08/25/2019 And flowering begins! May have to finish inside.

What a blast! It was so fun to do all this for the first time and have more appreciation for flower. The plant was hung intact upside down to dry in 60F / 57RH conditions for 13 days - it resulted slightly on the dry side. I plan on curing for 30 days, adding a bóveda pack soon after 1 week in jars. The once overwhelming tropical smells are now much more subtle when compared to the diesel/gas smell the flower has now. Overall it’s very loud! This was super easy to grow and tolerated many classic noobie mistakes I made like sudden droughts, inconsistent lighting intensity and slightly lower than ideal humidity conditions

The colas keep filling out and getting longer and smell amazing. It's been warmer and more humid outside so RH in the tent has gone up. I added a mini air purifier I wasn't using (no ozone) as an extra precaution against mildew. I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday and realized that the air purifier has a light on it so I got up and turned it off. I was worried that I'd messed with the dark cycle so I left them in darkness for an extra 2.5 hours. My cool tube fan fell off the next day, onto my plants. They look undamaged. I taped it up again and set up a safety wire like the filter and fan have. I need a better solution for next cycle. The buds are beautiful and having an even canopy is great. It's hard not thinking about the end result. The buds still look small compared to the big colas of a traditional grow shape but there's still a couple weeks left. There is some bud formation under the canopy but it's a little light. The tops of the colas are fat but short on the 7 gallon plants and taller and thinner on the 5 gallon plants. I did leave a couple offshoots on that developed in late veg/early flower. By the time I caught them, I felt they were too mature to chop and I thought they helped fill out certain areas. But those ones have fewer bud sites and tend to be just a cola on a branch that shoots straight up which is still good. I do wonder if less crowding would have given me bigger buds, but I think it has more to do with pot size. This is week 7 of flower. I switched to half strength nutes and started adding fancy molasses (18ml/gallon). I broke my pH tester and didn't replace my SCROG net until after I finally watered the next day so the canopy changed a bit. I took the opportunity to rearrange the plants a bit. Crystal formation increased a crazy amount the day after I started adding molasses. I think I'll keep adding molasses even during flush. The CBD Blue Shark has this really beautiful white glow. The pistils are very strong and white and the trichromes reflect back this silver light. The leaves are a nice semi-glossy dark green which gives great contrast. It's just a beautiful plant. The Wedding Cake has a lot more colour with lots of red hairs and some yellow tones in the pistils. The fan leaves are more prone to yellowing and death than the leaves on the CBD BS. The buds seem more structurally dense and are really working on these pyramid shapes that look like delicious orange and green snacks. The buds on the CBD Blue Shark are more symmetrical and kind of otherworldly like some kind of sea creature.

18 weeks from seed to harvest. Love 34 street seeds, quality genetics for a fair price. These garlic cookies showed no disease or pest issues, no mold or powdery mildew. Easy enough to grow, no surprises, no super stretch in flower, but I would recommend training or SCROG to control them. Pungent Pine is what I am callling this smell, over 800 grams wet weight. They are hanging to dry in my tent as I write this, 60 %RH and about 71 degrees of freedom units! Can’t wait to try it out 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

This week's weather has been hot & humid with a few cold rainy days. These plants were given a top dress feed of Dr. Earth Vegetable & Flower Girl mix along with mushroom compost. Also added a molasses watering and BT foliar spray Nose: MP #4 - sweet cream MP #2 - coffee/chocolate, like bitter mocha GZ - sweet, rotting strawberries WC - sweet funk MP#1 & 3 - nothing noticable yet

This week went very well, she is still stacking on flowers, and Piglet is now being fed about 5 gallons per day, with about 1 gallon of runoff, she feeds five times per day, every 3.5 hours with lights on, and then once in the middle of the dark period. She is still just being fed Armor Si, CaliMag, powder Maxi Bloom, and a PK liquid bloom booster. I use the runoff mixed with dehumidifier water to feed my tomatoe plants, and they absolutely love it. I have found that using dehumidifier water in a reservoir leads to funk within only a few days, even when using food grade Hydrogen Peroxide, so I only use it for instant feedings and for the tomatoes. I am still cleaning the reservoir once per week just to keep her and the pump/lines in good shape, and it only takes me about 10-15 minutes per week. I also added another bag of CO2 inside the tent and have a bag sitting in front of each air intake screen, as well as one hanging about the plant., I have also added several tubs of mushrooms growing both inside and outside the tent, with a breather on each one, so she is getting plenty of CO2. The heatwave is over for now and weather looks great for the next 8 days. I am estimating that she has about 2 weeks left to stack flowers, and then 2 weeks to ripen, so I am hoping to harvest her around the end of June but will have to wait on the trichomes to be sure. I plan to flush her for about 4 or 5 days before harvest with just plain water. Overall, I am very impressed with Ethos Genetics, and I now understand why everyone was recommending them to me when I wanted to try a photo period plant. this is a great auto flower she does what an auto should with little tender needed but with a decent light and good size pot the potential is great for a huge lemony harvest shes one of the easiest most resilient plants iv grown as shes not had the best run at all and has still done well she was only under the Mars hydro epistar120 with another auto and plants that I have in veg and still produced well would recommend to all growers new and old thanks to all who help comment and like and make the site a good place to be happy growing guys

Hi all, sorry for the delay, all continues to go very well, she is handling the nutrients very well wit only a very little tip burn. I increased the light a little bit, as I felt that some of the main colas on the side didn't get enough light. Next week I will probably be able to show the little veg-box I built, since the cuttings are slowly outgrowing their current home.

Updated pics, smell getting stronger, for first grow looking like a decent yield without no lst or anything just tied down the leaves so the buds can get the light, only found out about what lst can do for the plant when it was too late so thats the only thing I'll change on my next grow. Sorry for the late post had a very busy period. The buds are great, good feedback from patients. First time I've been able to taste a fully organic bud and I can say I won't be going back!
