the buds are very small, i had the same problem on the motherplant that i grew in hydro, its just a very bad phenotype, i had 2 of these in the package of 10 seeds, 8/10 was very good plants with very big yields of 125 grams/plant wich took very less space in the growroom. i yielded 170grams of this pheno in the rdwc system but the plant was very big ( took almost the whole tent in) so i reccomend not groIng this in hydro, it also finishes faster in soil with autumn colors at the end. i have a feeling the buds will get more weight in the coming week this is also only a 104watt LED.

So this little lady has also shot up looking very plump and reaching for the sky , she is how ever slightly smaller than her other tester seeds sister the FBT7 But are looking full of vegour , thursty for there first nutrients next week once ive worked out the correct doses

1/17 - Entered Week 3 Today, Everything is going good so far. Just have been watering with fish tank water only. I have been adjusting plant ties so the light penetrates lower branches, in hopes of more tops. I have also been leaf tucking and adjusting lower branches over bigger leaves. #1 is growing at a pretty fast pace, faster then others, and is showing signs of multiple branches coming to top, #2 is doing good, I have been trying to get more light to lower branches, hopefully in the next few days will see progress, but overall it is growing at a good rate. #3 is doing alright, its growing at an okay pace, I started LST on it yesterday and have noticed branches emerging. #4 is still quite small, but growing at an alright rate, when it's a little taller will attempt LST. Overall, everything is going great! 1/18 - Yesterday I discovered white specks on leaves, did some research, one thing I found that could've been issue was my humidifier running tap water, I immediately cleaned out humidifier and filled with distilled water. After doing that did further inspection I saw a gnat in soil, only seen one so I killed him, turned off lights and fans, sprayed neem oil spray on soil and over plants very lightly, turned on fans , let dry for about 15mins and turned light back on. I did some research on neem oil and what I understood is that it's okay to use in veg but not quite flowering. Hoping this will be the last time using it, going to get sticky traps for future. Going to keep an eye on white specs and make sure they don't get worse, some wiped off but others didn't. #1 is starting to show pistil hairs. Everything still the same, added a very small amount of calmag to fish tank water in jug. 1/19 - Not to much to update , just have been filling humidifier, and watering. Tent is staying 80 degrees and 70% humidity VPD around .9-1. The white specks on leaves aren't going anywhere, but I don't notice any additional specks. 1/20 - Mid-day - Last night around midnight I started LST with #4, her lower branches looked like they had some growth so hopefully we get some good results with it. I've been adjusting canopy, bringing branches to open spots. Watered full pot today with just fish tank water, pot was a bit dry. Ordered Branch benders and Trellis net last night hopefully it comes just in time. 1/21 - Received Trellis net today, Going to attempt SCROG, This will be my first time attempting will see what the results will be and if it's helpful, If you have any tips or suggestions let me know. I put around 4inches above canopy's, so hopefully in a few days will get to toggle with branches. Tomorrow, I have adjustable, and 90 degree branch benders coming in, will be testing those out also. Everything is going smoothly so far. Even though they are on the cheaper end, they still seem to get the job done. Plants haven't met Trellis net yet, but hopefully in a few days #1 will start getting ready to train on SCROG. I'm very excited for week 4 and really can't wait for what it's going to bring. Also, while writing this, I did have some sad news, While attempting to LST a smaller branch, I accidently got to rough, and it broke off, my first lesson. Since then, I've been being a lot more careful with these girls knowing they are about to enter flower. Day 50 Flowering: Hi all. Another week gone and another week closer to the harvest we get. All of the girls have been behaving very well and adorning themselves with trichromes and scents of their genetics. Six shooter now has a really nice dusty appearance on all her many sugar leaves and budlets which give her a very dangerous look of potency that is usually seen in gg4 and hybrids. She is not big at all but the limbs she has are full of buds and beginning to thicken out as the final two weeks run out . She has a candy sweet smell getting near her now too. Strawberry Pie is now filling her space out nicely under the light with her buds also beginning to fatten during the last week. she has a nice healthy build up of trichromes now amd shows her "cake" side a little more now. She has made a good sized plant amd has been a fairly willing participant to the basic lst she got. Mexican Airline has continued to shine as the starlet of the grow. Her buds are so attractive to look at with their spikey appearance and mixed colours being produced now. Her general size is good and her energy tobgrow has been great too. The buds are really unique looking on this strain and I will be growing this again soon without doubt. Bud sizes are very good at this stage and I hope that the final few weeks will really push her to swell . They are all now on the Dragon force to finish the final two weeks which should power rhe swelling and production of more oils for the harvest. They will be fed this for the next week now before a final week of weak feed to encourage a little fan leaf stores usage. Fingers crossed it all goes to plan. I feel like I didn’t put enough fertiliser in the soil of the Morello Cherries Auto. It’s starting to show early signs of autumn colours and nutrient deficiencies. However, it has a very distinctive sweet odour.

June 7 - We ordered some new lights last week, they are 240w kingbrite samsung lm310h with uv/ir, 3000k, and meanwell drivers. We setup the new room and moved the girls into there. After a bit of LST and a watering (with nutrients) at roughly 7ph, they were ready to go under the 2 new lights and the same SF-1000 we have been using in this grow. The new room is a 12 ft enclosed trailer. I moved everything from the small tent into this. I put clear poly on the walls, floor and ceiling. I put poly on the shelf I am going to be keeping in there as well. I bought 50ft of 6mm mylar and lined the floors, roof and sides with it. I plan to get some reflective tape to seal everything and to cover the wood. I did not get much of a chance to watch temp's today as they it was later in the evening after all was said and done. The inline fan blowing in air from outside. June 8 - 9 AM i checked the plants, they were at 25.2 and 50% RH. Late through the day I had checked and we had gotten up to around 32 degrees. So I moved the inline fan to the closer vent, hooked up to that, and had the air blowing out of the trailer with the inline fan sucking it from above the lights. I then added oscillating fan and had it blowing air on the left side of the room so it would somewhat circulate once I closed the doors. I then checked at about 9pm and we were at 22 degrees. Definitely noticed a decent amount of growth already. I have the lights on a 22/2 cycle as I was worried about the heat at night time. June 9 - Some great growth from the girls, still having problems controlling the temps in the afternoon. I decided to prop the door open a bit to have a constant breeze throughout the day while I am at work. Decided to do some more LST and also a bit of defoliation. I took about 25% of the leaf's that were blocking the new growth as it was getting a bit bunched up. I was then told the leaf's are almost solar panels for them. So from now on I will be trying to just do some tucking unless needed. The leaf's I removed were most of the damaged leaf's, I am not to sure if that makes much of a difference. I gave them a watering with only water as there is a potential I am getting a bit of a nutrient buildup along with the PH problem. Or potentially the reason for the ph problem is nutrient buildup. After watering with A PH of 7 I got some run off and tested it. The smaller plant gave me a PH of about 5.5 where the bigger one is around 5.0. June 10 - Plants are looking happy and showing tons of growth. Seems to be trying to stretch outwards. Not a ton of sign of PH issues showing so potentially getting it under control. Still a bit of damage to previous leaf's but it is what it is! The last few days I have been leaving the door open a bit in order to keep the temps down. I decided to test something and turn the lights off (automatically) at 11AM and back on at 5PM so light schedule has now changed to 18/6 and it seems I may have figured out the issue. We haven't had lots of sun the last couple days so it hasn't been to hard and I have yet to know if it truly fixed the heat issue for now. (I will be looking into a ac unit as well since it typically gets to around 30-35 around here. June 11 - Pulled some of the branches back down and added a few more LST spots. Seems we have a good amount of growth from the smaller plant out of the 2 topped spots. Unfortunately it looks like I fucked up on the bigger plant and only one of the nodes seems to have new growth. I will continue to monitor that but I think I cut the node to low and also to soon. Other then that, the girls are doing great. They seem to be absolutely loving these new lights. I gave them some nutrient water today as well. roughly 3L each. They seem to be A hell of A lot more thirsty under these new lights. June 12 - The girls are doing great , they are still just doing growing away. Lots of progress everyday. I am going to be getting a go-pro so I can set-up a time-lapse for the rest of this grow. I received my new inline fan, I got A ac infinity CLOUDLINE T4 with the temperature humidity controller. I am going to be having one fan pushing fresh air in and one fan pulling out the hot air. I will be doing that tomorrow since I have to work today. June 13 - I ordered another 50ft of mylar and that showed up today. I have decided to remove the shelf and add another 3+ feet to the grow space. So today I installed more poly, mylar, the ac infinity fan. I have it set-up to pump in air if it gets to warm. I am thinking of switching it to the output that way if it gets to hot or to humid I can have that air pulled out of the trailer. Right now my other inline fan is the outtake and I just have it set on full. Overall I think everything is set-up a bit better and more accessible. I will be putting my 2x2 tent in there at the left of the doors so I can have a veg room when these 2 are in flower. I plan to have 4 in veg and 4 in flower for the next grow. Still waiting on JOTI seeds, ordered 3 weeks ago and still have not been shipped. I will be getting those going the moment they arrive. The girls seem to be happy still, did a bit more LST to try to keep everything even, mainly I'm just pulling down on the spots I already have tie wire on.

A normal week in the tent nothing new besides fabulous growth from the girls, so much so in fact that I plan to slip to flower in a week or so to keep them from out growing my tent. So excited to start the next phase!!!

End of day 54 flower. Trimmed off all fan leaves on day 49. Day 54 moved both girls to a 4x2x5 tent where they will be following there new light schedule until harvest time. They will know winter is coming and start producing more trichomes with low humidity, cold water, less sunlight, lower heat, and then stab her on the main stem before the final day to be cut down. Still feeding them nutes and will probably flush around day 60. Trichomes are still clear and will be watching until they turn 30-40% Amber and then get the cut. Thanks for stopping by. Peace out ✌️

Week 4 Day 3 Veg Only been 5 days since last post but I think Im going to flip these tomorrow I reckon they should fill out in first 2 weeks of flower. Really want to avoid a jungle given how close they all are to each other. All very healthy. One plant more on the LED side which makes it more filled out but tbf the plants on that side are much more vigouros, thicker stems and broader leaves etc. LED is controversial in bloom but in veg it kicks halide and florescent ass. Should I pull the net in tight and flip or what fam?

My Soaptini plant is looking amazing! The leaves are a really vibrant green, and they have this cool, almost waxy texture that makes them look super healthy. It's growing nice and bushy, and I'm loving the overall shape. This one's definitely a showstopper, and I can't wait to see how it blooms. Stay tuned for more updates on this beauty! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

As some of you may have noticed, I've recently adjusted the way I document my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than sharing a single journal with its sisters. This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development while selecting the best photographs from each week and keeping everything properly organized. The goal remains exactly the same as always: To create an honest, educational, and complete record from seed to harvest while sharing observations, successes, mistakes, lessons learned, and everything in between. Today, we begin following Purple Haze Pheno B. A sister to the previous phenotype, but with her own story still waiting to be written. --- ## A Classic Name Returns Some cultivars need no introduction. Purple Haze is one of those names that has echoed through cannabis culture for decades. Whether through cultivation, history, music, or simple curiosity, it remains one of the most recognizable names in the community. And while two seeds may come from the same package, every phenotype has its own personality waiting to emerge. That is one of the reasons I enjoy documenting individual phenotypes. The similarities are interesting. The differences are often even more interesting. For this run, we're following Purple Haze from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life. A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time. Throughout this diary, I'll explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end. --- ## Germination Using the Cannakan System To begin this run, I once again used the Cannakan germination system. The design is simple and practical. Multiple cultivars can be germinated simultaneously while remaining separated, organized, and clearly labeled. For growers working with several genetics at the same time, it becomes a very convenient way to keep everything under control. The seed was placed inside using only plain water. No nutrients. No additives. No stimulants. Just water. Within approximately 24 hours a healthy taproot had emerged and the seed was ready for the next stage. Exactly what we hope to see from healthy, vigorous genetics. --- ## Why Only Water? One question that often appears during germination is: "Why not feed the seed immediately?" The answer remains simple. The seed already contains everything required for its first stage of life. Inside that shell are the energy reserves needed to establish roots and begin development. At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural reserves exactly as intended. The objective is not to feed the plant. The objective is simply to wake it up. Water is enough. Nature has already done the hard work. --- ## First Experience Using Coco Starter Plugs This run also marks my first experience using coco starter plugs. The plugs were fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess moisture while maintaining a healthy balance between water retention and oxygen availability. Once germinated, the seed was carefully inserted into the plug and placed inside a humidity dome. The dome remained useful for only a short period. Within less than 24 hours the seedling had already emerged and was ready to continue growing. At that point, she was transplanted directly into a small container filled with Plagron Lightmix. --- ## Environmental Conditions Environmental conditions remained intentionally simple and stable. Temperatures stayed around 26–27°C. Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. Rather than keeping seedlings inside extremely humid conditions for extended periods, I prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience throughout their life cycle. The goal is adaptation. Not dependence. Airflow remained extremely gentle. Just enough movement to keep fresh air circulating without creating unnecessary stress. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination remained intentionally soft. Young seedlings simply do not require intense light levels at this stage. The goal is healthy establishment rather than rapid growth. Once properly established, this girl will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of development begins. For now, healthy roots and healthy growth remain the priorities. --- ## First Observations Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far. Fast germination. Healthy taproot. Strong emergence. Healthy color. Good vigor. And perhaps most importantly: A healthy start. At this stage every phenotype is still an unknown story waiting to reveal itself. That mystery is part of what keeps growing exciting no matter how many seeds we plant. --- ## Looking Ahead Over the coming weeks we'll follow Purple Haze Pheno B through every stage of development. We'll document: - Root establishment - Early growth - Environmental management - Watering practices - Structural development - Flowering behavior - And whatever unique characteristics this phenotype chooses to reveal Because every seed begins with potential. And every phenotype deserves the opportunity to tell its own story.
