Stretch has finished. Starting full on bloom formula. I always use 50% of what the listed recommended amount is. Full dose is just too strong. Major defoliation three days ago. Filling in fast. PPMs dropped in number 2 this week from 800ish PPMs to 600ish PPMs. 1 is a much lighter feeder. The root mass of each are so different. 2 is long like a hippy's ponytail while 1 is more like a wispy, wiry Afro. Both are healthy and continueing to stack well. I Pruned all the lower herming sections and lowered the far red % as well. Lots of trichomes, which is always awesome. Smell is amazing

On may 6, the seedling broke through the earth. Seedling developed well in the first week. This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Alien vs Triangle still going strong! Several weeks until harvest, but she STINKS! This is another girl I can't wait to chop down and do a smoke report on. But I'll be patient. 😎

Plants are looking good so far, added about 2ml/gal to the reservoir this week and plants responded well. They are all keeping short and stocky so far and should be able to start LST training in a few days I think. I also turned up the light to 750w and the air temps are now hovering between 24c-25c. Water temps are creeping up though in the 21c range, gonna wrap the buckets tonight in foil insulation and build a water cooler for this setup soon as well. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

I’m quite surprised as to how well these girls are looking and smelling!! They’re quality genetics but i also believe every strain will provide pros and cons during the grow. This one particularity has been quite the learning experience. Cannabis is quite the resilient plant and I definitely like growing them. As far as this week goes they’re definitely producing more trichomes and resin glands and appears there’s no more stretch from the plant. No more new growth even small amounts hidden within the canopy. I did a little flush earlier this week and it made the tips of what fan leaves turn yellowish so it def means we’re getting close to the end. Prob got another 2 weeks before I fully flush for Atleast a week then pulling them down. The trichs will be the ultimate deciding factor. I’ll pull when i see the first sign as I like more of a heady high than a couch-lock with little to none clear. Well till next week y’all happy growin and hopefully ya had a good thanksgiving
