Hey guys, 31/5/21. We are seeing clear signs of bud. Looking very nice. Both purple lemonade are flowing. However as I previously mentioned before I had a problem with a water pump. On one tray. This has set the plants back in this tray. Wedding cheesecake and grape gushers. However because the are all autos I am lucky as in my light cycle hasn't changed. So effects are not dramatic as they could've been. Happy growing people's 👌🤟👍✊👊🌱🍁🌿

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

🌱 Week 5 – Vegetation Plants are now in a strong vegetative stage, showing vigorous growth and a well-developed structure. Leaf size has increased noticeably, and the canopy is becoming denser and more uniform across all plants. Nutrient levels have been adjusted to support higher demand, resulting in healthy green coloration and steady development. Root systems are fully established, allowing for more efficient nutrient uptake. Environmental conditions remain stable, helping maintain consistent growth without signs of stress. Overall, plants are responding very well and are preparing for the transition into the next phase.

Day 51, 4th of November 2020: The 3rd day since the lamp switched to be 12/12. I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plants remain in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... They look good and strech is on the way..... Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

# Chem Brulee by Zamnesia | Pheno B 🌱🔥🍮 ## Germination Week | A New Journey Begins Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome to another new diary and another new adventure. As some of you may have noticed, I've recently changed the way I'm documenting my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than sharing a single journal with its sisters. The goal remains exactly the same as always: To document the entire process honestly and thoroughly from seed to harvest while sharing observations, techniques, successes, mistakes, and lessons learned along the way. The only difference is that now each phenotype gets its own space to tell its story. And today, that story begins with Chem Brulee Pheno B. --- ## The Beginning of Something New Every grow starts the same way. A small seed. A huge amount of potential. And a lot of curiosity. For this run, we're following Chem Brulee from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life. A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time. Throughout this diary, I'll do my best to explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end. Because growing is not only about results. It's also about understanding the journey. --- ## Germination With the Cannakan System To begin this run, I used the Cannakan germination system. For anyone unfamiliar with it, the Cannakan is a compartmentalized germination container designed to keep multiple cultivars organized while providing a stable environment for germination. Each section can be individually labeled, making it easy to track multiple genetics simultaneously. The seeds were placed inside using only plain water. Nothing more. No nutrients. No additives. No rooting products. Just water. Approximately 24 hours later, healthy taproots had already emerged and the seeds were ready for the next stage. Simple. Efficient. Exactly what we hope to see. --- ## Why I Use Only Water During Germination A common question during germination is why I choose not to introduce nutrients immediately. The answer is simple. The seed already contains everything required to begin life. Nature prepared that package long before we ever became involved. Inside that tiny shell are the resources needed to establish roots and begin early growth. At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural reserves. The objective is not to feed the plant. The objective is simply to wake it up. Water is enough. --- ## First Experience Using Coco Starter Plugs This run also marks my first experience using coco starter plugs. The plugs were fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess water while still maintaining plenty of moisture and oxygen. Once germinated, the seeds were carefully inserted into the plugs and placed inside a humidity dome. The dome was only needed briefly. Within less than 24 hours the seedlings had already emerged and were showing healthy development. At that point, they were transplanted into small containers filled with Plagron Lightmix. --- ## Environmental Conditions The environment during germination was intentionally simple and stable. Temperatures remained around 26–27°C. Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. While many growers prefer keeping seedlings inside high-humidity domes for extended periods, I personally prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience throughout their life cycle. The goal is adaptation rather than prolonged protection. Airflow was kept extremely gentle. Just enough movement to keep the air fresh without creating stress for young seedlings. --- ## Heat Mat Temperatures The propagation mat was operating around 40°C. Although that number may sound high at first, the heat source itself must run above the desired root-zone temperature in order to compensate for environmental losses. The seedlings are not exposed directly to 40°C. Instead, the mat provides a stable source of warmth that helps maintain ideal rooting conditions and encourages rapid germination. The goal is consistency. And seeds love consistency. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination is intentionally kept soft. Young seedlings do not require intense light levels. The objective is healthy establishment rather than aggressive growth. Once these girls become properly established, they will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of the adventure begins. We'll start discussing PPFD, light intensity, and environmental adjustments in greater detail during the coming weeks. For now, healthy beginnings remain the priority. --- ## First Impressions Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far. Fast germination. Healthy taproots. Strong emergence. Healthy color. Good vigor. And perhaps most importantly: A clean start. At this stage, every seedling is still a mystery. No one knows exactly how a phenotype will develop. And honestly, that's one of the most enjoyable parts of growing. Every plant has its own personality waiting to emerge. --- ## Looking Forward Over the coming weeks we'll follow Chem Brulee Pheno B through its early development and beyond. We'll explore: - Root development - Plant structure - Environmental management - Watering practices - Light intensity - Growth observations - And any unique traits this phenotype decides to reveal Because every seed begins with potential. The journey ahead determines how that potential unfolds. This is only the beginning. Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone joining along for another grow from seed to harvest. Grower's Love everyone. 🌱💚
