at 40cm distance. 💡 Day 54 I turned the LED down to 75% due to massive damages on the leaves. 😬 Dang!!! These autoflowers get a lot of DPI when the lights are running 18h, I think that I really need to adjust my nutes in the future. So first I had a toxicity, then I ran into deficiency. All my fault. Now the girl is looking fine, trichome production is in full progress and I can't wait to see what the buds will do now. 😍 🐽 As for the feeding, I will go for a 100% Biobizz Allmix Schedule (soft) for flowering week 5/6 with 3ml/L bloom nutes and raise Calmag a bit. Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds) Tag 103 / Blühtag 68 Fast am Ziel 43 cm reif für die Ernte! 🍓🔥 Nach 68 langen Blühetagen steht meine Strawberry AKeil jetzt bei nur 43 cm Höhe kompakt, aber extrem dicht bestückt. Die letzten Tage haben sich die Buds nochmal richtig verdichtet und kaum noch neue Blütenkelche (Calyxe) gebildet. Sie ist klar in der Reifephase angekommen! Heute habe ich nochmal einen genauen Trichome-Check gemacht: 30 % B / 60 % M / 10 % K Genau der sweet spot, auf den ich gewartet habe. Die Köpfchen glänzen fett und harzig, besonders in der Nahansicht sieht man die fantastische Trichomendecke. Dazu diese wunderschöne lila-rote Färbung an den Blütenblättern einfach eine Augenweide! Wie bei den anderen Pflanzen im Zelt lief auch hier der letzte Abschnitt sehr clean: - Über 1,5 Wochen nur klares Wasser - Zu Beginn der 10. Blütewoche nochmal einen leichten Boost mit Top-Max, Acti Vera, Alg-A-Mic und CalMag Der Stickstoff ist inzwischen sehr gut abgebaut, wie man auf den Fotos deutlich an den vielen hellgelben bis goldenen Blättern sieht. Ich habe heute nochmal gezielt die welkesten und unteren Blätter entfernt, um Schimmelrisiko zu minimieren und den Buds noch Licht und Luft zu gönnen. In den nächsten 3 Tagen(länger wirds nicht laufen) darf sie nochmal richtig Sonne tanken, dann verlässt sie als Erste das Zelt. Ich bin extrem gespannt auf den Trockengeruch und das finale Aroma bisher war sie schon im Zelt eine der stärksten Terpene Bomben mit diesem fruchtig-erdbeerigen Profil. Zusammenfassung: Eine sehr kompakte, harzige und aromatische Strawberry AKeil, die trotz etwas kleinerer Statur richtig dicke Buds produziert hat. Day 10 Flower Thin, will do another at Day 21 and it should be all bud, hoping to get 2gr/W out of this one. Light currently dimmed to 280.

DAY EIGHT It seems to be going well, I think. The temperature and humidity have been right about where I want them; 79 F and 60% plus or minus a few. I added a DIY LED I made from the small bar LEDs I had initially used for germination. Not very pretty but any added wattage is appreciated. This will only be temporary. I also added a bit of coco coir to each cup topped with ocean forest. DAY NINE Plants look healthy, a little droopy but it was after dark period. Gave them some water. No real changes. DAY TEN Plants are looking good. I did not water them today because the soil seemed okay. Humidity and temp are stable. I posted a video to show off my ghetto lighting system. DAY ELEVEN No adverse changes noted. Watered them well after their dark period. Temperature has been averaging about 81 F with 65% humidity. I haven’t changed the setting of the fans, lighting, or humidifier. DAY TWELVE No changes made. I gave them a light watering and lightly compacted soil a bit. I plan on transferring them to 5 gallon pots soon. DAY THIRTEEN I gave them 24 hours of light (not by design) before I transplanted the two girls from their solo cups around 3 o’clock this afternoon. I decided to put them each into 5 gallon fabric pots with a base of Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I gently cut the bottom rim off the solo cup using pruning scissors, then cut straight up the side. I was able to pull the cup apart without disturbing the roots and soil hardly at all. I did not loosen the soil at this time, as I was afraid to touch the roots at all. I had a small spray bottle with spring water and two tbsp of Dynomyco dissolved in it, which I sprayed half the contents onto each of the root balls. I also sprinkled a bit into the soil and mixed. I basically have the bottom third of my 5 gallon fabric pots a pretty even mix of Fox Farm Ocean Forest, vermiculite, perlite, and coco coir. Then the rest was 90%+ FFOF soil. I put a bit of vermiculite on top of the soil around the seedling to give it some support. As far as watering, I gave the soil a bit of spring water when the pot was halfway full, enough to dampen it. I then watered it again once the plant was transferred a pretty good amount, probably 16 ounces or so of spring water with a bit of aloe in it. Now they will sit in the dark for 4 hours, and I will keep the temperature and humidity around 78F and 65% give it take a bit. DAY FOURTEEN They don’t look they are dying; I guess that’s a good sign. They seem okay in their final pots. Temperature slowly dropped to 70 F for a couple hours when I was out earlier. It’s back to its stable 79ish. No adverse findings.

Tag 31 wird der letzte Tag der Wachstumsphase. Danach beginnt die Blütephase mit einem relativ einheitlichen „Dach“ aus Trieben. Nur durch das Scrog Netz wäre es nicht möglich gewesen. Die frühen Seitentriebe wurden durch Drähte in die Breite gezogen.

Flowering day 19 since the time change to 12/12. Hey all together 😀. This week she has developed beautifully ☺️. I poured it 3 times with 1.2 l this week. Tomorrow I will add the 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom because the first blossoms are coming :-). I checked all the leaves thoroughly for pests or diseases and everything is fine ☺️. Next week I'll look at your roots as soon as the coconut is completely rooted. As every week, the tent was cleaned and the entire technology checked. The humidifier was also refilled every day 👍. In the next few days I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up being wasted in the small popcorn buds. I wish you a lot of fun with the update. 2024-05-15 No big thing to report, The Planties doing well, established in the new Pot- I placed them in the youngsters room, so they will get stronger light, and gettting more solid structure. BREEDER INFO Tangerine Snow F1 Fast Feminised is a 75% sativa, four-way cross of (Boost x Tangelo) with (Lavender x Power Plant). This Fast F1 hybrid is bred from Cali genetics and boasts great citrus terps, high resin production for extracts, high levels of THC, very good yields and excellent mould resistance. Tangerine Snow F1 Fast can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor flowering times are between 8 - 10 weeks while harvest time in northern latitudes is during September while in the southern hemisphere growers will be harvesting during March. Recommended climate regions are hot, dry, humid and warm. These are tall, semi-branched plants that grow in excess of 200cm and display a high degree of vigour with very good uniformity. In common with many other heavily sativa-dominant strains, Tangerine Snow F1 Fast offers excellent resistance to mould as well as to plant pests and diseases. The combination of citrus terps and plenty of resin makes thi a very good extract strain with the 'washing' method delivering very good yields of hash. The citrus terpene profile is reminiscent of mandarins and tangerines and also has sweet candy notes. THC production has been lab-verified at a strong 24% while CBD is low. The effect is uplifting and energising, perfect for use during the day and early evening.
