This week has been a tough week as my son got into a bad accident so I wasn’t able to be home with the plants. I was away in the hospital for five days. I must say the one time I wasn’t home the system failed me by not draining after one of the feeding. In which caused my plants to get a little bit of a deficiency and bite burn as well. So I was very disappointed in that. Other then that they kept growing at light speed and the topped one is like oooooo watch me watch me and just showing off lol 😆! I don’t have many pictures from my phone only from my camera in the tent. So not the best quality but it’s something right? This plant was not to bad in terms of lst needs and defoliating needs as much as the other ones. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I’m keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.

Next will be harvest!!! She’s a yielder and a beauty! Easy to grow, nice nugs- very happy

Progress is there. One of them is not doing so well but is starting to show a little bit of life. We’ll see where she is by the end of the week.

Day 45 17/08/24 Saturday Another watering today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only. Lemon skittles and XXL ammo are tall, bud nice and smelly plants! Great grow!! Should end up with over a half a pound off of these 2 and the little I harvested about 2 weeks ago. I got 2 oounces dry off of her. They smell amazing and are covered with trichomes

2020-08-17 Beginning of Week 9 of flowering! Wow! The buds in the middle are getting super frosty now and I noticed that I had some colas that had dipped below the light canopy. They're now back up on top! I am still giving nutrients as I don't see many amber trichomes yet but I am going into the tent without the LEDs on to take some more updated pics. Don't wanna miss my window as I prefer to be stimulated instead of sedated by cannabis. Hoping this strain delivers. IF anyone wants to comment on the 'readiness' of my buds for flushing (or not flushing) please leave a comment or message me! 2020-08-23 Updated with this week's entire set of pics! Trying to take more with the lights off and just the flash to capture the trichomes. Looks like the sugar leaves have more amber trichomes. Great week! She has been gaining all week, and is going to make some great colas 💪 I upped her nutrients again this week and still she looks like she could use more. I’ll be going to a regular feed, and the light feed schedule with her for the time being, no more straight water until I can see she’s producing and getting all she needs. Temps have been very high where I am, which in turn causes the tent to run a little hotter, especially with the two lights now. Hovered around 82-83 degrees for most of the week, and then came down a bit once the heat broke. No need to fill RH at the moment, tent is a nice 55%

She is getting more and more dense everyday, still only week 2 of flower and she is already looking amazing. A lil stretchy but that could turn into some desert colas. Started with some BioBizz top Max. Watering every 2 days now. really hope she continues to grow and put on some dense colas. will update with pics and a video towards the end of week 5 which is day 35. All days are from true leaves. add about 3 days from start of germ This is first grow and was wondering how she is looking/also look at the shorter and more dense skittles auto on the right in the video above. Im using my cupboard which has white walls thankfully. Also using a full spectrum LED quantum board 240W, is pumping at full power about 50 cm from top cola First grow going well Appreciate any tips with going into full flower and would like to dense up these babies.
