She smells extremely orange 🍊

Hey Growers, end of week 6 from seed, end of week 1 of flower :) Plant #1 is looking healthy and has grown tremendously. I previously had them in a 24x24x48 grow tent but after seeing how much plant#1 was growing I went ahead and purchased a bigger tent 36x36x72. Light is about 17 inches away from the plants right now. Might have to do some LST so the top leaves don't receive too much light. P1 is filling up with pistils, looks like buds will soon begin to form :) I have not been able to figure out Plant#2 gender. It has different charateristics from plant#1. Earlier in the week I noticed P2 was not growing in height and the leaves were starting to look pale. Light is currently set to medium low 140 Lux X100. I reduced it to 100 Lux and after a few days it began growing again and its gaining back its color. P2 has given me minor problems since day 1 but its looking better now. Changed light cycle 12hrs / 12hrs I had issues trying to maintain humidity levels at 45%-55%, I might need to purchase a stronger dehumidifer cloned two plants and they are beginning to grow :) Its been an exciting experience so far, everyday learning something new about these plants. I sometimes stand and just stare at my grow tent analyzing little details about them trying make sure they are in healthy condition. My wife complains because I spend too much time with them lol. I know once these plants get more mature she will show more interest in them. Harvested on day 70 (a bit early I know). 19.8 grams of dry buds. Small harvest but potent and very loud. I grew both this and the critical dwarf and both were super low yielding, although if I harvested a week or so later I would probably have gotten a 25% increase in yield weight. Regardless, I'm happy as I smoked one bowl after an 8 day dry and it got me pretty good.

Week 6th started. I will add each plant 100 ml water 2x a day so 400ml altogether. I still always spray the topsoil also. The same fertilization method will be done, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2x 100ml acacia honey and bat guano water mix for each plant. I changed their places so Purple Punch is the left side now and the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe placed to the right. I always rotate them to get equal light. Last day of the 6th week. Gelato Cookie D'ohpe doubled its height. I decided to make the Purple Punch flower but it is not autoflower I separated it for 36 hours darkness and then I will give 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light the first 7 days. So every night I will put it in the tent with the other one and remove in the morning to be in darkness. I also need to reset the timers. End of this week Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 65 cm, Purple Punch is 35cm.

Seems like she's taking longer, think this might be because I used my phone flashlight to check on her during dark in the first weeks flower. Not too bothered by this as it means she might get a little fatter :) Some slight purple discoloration beginning to show from the cold night temps

Hello growers, everything is getting super frosty, but i noticed that almost all hairs are turning orange allready, anyone knows why that is maybe? Other than that the girls are coming along nicely. My camera broke so i'm using my phone this week, sorry if bad quality Good growing everyone 👍😀

Finishing out at a full 9 weeks of flower for the rest of this cycle. All of em are at various stages of doneness and now nothing left to do but chop em up and see what we got. It was a generally flawless run, save issues with WPM, a bit of nute burn on the northern lights and one leaky pot. The seals cracked on all of em again and we’ll mod the outlets to uniseals next run and see if that is the final missing piece to this hydroponics puzzle😎. The 5ml/L baking soda solution did wonders to keep the WPM in check and it’s also a much cheaper option than h2o2. We’ll draw about 1/2oz per plant when alls said and done - pretty much exactly what we were trying for with this grow of clones. Nothing but top shelf, rock hard bud🤟👍. Really happy to get these strains dialed in. The nutrient system was nothing short of phenomenal too. We could’ve jumped on the nute burn issue with the NL a little earlier but for a first run of this one component system, this is a fantastic result regardless. Proof that you can get a hydro run to scale on a recirculating system that accommodates multiple strains (with the right nute system)🤩🤩🤩. As much as I’m dying to give the whole thing a go with straight fem seeds that’ll have to wait a couple months. We’ve got bigger fish to fry and a new cross to start drilling down on. The layover may be short lived if we end up with multiple fem cuts on that grow. We’ll see what happens. The stretch is amazing! This plant is a real sky king! Buds are really stacking well on most of the branches. A major recovery from the massive defoliation from last week! Internodes are Sativa like. Branchy. BHB 1 is a monster! Around 19 viable bud sites. She's taaall. Lollipopped the lower quadrant for airflow and to redirect the growth where it is needed. BHB 2 is the shorter, slightly younger plant. Shorter and has about 1-12 bud sites. Five branches are taller than the rest (This is a similar trend in #1). The buds are looking healthy. I do get the occasional burnt leaf from my heater at night. Another week of stretching and another big defoliation and that problem should have sorted itself out. Just found out my res temp is at 62°F. I've started the circulation fan in my insulated box in sync with my exit fan. When it gets too warm, it'll start not only my exit fan, but also the box fan. Should raise the temp gradually back up to 65°. Where I like it. Still, no one has complained. Growth was/is still vigorous and healthy! Keeping the PPMs at around 800-900. Going to do a straight water flush for 24 hours, then start again at 500 PPMs or so. In soil I've always done periodic flushes throughout the cycle of the plant. Usually twice in veg. Once at around 6 weeks and another at transition. The third is at week four of flower and the last is the obligatory final flush. 24-48 hours after the flushes, there is a strong and vigorous spurt from the plant. three days later 'in soil' I go back to nutrients. DWC requires much less time to do the same thing, so 24 hours, it is! I've done two flushes so far and the experience in DWC is the same. Just faster. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. Although the root rot is essentially gone, I continue to brew my microbe tea using Advanced Nutrients Tarantula. I add a litre every forty eight hours to each plants res. This is just prevention at this point. There is so much peat moss and soil left in the root ball when transplanted from their soil, it just seems prudent. Future grows will be done 'sterile. With no organic material or biosphere (microbes)... unless we run into problems again. With the res temps so low, I don't think it'll be an issue. It was a longer road until here. With all the reading I did I still made rookie mistakes. To much nutrients and to much light stunt my plant and created some deficiencies ( CaMg). Hopefully I will do ok from now on.... Lifted the light at 3 feet on 100% power and decreased the PPM’s to 600. Hopefully that will help and I did not create to much damage. Wish me luck. I invested a lot of time and money on this grow but the experience is not there yet. I’m ok with what it is, I’ve learned a lot from this grow.

This week with this girl has been awesome she has really started to take off now that her soil is rite! She grew over 5" in the last week and that's what I chose to take for my clones. 2 to be exact and hopefully will have better results with this go around. Took me 2 clones off this mom plant so now she has been topped twice. Hopefully with the lessons from personalsmoke will end up with a couple clones of puffinz. They look sad at the moment but I havnt seen what normaly happens to clones 24 hours later. I give momma about 330 ml of de-clorinated 6.8 ph water every 2 or 3 days when the hydrometer goes around 3. She is in living soil so for now will just sit how we are and just straight water to make her happy! Thanks everyone for the love All sent back 10 fold love

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions.
