🍪🌿 Animal Mints Week 7 From Seed | Week 3 Flower (12/12 From Birth) Yes — these girls have never seen veg lighting. They were born into 12/12. They have no idea what 18/6 even means. And that changes everything about how we read them. ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — For Anyone Arriving Now • 12/12 from seed • Hand-watered • Organic + mineral approach • Multi-layer LED system: • Over-canopy • Inner-canopy • Under-canopy (almost fully active) • CO₂: ~909 ppm • PPFD range: ~850–1200 (height dependent) These are not low-intensity plants. The room is tuned for consumption. And not every plant is ready to eat like this. These are. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Snapshot • 🌡️ Day temp: ~28°C • 💧 RH: ~65% • ⚡ EC: ~2.9 • pH: ~6.5 • 💨 CO₂: ~909 ppm Now let’s address the elephant in the room: “28°C in flower? Isn’t that hot?” Only if you misunderstand LED physics. ⸻ 🍃 Leaf VPD — Not Room VPD Under LED lighting: • Minimal infrared radiation • Leaf surface temperature runs 2–4°C below ambient • So while room reads 28°C, leaf surface likely sits 24–26°C With RH at 65%: 👉 Leaf VPD lands right in early–mid flower comfort zone. Signs that confirm it: • No tacoing • No stress curl • No bleaching • No claw • Strong praying • Fast metabolism • Uniform green tone We guide with room readings. But we decide based on leaf behavior. And the leaves are calm. ⸻ 💧 EC 2.9 — Why So High? Because the room demands it. Let’s break it down: • High PPFD (850–1200) • Elevated CO₂ (~900 ppm) • High transpiration window (correct VPD) • Strong stretch phase (week 3 flower from seed) This creates a high-consumption environment. EC isn’t high because we want it high. It’s high because: • They are eating. • They are stretching. • They are metabolically active. If EC were too high, we would see: • Uniform tip burn • Dark clawing • Slowed stretch • Salt stress patterns We are not seeing that. We are seeing appetite. Important note for readers: Not all plants should be fed like this. You must read your room before copying numbers. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Light Haircut, Not Surgery They didn’t desperately need it. But: • The room was being reset • Airflow harmonization matters • Light penetration symmetry matters • Under-canopy exposure matters From the timeline: Before • Healthy canopy • Some interior shading • Early bud sites forming After • Clean lower third • Clear interior airflow • Defined tops • Light pathways opened I didn’t strip. I refined. This is maintenance defoliation — not panic defoliation. ⸻ 🌱 Structural Observations Check the photos: • Internode spacing moderate • Tops stacking evenly • Pistil clusters forming • Stretch still active but controlled • Stems thickening in response to light intensity They are transitioning from architecture phase into production phase. Week 3 from seed-flower timing means: They are slightly developmentally behind traditional veg-then-flip plants. And that’s expected. ⸻ 🔬 Multi-Layer Lighting System — Why It Works We are not just blasting top light. We are: • Feeding tops from above • Feeding sides from inner canopy • Preparing lower bud sites with under-canopy This creates: • Even auxin redistribution • Less apical dominance • More balanced lower bud viability • Reduced larf development later When under-canopy fully activates? We’ll likely see lower sites tighten dramatically. ⸻ 📈 What To Expect Next Week Expect: • Continued vertical stretch (but slowing) • Clear bud site stacking • Increased water uptake • Slight calcium demand increase • Stem lignification Do Not Expect Yet: • Bud swelling • Dense calyx stacking • Heavy resin • Final terp expression We are still in early production. This is foundation week. ⸻ ❤️ Gratitude Section To: • The OGs following since day one • The silent readers learning quietly • The loud critics keeping us sharp • The lovers • The haters • The Grow Diaries community • The platform hosting this experiment • The sponsors supporting the journey • Every single person who clicks, reads, observes, questions This is more than growing. It’s documentation. It’s education. It’s transparency. And it’s respect for the plant. 📡 Please stay tuned they can try and take us down but we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@DOGDOGTHEDOCTOR NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Gorilla Cookies is starting to bulk. She is looking pretty good considering the navy mites from weeks ago. Leaves are deep green from neem oil. Buds should be free of any oil though. So it should not effect the taste when I get there. She has about a month left to grow roughly. She is under the Spider Farmer G3000 light. It is on 100 percent, and everything is running fairly well now. She is drinking a lot each day. Thank you Pure Instinto Seeds, and Spider Farmer. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g Spider Farmer G300w: https://amzn.to/3S2zvsd Spider Farmer 10X20 Heat Mat Kit - https://amz.fun/lsa0J Spider Farmer Amazon Store: https://www.amazon.com/spiderfarmer Spider Farmer Official Site: https://spider-farmer.com Discount code: saveurcash (stackable)

Monday 8th March - DAY 17 Leaves are curling slightly and I still have some yellow tips please can someone advise if this plant is healthy? Or what I can do better? Tuesday 9th March - DAY 18 She’s looking more healthy today which I’m pleased about I’m just letting her soil dry a little before I up the nutrients. Happy Tuesday! 🍁 Wed 10th March - DAY 19 Soil was looking a little dry this morning so gave her some more water and nutrients (lowered the dose from last time as advised by a few people.) Thur 11th March - DAY 20 She’s looking ok I think maybe a little on the short side but hopefully she’ll catch up over the next few weeks!! Fri 12th March - DAY 21 She’s rather small I think for day 21 I’m putting it down to trauma from the light drop? I’m not too sure but i could just be impatient!!

*****Week 16 growth – March 27 to Apr 2, 2021 – Week 8 flower ****** We are in the first full week of flush now. Color change time and more swelling😃👍 The fade coming from MM1 is awesome 😎 staring at her all the time. The smells coming off these girls is crazy. I find myself opening the tent zipper half way and then just letting the fan blow the aromas in my face for a minute😅😍🔥 Large citrus notes but a beautiful earthy under tone of a fresh morning dewy breeze.......F’n love it @emeraldtriangleseeds 😉👏 I was a little worried about this strain with the description of long and large for a grow but it’s been just fine. SCROG kept the height under control and they don’t appear to be taking longer than the other girls and all seem to fading similarly. Will start looking at trichomes soon but haven’t been too worried about them so far......we will be going a full 9 weeks, plus, anyway. The girls are drinking well with being watered almost everyday. Moving into the phase of letting the pots dry right out before adding more water to ensure they are finishing all the nutrients in the media. Again, really just keeping them watered when they want it and taking pictures at this point😎 Little more detail….. Mar 27/21, Day 50 - 4L plain water at 6.0pH - colors coming out on MM1 are impressive. - MM2 is going to be greener in the end.....she is slow to fade. Mar 28/21, Day 51 - 4L watering today with RO water. - 30ppm and 6.1pH Mar 29/21, Day 52 - cold in the tent today so turned the heater back on to brin up to 77 degrees. It was holding at 74, a little low. - nothing watered. Mar 30/21, Day 53 - 4L watering with tap water at 5.8pH - MM2 is not showing much fade. Mar 31/21, Day 54 - watered late in the day with only 3L of RO water - 25ppm and 6.1 pH Apr 1/21, Day 55 - dry out day Apr 2/21, Day 56 - light power reduced again and down to 300 watts. - plain water with tap. - 3L each 280ppm and 6.1pH Through week 8 and going into 9 now. Still some nutrient to keep working on in the leaves......give them a little more time💪👍

So far so good they are handling quite good , keeping ,y Ppfds around 1400 on average with some points closer to 1600 Umols/m2s 😜🤦‍♂️💪💪💪 always believing hahahaha Day 32 Flower and all seems to be running on track , leafs are tip burned just as i like , this means im pushing them to they’re limits , more they wold go in lock mode and that as we all know is not a good thing 😆 Day 32 Flower and I’m starting to think in defoliation again, i know im not supposed, but as always i will read my garden and leaf strip as many times needed during flower or no flower time 😆😜😅💚 let’s see how they grow but i fell they need space asap already 😆💚💚💚 Trying big numbers on the Ppfd department and see how far they can take without supplement extra CO2, i mean i have the bags they help but lol Ppfd- 1400 Umol/m2s VPD- 1.51 kPa Girls : Tropicana Poison @sweetseeds - 7X Chocolate Skunk @00seeds - 2X Badazz Cookies OG @seedsman- 3X Lights 2X Lumatek Zeus 465W Compact Pro @ 100% All i Grow is medicine for myself, i do it with love for the love 💚💚💚 Growers love to you all

Hallo to You all my familly and usual visitors. Thank you for stopping by and all the likes and comments....You rule! That's it the Amnesia CBD is down, came down on 21 december and during the Christmas and New Year celebrations was drying up as for now she is for over a week curing in jars. The smell is not very remarkable i get some notes of pine and herbs. But apart from smell she's crashing it :) She grew like a monster under the Mars Hydro TS 1000 150 Watt lamp, I Am really pleased, especially considering how little maintenance i performed on this girl. Dinafem did create a real tough plant. A big thanks to Mars Hydro for supplying the necessary equipment for this grow. That's it for this week folks, have a wonderful week and please come beck visit in about a week for the smoke review and final dry weight results update to this diary ;)
