Afterwards, I did a pretty big defoliation, getting rid of approximately 85%+ of the fan leaves. After this, I re-positioned a lot of the bud sites. There were a couple that were pretty woody and I could not move without inadvertently super-cropping. I didn't feel it was necessary though as the canopy is almost completely even now. Also, going to start adding a small dose of cal-mag to every feeding now, and feeding base NPK at 3/4 strength instead of the 1/2 strength. We'll see how they do. Day 79 F23: Nothing new Notes: Plants are recovering from major defoliation very nicely. New dehumidifier will be here tomorrow. RH has been steadily around 54% with the shitty dehumidifier running almost constantly. To anyone reading this, I cannot emphasize how useless those little ones from Amazon are, don't buy em. Day 80 F24: Nothing new Notes: New dehumidifier came. Required a bit of reorganizing my space. I obviously can't put it in the tent, so it has to sit outside and dehumidify the whole room. It will take some time to adjust, considering the humidity I'm worried about it beneath the canopy of the plants, but I will let it run and see how good it work. I adjusted my inkbird down to 45% RH and will probably adjust down to 40% in a month. Added half a tsp to the mix to get it to move a tenth. With pH down, that would've dropped it probably a whole point. Day 82 F26: Nothing new Notes: Just patiently waiting for flowers to beef up and making sure temperature and RH are on point as well as monitoring the plant for signs of distress. Day 83 F27: Nothing new Notes: Didn't notice anything new, but was really tired this night and went to sleep early. Lots of leaves showing necrotic spots which look like a calcium issue. pH has been pretty on point the whole grow, and I just started feeding more cal-mag, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Great start to the week. Buds starting to develop. Introduced Unsulphered Blackstrap Molasses this week in the feeding. It was freezing for the first time 11C at night. Night time is starting to scare me, it gets humid and cold. I might have to bring the whole operation inside

Well, the Grandaddy black hermed on me in the beginning of week 7 flower. Separated her immediately and did a flush bringing the ppm down from over 2k to around 500. Two days later she was harvested. A little blown she didn't finish up how I wanted her to. 2 more weeks she would of been ready. Trichomes were 5% amber 70% cloudy 25% clear.

So far plain sailing, I raised the light as I was riding it a bit close and in a weeks time I will defoliate for the last time and remove any unwanted growth from the bottom.

Week 2, Day 10: all 5 seedlings has emerged from the coco that I've prepared.Most of them are between 6-9cm tall and 4 true leaves has appeared. Been feeding my self made nutrients equivalent to the GH main 3 Floral Series. The coco that I have bought is from a 5.5kg block which i buffered with Calmag solution of 150% strength and left overnight for 8+ hours. The girls seems healthy and happy at the moment however I have read some reviews that these 2 strains BCN Critical XXL & Big Bud XXL are not hard to care for and mostly forgiving on the nutes. I always ensure that my PH levels are within par of 5.5-6.5 & the recommended PPM according to the feeding schedule of GH label instruction which is between 300-400 ppm. The other 3 plants are Landrace Sativas which I grew earlier and 2 has been given LST (Low Stress Training) back 5 days ago and I noticed that the smaller leaves are thriving into bigger fan leaves and thicker branches! I overdid the 1st plant which seem to be slightly overbent including the main stem which quickly recovered and healed overtime. these plants are really amazing to watch them grow. I will be transplanting the 5 autoflowers into a 5 gallon pot in another day or 2,until then happy growing! 😸

Week6 of bloom, feeding Cal-mag+Floranova Bloom, both at 1tsp/gal. Each plant receives a glug or two from a 1gallon mixture. Runoff is removed. New Clones of different phenos have entered the arena! Happy growing!

Great week continued flowering did notice diet went from one feed to two feeds growing beautifully starting to see crystals on leaves or whatever makes leaves sparkle there is a lite smell but nothing to crazy

On week 4 now since repot Seen some rapid growth this week Started lst the main stem Will wait for the rest to catch up and then the scrog is going up. Not sure if anyone can tell me why the one in the top left is slightly of coloured as its been having exactly the same nuits as the others. Perhaps it's down to genetics maybe.

this week I tried to photograph the trichome with a mini microscope.I liked results.I will start flush next week. 😉😄

Rolling into week 7. Time to dial down the nutes and start my UVB regiment. I use Reptisun 10.0 bulbs due to LED UV's giving far less than optimal performance. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs work 2. I only run them from week 7 to flush and for only 3 hours a day within the current light cycle. Update day 45: After doing a trichome check, it finished EARLY!! Time to do a quick flush then harvest. I was going to add the nutes to the fresh water today 😂😂

Fantastic swell this week with signs of second burst of pistols. We have started pk13/14 as we are on the start of week 5 flower. So far this week as shown the most significant and biggest growth with all strains seeming to dense up a lot.

Day 58: Scent has stepped up again and I'm noticing some of bud sites starting to develop frost. Day 58.5 Flushed with 20l of PH & CalMag. Day 59: reorganised tent Day 60: Fertigated 3l. Karen has put on a load of frost in the last 24h. I mean seriously. Smell stepped up again. Height 44cm. Day 60.5: I have had a really good look at other KKA grows. I think Karen is going to need a few extra weeks. I think she will be ready for harvest in about week 14. So I think we have about another 4-5 weeks to go. Day 61: Adjusted the LST a bit. She's frosting rapidly now. 😍😍🤩 Height 45cm. Width: 60cm x 70cm Day 61.5: It is only 8 days since I *heavily* defoliated and I think I probably should do it again already. Things are progressing well at the moment though so I am trying to resist doing it too soon. She is still stretching. Day 61.75: Right, I have done some research and I have made a decision,. I'm going to give Karen 2 full weeks from the last defoliation on day 53, so on day 67 (i.e half way through next week) I will defoliate and perform final LST just to space out the colas a bite more at the "top" of the plant. Day 78 Day 28 flower 19/07/24 Friday Started the week with a good watering as she had a double feed end of last week. She took 4L de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 and no run off, added another 1L and see run off forming on all sides. She is a happy, strong 💪 plant !! The buds development is nice on this strain! I like to see the calyxes stacked like this, I'll get some macros tomorrow. Smelling like lemon sherbet it's insane 🤯 or a old school sweety shop. Day 79 Day 29 flower 20/07/24 Saturday Nothing to report. Day 80 Day 30 Flower 21/07/24 Sunday Big feed again, de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutrients. Seeing her stack now 🤩 Smells getting stronger daily 🙌 💚 Added a short video. Day 81 Day 31 Flower 22/07/24 Monday De-chlorinated tap water only today pH 5.9 and watered in 5L had a little run off. She is getting so thirsty it's awesome! She is starting to stack them calyxes. Update on pictures and video 📸🤩 Day 82 Day 32 Flower 23/07/24 Tuesday FEED again today , De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Full 5L had about 300ml run off. She is so thirsty !! 5L a day now. But it's showing, calyxes are stacking beautifully, the trichomes production is nice and starting to have a magical effect with flash 📸 🤩 Day 83 Day 33 Flower 24/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Did 4L and started to see run off so left at that.
