I was super anxious to get to grow my own weed. Came home to 5 of 6 sprouted. It took the other one nearly a week to come up.

Semana 13 de los esquejes y su segunda semana de floración, en realidad llevan 16 días de flora. Hago los riegos 1/1, uno solo con agua(EC: 0.4) y el otro con los fertilizantes. En los riegos estoy utilizando Sensi cal-mag para llegar a una EC base de 0.4 y luego aplicar los fertilizantes. Regulo el PH con los reguladores de BioBizz. Durante esta semana se hizo la tercera y ultima aplicación de Delta9 la cual se hizo vía riego. Esta se hizo el décimo día de floración, es decir, el día 14/08. Por lo demás todo va bastante bien, las dos plantas van con buen aspecto y sin posibles carencias, espero que todo siga así. Seguimos con todo la flora!! Cualquier recomendación será bien recibida!!

Got a few more of these seeds I’ll be growing more soon. Hopefully this next run will go better. As I have more experience under my belt.

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. It’s the final week. I’m just giving them a couple of waterings with ph’d water before the chop.

Growing great. Smells good looks like its going to be be a nice physcodelic and strain. Smells sweet and spicy mostly like sttawberries.

Left to right: All Gas x Cali Octane (Promo), Banana Butter Cups, Gelato, OG Triploid. Pictures taken day 48 of flower, just started into week 8. I messed up last week and uploaded pictures that were still from week 6, but I'll just leave it as is. I found one small bud with botrytis, seems to have been the only one, so not too worried there. The far red is really showing its effects now, all of these normally take 63-68 days to finish, as it is I think I can chop around day 58. Combined with the super short veg, I could do 5 runs like this a year. BBC is fading nicely, was growing strong. The others didn't use up the nutrients, even though its been straight water only with microorganisms and some kelp added every two weeks. I didn't do any pH correction and the tap water here comes out at pH of 8 and 0.8 EC, I cut it to 0.4 EC. Impressive! I am not getting sponsored by biotabs, but I am amazed what just the tab itself without any of the product line is achieving. I am sure, you can push the plant more, but I love the keep it simple approach. Next round I am going to add a Blumat self-watering system and just check in on the plants once a week. Edit: Harvested at day 56, the far-red took off a solid week - as expected. Smell was intense, they had 36 hrs of darkness before harvest, will hang until I get back Saturday evening and then go into the winecooler I modified. Currently at 19 C and 50% humidity, bit too dry, but it's only for two and a half days, so I'm not worried. The biotabs didn't fully dissolve in the 9 weeks they were in the pot, next round I will break them up a little. Only the BBC really faded, I hope the taste won't be too much on the nitrogen side 😬 harvest update will follow as soon as they are dry, so probably in another two weeks from now

She smells amazing, and is starting to really get her fade, flowers are sticky and smell very pungent, with some notes of fruit. She has slowed down lots on her water consumption and is in the final days of her life cycle.
