Defoliated here and there, she's stretching hard now so I'm gonna have to wait a few more weeks before I can really start stripping and defoliating her. Because I LST, topped, and then super cropped all the main branches, there's way to much branches for the available surface.

This week it is official, I have used both organic and synthetic inputs. I did notice she was starting to become a little defcient right around the time to top dress(Week 3). I think her issue was potassium. I have also been overwatering a bit, trying to get a handle on keeping the media moist, I think the wetting agent in the Pro-Mix is working as well as the worm castings. Other than that, I am really impressed with her speed of growth. To give you growmies an idea of my thought pattern on this grow, the first 3 weeks were just organic amendments. Top dressed with 1 cup of worm castings, with 5 tbsp of Home Grown and 5 tbsp of Flower girl and watered in with a light nutrient(syn) solution. Next I will water only roughly until my next top dress in 3 weeks in which time I will feed a compost tea. Thanks for those that stop by, like and comment. See ya next week growmies!

Lilly x White Widow is doing good. She has finished, and is ripening well. I am just a little past when I would like to cut her. I am waiting on space in Cannatrol. So I have to cycle them in to it in 8 day gaps. Her next update will be her Harvest. I did reduce the light strength on the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights to 60 percent. Been pretty busy lately but these girls just keep at it. I did go several days with out topping them off this last week, probably only had a gallon left of water in thier buckets when I switched to transition. Only problems is a little bit of light burn and maybe a little bit of pest damage on one of them.

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎

Things are going just as I would expect for this stage and no gnats as of yet thank god for that🙏 If things go as planed top feedings will stop by the end of the week and I will move on to the reservoir on a 2 week cycle. The Mars Hydro TS 1000 is performing just as I would expect and that's to say flawlessly this little light works its magic best in the veg faze of the grow when growing multiple plants but in flower it will need some help. If I had 2 of them I think I would be fine in my 4x4 tent one for each plant or better yet the TS 2000 for each plant Until Thursday Happy Growing and as always Keep your stick on the ice 🏒 Update 📅Day 11 6/17/2021 she is well on her way and I am very happy with the progress. Day 70, 100% cloudy with some ambers. Shame about the main cola fox tailing, and a nightmare grow really. From heat stress, and cal mag deficiency and nute burn pretty much 6 weeks it’s been one thing after the other. But she kept growing, and with continued efforts it’s looking like I have been rewarded. The smell is strong!! The sticky fingers speaks for themselves. Scissors are ruined 😂. Will hang dry now for at least 5 days before another little trim / tidy up prior to jarring / curing.

7/22 day 43 7/29 end of this week all plants are super healthy.

Week 6 of 8 begins! Mandarin dreams 1&2 are looking great, bulking up and smelling delish! MD1 is the runt of the two pheno's and has a shitty smell, MD2 is the stronger of the two and has the smell of a citrus cleaner. Day 42, start of flowering week 3: they are growing nicely, had to do a lot of defoliation on each plant, except the one in the 3L pot. Day 43, I started to discover that the roots are coming out aggressively from the bottom of the pot. I did not move the ones in the back, but I guess same thing. The one in the 3L pot doesn't have this problem. Day 45: getting really excited for these guys! I'm trying to keep the temp and humidity low, and I hope I can achieve some of the purple color :P any advice on that? day46: defoliaton

28/11/22 - first week of bloom starts today, looking at doing another defoliation to free some sites up and removing small sites from the lower canopy - defoliated all of them quite heavily hopefully for the last time, removed small sites from the bottom

15 seeds germinated. 100% success rate. Seeds have been planted in a mix that has volcano ash and bat guano. The mix gets the seeds off to a great start without the worry of adding nutrients. Over the next few days they'll receive water twice a day. We water about 100ml at a time 3x a day. We water in circular motion to encourage the roots to grow out.

In week 10 I have some plants, which have grown taller than the rest (canopy is appr. 80 cm high now). In order to not have to raise my lamp, I rather correct their height by 'supercropping' them. Supercropping is a technique developed by SOMA from SOMA_seeds and works VERY WELL. Instead of topping your plants (=cutting off the main stem) it is better to take the main stem between your fingers (appr. 15-20 cm form the top) and brake the fibers inside and then bend it downwords. This way the stem will stay intact and heal itself and you dont loose the main buds growing on it later. In the video above I show and explain how I supercrop a plant. The plants are now getting more and more into flowering and therefore I switch the dimmer on my SANlight EVO4-120 plants to 100% now (see in video above). The BIO NOVA nutrients are increased as well a little bit, so the plants can build big buds.

QUESTION TO EVERYONE READING THIS: My tap water is pH 8.3 (yes I know right ?!) Adding the BioBizz nutes brings it down to pH 6.2 - 6.4 depending on the amount which is great. Now, I dont really care about runoff pH that much, doesnt tell me a lot imo but I measured it twice, last time it was 6.8 this time it was 7.1. Is there anything to worry about or is that just irrelevant? Thank you guys :) Day 48: Watered the G13 Haze with 650ml Water and 2.8ml / l BioGrow, 2.8ml / l BioBloom, 0.7ml / l TopMax which is the equivalent biobizz week 7 feeding schedule with 70% strength on BioGrow & TopMax and 90% strength on the Bloom. Therefore, dont mind the leaves hanging down, I just watered before taking pictures. Also redone some of the LST by changing the "angles" of the side branches to use up space more evenly. Tied down a bit more aswell to even out height differences. Looks great so far, but the G13 Haze is quite a bit behind in budding, the Liberty Haze is throwing Pistils everywhere, the G13 Haze just started showing the first noticeable preflowers with pistils on the nodes. Day 45: I really wanted to try serious and "professional" training methods. Defoliation was obviously needed, I couldnt even see what was going on below the plant. Removed all leaves except on the top 2-3 nodes of each branch. Then I did some heavy LST to move the side branches to the outside for filling up space. I hope the center will grow some branches at some point. MOST IMPORTANTLY, since I wanted the main branch to slow down growth a bit, I twisted and "mashed" it between two fingers until I could hear a snapping noise and the stem became weak like gummy. It takes a lot of courage guy! A LOT. But it seems to have worked, the stem is not broken and I managed to tie it down without bending the whole plant. I am so excited on how this is going to turn out. ~Watered 600ml today Day 44: So yeah, definitely stretching ! The internodal space is way bigger than I'm used to from growing short indica quick ones. Funnily enough, the G13 Haze does'nt give off any smell at all apart from typical "green plant" smell (Just noted that because the Liberty Haze smells quite strong even though it doesnt form buds yet). Did some very very careful LST which looks good for now. I want to remove a lot of leaves and little side branching from the bottom as soon as the plant grows a bit bigger so I can access the bottom part better.
