Almost done here! What a journey. I’m gonna flush her tonight, even if the soil is still wet. I’m sorry I don’t have one extra week (2 weeks with Overdrive would be better), but the buds are big and fat now. Definitely time for a big flush. You can see trichomes maturation on the two videos I uploaded.

Noticed some yellowing tips. I think I need to dial back the nutrients a bit. I increased them last week to see what they could handle. There is a lot more growth than I expected this time and I've let them veg longer than I usually like to but it was necessary to let them recover from my previous mistakes. Tomorrow will be a good day to defoliate and start the flip into flower. If it isn't nutrient burn, then what is causing the yellowing leaves and tips?

I'm really happy with the gas tax x obama runtz plant is doing. It started out so small, I wasn't sure if it was gonna make it. But lately it's taken off. The leaves are a lot bigger and the colors are so vibrant. I can tell it's happy and healthy now. Well, it's Christmas again. This year feels a little different, though. Maybe it's the snow blanketing everything, or the way the tree lights up the whole living room. Either way, it's cozy and warm, even when it's freezing outside. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Santa brings. I hope I get that new video game I've been wanting. But most of all, I can't wait to spend time with my family. We always have so much fun This past week was a good one for the plants. They started the first week of their stretch, and they've already grown a decent amount. I can really see them filling out. It's cool to watch them grow so fast. I can't wait to see how big they get by the end I always get a little worried at this stage, like they're not gonna get as big as I want them to. But then I remember how they always end up surprising me. By the end, they're always perfect.

WEEK 1 of flower. This is insanely quick, veg for three weeks and on week 4 we are flowering strong. It is raining a lot, so i had to use a top dressing, ingredients on the week 3, to manage the soil nutrients till the end of the cycle. About two table spoons. Watering once a week, with the mix above, otherwise rain is taking care of them, very natural as a grow, nothing much complicated, no science fiction with fertilizer or chemistry. I’m curious about the yield, and how much can i pull out of this way, with minimal work and a nearly inert soil. Let’s see how this experiment turns out.

30.4.25: This worked out very nicely 👌 I just found Ecothrives' new, Trace! I was looking for Cal-Mag with no NPK. I came across this, I'm genuinely so excited to get using this! Ecothrive has the best products, hands down. As fate would have it, the plants are looking pretty dry! I'm going to be watering with the Trace and Biosys. Let's see what happens 😁 6 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 contained: ♡ 3ml of Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 Tsp (2.4ml) Ecothrive Biosys Let's see how we're looking in a few days after the first Ecothrive Trace application! The plants received 3 litres of this feed each. PPM: 475 PH 6.0 1.5.25: I mixed a foliar feed with my new Ecothrive Trace. I filled a 250ml spray bottle with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with 4ml Ecothrive Trace. I used the entire bottle in 3 plants throughout the course of the day. The fan is very strong, so it didn't take long to dry. However, I did keep the lights dimmer to ensure no leaves were burnt. Additionally, I spent more time than I care to admit massaging the foliar spray into the leaves 😅 I also moved the LED lights up as Northern Lights is still stretching. Par was about 600-700. Which may be too much. I'll keep an eye on it. I also watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 to Northern Lights. 2.5.25: I watered 1 litre today. With Greenleaf Nutrients Bud Explosion PK booster 1/2 Tsp dissolved in dechlorinated water PH'd to 5.9. PPM came out high at 1300, so I watered another litre through just plain, PH'd to 6.2. 5.5.25: FastBuds Mystery seed #1 is focusing on bud building. There are certainly chunky buds beginning to form here! 😍 She has pretty well stopped stretching, and so she's shorter than Northern Lights, which is still growing vertically, this is a little unfortunate as they're no longer a Sea Of Green. Unless Northern Lights is a tidal wave 😅 So because the canopy is no longer uniform, the lighting is difficult to dial in. Which has never been my strong point. Her leaves are still very dark. I'm going to top dress with Ecothrive Life Cycle, but because of the darkness of leaves, I won't add the Ecothrive Charge. Which is mainly more vegetative growth needs. Which will contain more nitrogen, which we certainly don't need any more of at this stage. Plant top dressed with; ♡ 2 Tbs of Ecothrive Life Cycle ♡ 1 Cup Worm Castings ♡ 1 Cup Canna Coco ♡ 1.25 Cups Perlite I watered in with 2 ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing .25g of Ecothrive Biosys. So far, she's doing great, I've never grown FastBuds without topping them, so maybe they will grow taller without that training technique. We will try that with our next FastBuds strain. I'm not sure when I'll grow another FastBuds as I've got the rest of the year booked up. The tent is in demand! 😅 Nonetheless, they are always sturdy plants, which is great, of course. This next week will just be monitoring of excess/ deficiency of nutrients and probably another foliar spray of the new Ecothrive Trace. I have removed a few fan leaves at the lower canopies. 8/10: Seeing great growth now..lots of branching. I actually fed them yesterday, but didn't update...several have popped some pistils and pretty much the rest are about to, and I'm out of bat guano, so I went ahead and gave them Open Sesame so they'd have more P available over the next several days. 8/11: I rearranged the garden a little. Moved all four #10's to the right side, the #4's are mostly in the middle...very branchy..the others, mostly to the left are the #2's and maybe a #3. The big plant on the lower left is an auto, as is the runt, and the plant at lower right. The "fern-looking" plant is actually a Jacaranda Tree (blue fern tree)...it's about to get kicked out... 8/12: I did a little training on some of the bushier #4's today. I don't have much space to work with, but I was able to do a little to encourage a race for apex dominance. There were enough pistils on them that I decided to switch the week to "Flowering." 8/13: I fed them today with ONE and added Open Sesame, Silica, Signal, and Sweet & Sticky. I sprayed them all with Axiom (Harpin proteins) and Boom Boom Spray right at dark. 8/14: BAM! They are poppin pistils left and right now...lotsa lovely little cotton tops.👍 8/15: Day 15 since the flip to 12/12..good progress. The #2's and #10's are stacking up and stretching pretty well and the #4's just keep bushing up.

Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.

As the plant enters the fifth week of flowering, the first trichomes have begun to form. The buds have started to thicken considerably during this week. They are becoming denser and more robust, which indicates that the plant is channeling its energy into producing larger, more resinous flowers. Throughout the growth process, the cannabis plant has shown no signs of health issues. It has remained vigorous and resilient, with no observable deficiencies or diseases. To ensure optimal light penetration and airflow, the plant was lightly defoliated this week. The cannabis plant is progressing well in its fifth week of flowering. The formation of trichomes, the thickening of buds, and the plant's overall health are all promising indicators of a successful flowering phase.

I finally came back from vacation, and I already visited it:) it doesn't look bad, a few higher branches look like the leaves are on fire, a lot of leaves were cut off yesterday so that the plant would devote more energy to the flowers:) I think the flowers will burst and expand within a week:)

Hi all, Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Thank you so much for your all support on this bananas journey 💜💚💜💚 Week 12 Jan 1 - Jan 7 I am so happy seeing how my girls are developing. All it's going great. 2 waterings of 8ltr on 03/01 no runoff and second on 06/01 9.5ltr! Runoffs PH at 6.2. Purchased larger dehumidifier and installed on 03/01 instantly humidity decreaseed from 55-59 to 50-55 on avg. and at night from 62-69 to 54-60. Light from 01/01 on max power output 110 watts. Nutes slightly adjusted. Buds on both girls gaining size, weight. Trichomes on Athena mostly milky and clear with only very few ambers. Xena mostly 50/50 clear and milky, They are smelling gorgeously, not sure if I should smoke or eat them first. Next week will still feed with nutes and keep an eye on trichomes development but it seems that girls are not in a hurry at all. That's okay me neither 😁 Stay tuned for next week entry very soon! The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had high temperatures of 79° and skies were mostly cloudy. The lows at night have begun to drop below 60°F. It has been extremely humid with tons of dew in the morning. I'll continue to defoliate and spray with biofungicide to get this powdery mildew under control. Day 2 we had early morning rain followed by mostly cloudy skies. High temperature was 77. The rain took care of the watering today. I'm treating with arber again and more defoliation. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 81°F, skies were partly cloudy, and I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 83° with sunny skies. I watered 4-5 gallons from the well. I treated with Arber. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 88°F. Skies were clear and sunny. The humidity was around 90% today. I watered 4-5 gallons from the well. I finally got most of the infected leaves off and have one more plant to do tomorrow. I treated with Arber again today. Day 6 we had high temperature of 89°F. Skies were sunny. I watered about 4-5 gallons with well water. I've been treating these with Arber biofungicide but it's hasn't had much affect. I stripped all the infected leaves and lollipoped two today. I'll get the third tomorrow. I'll treat these tomorrow with growers ally fungicide and see if they can be saved. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F with partly cloudy skies. We're expecting rain tonight and it's super humid today. The weather is not cooperating while I'm treating for powdery mildew. This week was a success. The plants gained on average 6 inches in height. They've slowed down their upward growth and are transitioning into flower. The weather has been atrocious for cannabis. These girls are super healthy but the humidity and cool nights have caused perfect conditions for powdery mildew. I began treatment with Arber biofungicide, but it wasn't doing much. I lollipoped and defolated heavy on two of the plant and finished the third after photos on day 7. The non infected leaves are responding ok to the Arber. I'm switching now and will treat late day 7 with Growers Ally fungicide. I defolated pretty heavy, but I expect a full recovery and increased production as there will be more light penetration.
