Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. It was a good week again for the 5 mainlines, I did some final LST to try and keep the mains level, and I also defoliated the lower leaves to improve the air flow. I am still feeding the same veg nutrients which is just amor si, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will start transitioning to flower nutrients tomorrow and I will gradually switch over to all over flower nutrients by the end of the week. The ladies are about 24" inches tall, but I do anticipate them growing some more before the stretch ends. I am pretty much done with LST at this point, I will just continue to defoliate as necessary and make sure they are enjoying their environment. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Début de semaine 8 remplies de surprises, la tente de culture qui avait du retard selon moi par rapport à la deuxième tente, a progressé à une vitesse fulgurante, certes les plantes qui composent celle-ci sont plus petites mais la canopée est plus uniforme et il est à présent difficile de différencier dans ce que l’on voit de qui appartiens à qui tellement chaque plante à des ramifications remplies de bourgeons, un vrai régal pour les yeux et le nez. Elles font rêvées, ces jolies demoiselles... Ma deuxième tente que je pensais nickel si ce n'est que je n'ai pas su contrôler leurs hauteurs et que je me suis retrouvé avec les pointes qui touchaient la lampe, enfin après avoir tricoté un peu et diriger les branches en les attachants des fois avec de la laine, j'ai pu reprendre un peu le contrôle et m assurer que la lumière transite bien dans toute l'espace de culture devenu une vraie forêt. Et la surprise à 2 semaine de la fin, alors que je comptais commencer mon rinçage, je me suis aperçu que certaines de mes feuilles de la partie basse, comportaient des taches suspectes, après investigations et recherche sur internet, j'avais des thrips ! Etant en phase de floraison très avancés, mes moyens de traitements contre ces nuisibles sont donc presque nul, traitement chimique interdit, me reste donc comme solution le protoxyde d’hydrogène mais très discutés sur la toile ou les avis divergent beaucoup... le savon noir, dont beaucoup de sites présentes des recettes qui peuvent nous être très utiles , les bandes adhésives bleu prévus pour les thrips, et la dernière solution éliminé manuellement a la main... Après avoir lu et fouiller le net, je me suis tourné vers growdiaries et je me suis rendu sur le chat du site ou j'ai fait la connaissance de chouettes personnes qui me sont venus en aide et je les remercie encore grandement. Pour ma pars face à ce nuisible, j'ai suivi leurs conseils : savon noir plus éliminé à la main et contrôle minution chaque jour. Ya estamos en plena floración y con las luminarias a max potencia... Evidentemente el aire acondicionado también está trabajando durante la fase de encendido. Flowa-Bloom es la estrella de los nutrientes a incorporar, pero todos son importantes... Así que sigo la tabla de fertilización de JUJU Royal al pie de la letra. Eso si, primero humedezco bien el sustrato con agua, para aprovechar bien la solución con los nutrientes y que no filtre por las macetas textiles. Riego cada cuatro días.

Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

1/25 Week 11 Ripley : Flushing begins with a five gallon flush to move the runoff to under 200ppm and defoliated by pulling almost every leaf on a stem, and god what a bunch there were. This opens the plant and removes those sources of nuets. Going to doing this as quickly as we may so will be monitoring runoff as we go. Tara: Slight Defoliation just trying to keep these leafy SOBs open. Back on Heavy dose of CocoTek and placed in best light I can we just watching the bud growth for how to help this big girl. Will not pick up Peak again until ready to withdraw the CT. Friday 4-19 plant 3 got a haircut and in the drying tent she went. Plant 4 is so big I can't keep the pot wet with hand watering every 12 hours. She needs a IV bucket of liquid nutes. I'm tying off bud sites so they don't fall over.

Day 7 & 2 of the NHLs still havnt popped, transplanting the one NHL that did pop today! Day 12 think 1 of the orange sherbet have nute burn so flushing it out and dropping the dose a little hopefully that helps!

Our Black Runtz by Zamnesia has reached 16 buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they'll go into flowering. She's a plant with a low internodal distance, they're not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but you just need to let them grow a little and not go into flowering straight away to get an excellent result anyway. As a general rule but very general plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of the techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance which are very easy to handle, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent dimensions even if worked with techniques that keep them low. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went slightly into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but without making her go into crisis we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below with this plant I managed to keep myself more balanced the others for a week were in quite evident over. The ideal when topping repeatedly is probably to start with a soil fertilized with gradual release or in fact start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing.
