Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.

Nov. 6 - Week 5 begins. I am seeing calyx in a few spots so I expect pistils at any moment. Her smell is also starting to develop and I suspect she'll be a real stinker in the near future. Nov. 11 - It is not doing good but is still growing. Nov. 12 - I moved her to the 3'x3' I considered putting King Tut in, with some better light. I also removed 6 or 8 fan leaves from the main stalk and almost took off some lower branches but decided against doing so.

Girls are looking great so far! I added about 2ml/g to the reservoir and the plants responded well. Got a good explosion of growth over the last few days. I was able to start LST training the largest of the 4 today and the other 3 will be a day or 2 until they will be ready to start LST. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

I got Buds! Only a about a week old so the're tiny. Just watered with some Recharge and did some pruning, looking a tad droopy but should peak up in couple hours. Over all very health looking plants, So glad I switched to organic fertilizer, saw one gnat in the garden a few days ago, so as a precaution I put up a couple sticky traps, already got mosquito dunks mixed in the top soil from last time. Haven't see him since, might be stuck on one of the traps :).

Hello Diary! The third week of vegetation and Green Gelato enters the pre-flowering phase 💪. It can already be seen that she lags far behind her Hulkberry roommates in terms of height, so I will have to lift her closer to the light soon😬. Due to the high summer temperatures, the temperature in the box is also high😓. As I mentioned earlier, my small farm is located in a small room in the kitchen so it’s hard for me to keep the heat out of the space. But given the LED light, great MIGRO, that doesn’t produce too much heat, everything is still within acceptable limits😀. Humidity is also good, given the third (last) week of vegetation and ranges around 55-60%. The distance between the branches is also significantly smaller than in the Hulkberries, so the branches are much denser and with much more leaves. Green Gelato develops more in width than in height. Due to the higher temperature, she didn't drink as much water as I expected. I don’t have some default watering schedule, I give them water when I see the pot is lighter and the surface is dry. All in all I am very pleased with how it is progressing, the plant looks satisfied and healthy. I still add Cal / Mag preventively at each watering, 1.5 ml / L. Also in the third week of vegetation she showed her gender. 06/07/2020. Day 18. Watering. I prepare 7-8 liters of water, I think this is the optimal amount for watering all three plants in the box. I added BioBizz as scheduled for the last week of vegetation, Bio-Heaven, Fish-Mix and Acti-Vera 2ml / L each. P. H. I regulate with Plagron, Lemon Kick. 09/07/2020. Day 21. Photographing and measuring plant height. After taking regular photos in the box, I take a few more photos on a black background. Vegetation is over, starting tomorrow I will change the light regime to 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness. Given the temperatures, I will put it dark in the middle of the day when the outside temperature is also the highest, I hope that in this way I will prevent the temperature from rising to an undesirable height. Black Runtz has the best leaves out of all the strains I’m growing right now. The plant has great structure. I have a great feeling about this one

Im suprised the tent can contain her everytime I take a peak shes just go bigger lol. My recomendation is to flip this to flower very early or if your lucky grow it outside where it I guess could easily grow to the size of a tree

Harvest Report – Cutting The cutting has now reached harvest time, and the final impressions are very positive. Compared to Phenotype #1, the aroma of the cutting is noticeably sweeter—a more pronounced fruity profile with less of the earthiness or pine noted in other phenotypes. The buds are dense and sticky, reflecting the successful flowering process despite lighter nutrient feeding. Key Observations: Aroma: Sweet and fruity, an improvement or variation on #1. Bud Quality: Dense structure and well-formed trichomes indicate good resin production. Nutrient Management: The lighter feeding schedule led to some yellowing leaves early, but the plant still delivered a satisfying yield. Performance: Overall, the cutting performed as expected, showing consistent traits and no issues with hermaphroditism despite being feminized. This confirms that previous issues were likely due to the genetics of other plants rather than environmental factors.

Had to prop up her heavy branches. Should be ready to harvest in a couple of weeks.
