Start of week 7, for the Super Lemon Haze, I'm repeating the week 6 feed cycle as she's going for at least one extra week 9, compared to only 8 weeks for the blueberries, before flushing. Last week was good, but the Super Lemon Haze continues to be a very hungry girl. She is very sticky and has a light lemon smell. The two blueberry plants continue to pack on weight and size, they have a very pungent smell and are starting to get sticky like the SLH.

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

# Chem Brulee by Zamnesia | Pheno A 🌱🔥🍮 ## Germination Week | The First Chapter Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome to another new journey. As mentioned in the previous diaries, I've recently adjusted the way I document my grows. Due to the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than grouping multiple plants together in a single journal. This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development in as much detail as possible while selecting the best photographs from each week. The objective remains exactly the same as always: To create a complete educational record from seed to harvest, sharing observations, lessons learned, successes, mistakes, and everything in between. Today, we begin following Chem Brulee Pheno A. --- ## Every Seed Carries a Story One of the things I love most about growing is that every run starts the same way. A tiny seed. A hidden genetic blueprint. And an entire journey waiting to unfold. For this run, we're following Chem Brulee from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life. A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time. Throughout this diary, I'll do my best to explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end. Every phenotype is unique. Every plant teaches something. And every run helps us become better growers. --- ## Germination Using the Cannakan System To begin this run, I used the Cannakan germination system. For those unfamiliar with it, the Cannakan is a compartmentalized germination container that allows multiple cultivars to be organized separately while maintaining a stable environment. Each section can be individually labeled, making it extremely practical when working with several genetics simultaneously. The seeds were placed inside using only plain water. No nutrients. No additives. No stimulants. Just water. Within approximately 24 hours healthy taproots had already emerged, and the seeds were ready for the next stage. Fast. Simple. Clean. Exactly what we hope to see during germination. --- ## Why Only Water? A question that often appears during germination is: "Why not feed the seedlings immediately?" The answer is simple. The seed already contains everything required for its first days of life. Nature packed all the energy reserves necessary for the plant to establish itself and begin developing roots. At this stage, I personally prefer allowing the seed to do exactly what it was designed to do. The objective is not to feed the plant. The objective is simply to wake it up. Water is enough. --- ## First Experience With Coco Starter Plugs This run also marks my first experience using coco starter plugs. The plugs were fully saturated with water and then gently squeezed to remove excess moisture while maintaining a healthy balance between water retention and oxygen availability. The germinated seeds were carefully inserted into the plugs and placed inside a humidity dome. The dome remained useful for only a short period. In less than 24 hours the seedlings had already emerged and were ready to continue their journey. At that point, they were transplanted directly into small containers filled with Plagron Lightmix. --- ## Environment Environmental conditions were intentionally kept simple. Temperatures remained around 26–27°C. Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. While many growers prefer keeping seedlings inside a dome for longer periods, I personally like introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience during growth. The idea is adaptation rather than dependence. Airflow remains extremely gentle at this stage. Just enough movement to keep fresh air circulating without creating unnecessary stress for young seedlings. --- ## Heat Mat Temperatures The propagation mat was running around 40°C. Although this number may initially appear high, the heat source itself must operate above the desired root-zone temperature in order to compensate for environmental losses and maintain stable conditions where the roots are actually developing. The goal is not to expose the seedlings directly to excessive heat. The goal is to create a warm, stable rooting environment that encourages fast and healthy germination. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination is intentionally soft. Young seedlings simply do not require intense light levels yet. The goal is healthy establishment rather than aggressive growth. Once properly settled, these girls will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the real adventure begins. We'll begin discussing PPFD and light intensity in more detail during the coming weeks as the plants become capable of utilizing stronger light levels effectively. --- ## First Observations So far, everything is progressing exactly as hoped. Fast germination. Healthy taproots. Strong emergence. Good vigor. Healthy color. And perhaps most importantly: A strong beginning. At this stage, every plant remains a mystery waiting to reveal itself. And honestly, that mystery is part of what makes growing so rewarding. No matter how many seeds we start, each one still carries the potential to surprise us. --- ## Looking Ahead Over the next weeks we will begin following Chem Brulee Pheno A through the first stages of development. We'll explore: - Root establishment - Early structure - Environmental management - Watering strategies - Light intensity - Growth observations - And whatever unique characteristics this phenotype decides to reveal Because every grow starts with a seed, but no two journeys are ever exactly the same. This is only the first chapter. She’s still a little burned. But growing very slow. Not much sun... cold, wet and windy Weather 👎🏻 Close to - 1 this morning... Think i gonna chop her Down before the rainy weather or the cold one kills her... But the buds are still so tiny Need a least 1 month😕 Any inputs guys?

8 weeks / 56 days today. Growth has slowed down a lot this week luckily. Smell is getting really hard to contain now. Sticky orange buds still nowhere near as big as purple skunk but definitely a bit fatter than last week. Purple skunk buds are getting a lot fatter. Both are really sticky to the touch, looking a bit frosty close up and can see plenty of trichomes. Little bit of leaf burn but not a lot I can do because of the space issue so just tucking the branches and leaves as best I can and moving the lights around a bit to minimise it. Watering between 1 and 1.5 litres every other day and they are soaking it all up. Increased to 3ml per litre of nutrients too. Humidity has been a lot easier to keep under control this week and hasn’t risen above 60 all week so I am happy with that. it’s been a worry for a few weeks. I had a real panic this week when I thought I saw seed sacks forming at the base of each branch. But after hours and hours of reading, I am pretty sure they’re calyxes. No intentional defoliation this week but I’ve accidentally snapped a couple of fan leaves whilst watering. I really need a bigger tent! Would love opinions on when you all think they might be ready for the chop. Comparing to other diaries I still think I’ve probably got another 6+ weeks but I’m daring to think about how/where I’m going to dry them out. I’m pretty sure purple skunk will be ready first so drying in the tent will be a no go.

Another week closer.... These girls have been a pleasure to grow so far they love everything you can give them ...no deficiencies no problems.....earlier in the week a slight tip burn but after 2 days they adjusted and ask for more.....as they are eating up the nutrients I am replacing and upping it each time...pushing these girls and they are showing there love....17 days since I switched the light and they are filling in nicely. Es war eine schöne Woche. Nur 1 Tag etwas Regen. Sonst Sonne satt. Sieht man auch. Alle Autos kommen gleichmäßig gut. Einige bilden schon Zweige. Und das in weniger als 3 Wochen. Läuft gut.

9/9 Still looking for the cause of the top fading only on the light colored phenos think its P will address tomorrow, want a couple more weeks from these guys at least. 9/10 Looking better top dressed the Happy Frog 3 tbs/plant watered with Bio-Bloom 3tsp /gal and Big Bloom 3tsp/gal 9/13 D62 Just finishing the week things are pretty stable. Nuet issues resolved and buds building nicely taking on a more fuzzy appearance with straight new growth hairs. Pics at lights out if I remember Looking at 9/27 for a harvest date or at least its penciled in on the calendar. Next feed is full

Last auto i'll grow , autos are actualy good for fast and not so heavy stoners , my yield is good but not the way i want it , so i'll keep improving my shit , starting with femenised seeds next run also a blueberry , first femenised im going to use , so lets hope it will have a better harvest. Overall this autoflower blueberry yielded the most of all my autoflowers , dense buds , good quality and very fruity smoke!

Last week of flower. Flushing plants this week with 150 to 200ml water ph 7.0 to 8.0each day Day 76 plants are pretty much ready for harvest. Buds have fattened up a abit. Day 77. Alot more orange hairs. Buds fattening up still by a little. Plenty of milky trichomes. Harder to spot orange trichomes but can see them.

Starting to look like a bag of cheesy dusting has been wafted around by unicorn farts on a barmy summers evening. Turned her around to slap her naughty side with equal and opposite neutrons or some shit like that. Boss

Dec 19th: Most beautiful plants I’ve grown hands down, best smelling too. Very close here at day 70 from seed, Mephisto grower notes states 65-75 days; looking right on track. Trichomes are all cloudy, just waiting for that hint of color on the heads and we golden. Plain water till harvest!

Well I found out what happened to the plant. Took forever to get the footage but I finally did. Windy Day + Forgot To Water = Plants Blown Over The Edge I also moved the other plant inside to see if it will do any better vs outside in the cold wet weather, stringed up some other lights and will update this soon. Just wanted to get the main pic of the missing plant up and my disappointment for the side by side contest. Given the outcome of the Dynomyco contest I will not be giving them credit for anything and will remove all branding in this contest. They have picked a diary that did not adhere to the rules they set in place then they arbitrarily changed the rules.... Sick of this shit from companies and grow diaries. The diary they picked as #1 is a joke, it does not showcase the product at all. Its a good looking plant but it does not tick any of the boxes for the contest. From the contest page. The selected growers are required to do the following: post updates of their plants to the forum – GROW JOURNAL SECTION - twice a week and tag "DYNOMYCO SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT " Upload your side-by-side photos includes: Your application of DYNOMYCO into your growing mediums At every transplant, you MUST snap root pics, General pictures of your plants (stem, leaves, and plant health) At harvest time we want to see those rootballs!! A minimum of 2 plants For your side-by-side you must use cuttings from the same strain Not once did the "winner" tag Dynomyco show us what you got as requested in the rules in the diary or any comment on the diary. Nor did they mention this was a comparative grow using Dynomyco. They called the diary side by side and that's it no other communication. They did not document every transplant, and the one they did do was one single photo. "pics" as in plural as per contest rules. They did not use clones/cuttings from the same strain as was the contest requirements, Over all a complete shit show and I would not recommend using this product if you use any form of phosphorous fertilizer It will not add anything for your grow. Zero application outside of soil based grows in the earth, not a pot. Since the humidity stayed at a very high level, it was only a matter of time...HORROR!😱 I FOUND BUD-ROT! 😭 On day 73 (=Flowering Day 49) I spotted a white fuzz on my ZHEETOS #2 plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS. I took it out and inspected her closer and found budrot on the main stem and in the main bud. I immediately cut off the infected parts and tried to save the rest of the plant. (see first video above) Since I do NOT want to spray my plants with any chemicals, because they are my medicine, I resort to UV-C light. I use the CLEANLIGHT HOBBY UNIT (a UV-C plant protection light from the Netherlands, that kills bacteria, viruses and fungi) and shine the UV-C light on all my plants and the soil-surface in the pots (see second video above). This will kill all the remaining spores of bud-rot (which are a kind of fungus) in my closet and stop it from further spreading to my other plants. I also immediately stop giving any BIO NOVA nutrients from this moment on, although the plants LOVE THEM. But I have to do this in order to flush the plants before harvesting them. I cannot risk and wait until the plants are fully matured, I have to do an emergency flush and harvest as soon as possible, so I dont loose the rest of my medicine to bud-rot. Hold your thumbs that I can save them for a week longer...👍
