Really nice plant. Very strong smell, Well THC coated buds and very nice effects. Lovely.

This plant is my 3th attempt, trying to find a specific taste I'm searching since I started to grow, in 2020. Plant just been harvested. Now it gonna need some more weeks of drying and curing, before I can finally evaluate the taste 😍 So, for now, I can only talk about the grow, and I'll edit my diary later. 10 weeks of flowering (total 20 weeks), this was a long run! Royal Queen Seeds say that strain usually take 7 to 9 weeks of flowering. Mine took a bit longer. She was absolutely the easiest plant I ever grown. She never shown big sign of deficiencies. She germinated fast (seed direct to the pot). I applied main-lining method (Nebula's / Topping at node 3, then node 3 again) and performed LST during the growth. She perfectly dealt with it, never slowed by the toppings. I remember that she took less than 10 hours to recover from second topping, and re-allign every branchs to the light, after LST. This was insane to me. I did some mistakes during the grow : 1) Excess of Biobizz - Fishmix during grow, until early flowering. This been fixed by following the advices from @AsNoriu who suggested to transplant the Queen to a new pot. So she moved from a 16L to a 30L during 2nd week of flowering. This was risky, it's not really recommended to transplant during flowering.... But the risk at to be taken. And she totally did good. One week later, she was looking way more healthy. 2 weeks later, she was on fire!!! 2) I brook the main cola, same week than the transplant. I was trying to apply the LST again. A bit too much of tension, and Crack! Quickly fixed. The plant don't even realized. She don't slowed bad signs, and continued to grow perfectly. She spent some weeks outdoor during Veg. And this is how i got some thrips problem during end of veg. I sprayed black soap, then water, and then Biobizz - Leafcoat. This got rid of mainly all thrips. I was still seeing one or two begining of flowering, so I continued to use water and biobizz - Leafcoat. But as she was flowering, she started to get totally covered of trichomes, even on fan leaves, and under the leaves. Thrips had no chance there. So the plant ended this problem by herself, and I don't had to spray anything during flowering, and never saw thrips again ^^

More Fantastic Grow News! They have been still doing great and developing the flowers and buds - I am VERY happy with how everything has been turning out! When opening the tent you are immediately hit with the subtle smell of maturing, ripening ganja - Each flower has a mixture of white hairs, orange hairs and an incredible amount of frosty leaves and trichomes. I notice that my Cherry Gorilla x Sol Sonic #2 is sprouting the red hairs faster than the rest - I hope she can hold off until the rest of the girls are completely finished! The Cal-Mag seems to be working - I am noticing dark, dark green leaf color right next to the biggest buds - I am guessing that this is the Cal-Mag doing its thing. I see that the leaves that were damaged from the deficiency are slowly turning back, however I feel as it is this far along, the plants are most likely focusing on the flowers rather than the leaves - which seems to be what I wanted. The dark color next to the buds give me hope it was a good remedy. When touching each of the flowers, you are left with a VERY sticky, leftover goo than stays on your fingers. Each flower smells extremely distinct - which is somewhat unexpected. This just goes to show you the power of phenotypes! These seeds came from the same dispensary bag, and each one seems to be just a little different. You can especially see what I am talking about from the Macro shots I took this week - look at the descriptions for the full breakdown. Wish me luck! hello beautiful ones, they managed to enter flowering!! everything is going smoothly apart from a few insects... I think it's normal when you do them outdoors. They have been flowering for a week and continue to grow every day! DAJE ROMA DAJE

Buds are coming along nicely, they started off with a not so appealing smell but eventually started to smell very sweet. Increased dosage for increased blooming and ripening. Missed update for day 49 but vids from previous day makes up for it. Side note, I created a homemade Co2 bag with ingredients that is easily available and affordable. I don't think I let is have an effect on my buds but it sure did smell awful. After the 5th day, I got rid of it.

Left tent is a week ahead. Fair amount of stretching this week. This time I’m paying close attention to keep flower sites high up. My experiment with bottom lighting did not went so great. I had a record yield but the quality was really bad in about 30-35% of flowers. Weak density. I’m definitely going to try again from the beginning but not this time. I have to pay attention to not let any plant get to big of a dryback in veg. It really influences the later stretching and make the plant too compact in sensitive cultivars.

The weather took a complete turn this week, bringing cooler temperatures and a few rounds of rain. To keep those precious buds safe from direct moisture, I kept her under a roof outside. The humidity spiked a few times due to the rain, but luckily it cleared up quickly enough each time without staying damp for too long. Honestly, this plant is just an absolute joy to cultivate—she is making this outdoor run so much fun! Bud & Color Update: Those purple buds are becoming more beautiful with every passing day. The contrast of the colors out in the natural light is just breathtaking. As expected, she is taking her time and will definitely need to run a bit longer than the Black Orchid Auto to fully ripen, but I am more than happy to wait when the results look this good. Week 4 of flower 8/30/24 Defoliated a little for all the tops to get maximum light exposure. Some strange marking started to appear on some of the leaves. The problem was a very high salts buildup in the coco because I watered with almost no drainage for a couple of days. EC 3, in the drainage. PH was a little high but still at normal range. Watered with a diluted nutrient solution with H2O2 (2.5ml a gallon). Waited a couple of hours and watered with nutrients again same day without the H2O2 (usually I water once daily at the start of the 12 light cycle). EC got lower to 1.6 and on the following days it got lower even more to 1.3. The plant seems happy and there is damage only on some parts of the leaves/branches. (seems like the salt buildup was only in some areas of the roots because only specific ares of the plant got damaged.) I like to see the daily progress in mass and trichome production :) Noticed the plant mass increasing daily. The smell intensified a bit I grabbed the leaves I defoliated, rubbed the trichomes to release the oils and the smell was just incredible, It is not fully developed yet so I cannot put my finger on the most dominant terpenes, but I can surely tell the smell of tropical fruits mixed with sweet candy notes are something mega pleasant. Watering with nutrients daily (mama likes to drink a lot).

Air humidity rises...some percents more and i will install my dehumidifier. I cutted some leafs again to make sure that the lights reach deeper zones. Both are veeeeeery thirsty at this stage. I still have no issues - all leafs are marvelous.

Topped them again this week (except for the OG Kush which is still growing very slowly) and did some more defoliation. Also, I installed a scrog net; it's not fixed very well but I think it will do for now.. I'm gonna be away for almost two weeks now, I hope nothing goes wrong, the AutoPot system should take care of everything. Termina la primera semana de floración. La planta más grande se está expandiendo mucho. Lo cual es bueno, dado que uno de los esquejes había quedado chico, y el grande está ocupando ese lugar. Mantuve la misma solución que la semana anterior, para probar una teoría. He leído que hay cultivadores que mantienen riego de crecimiento la primer semana de flora en indoor, para que planta aproveche mejor el desarrollo vegetativo de esa semana. Ya ahora que arranca la segunda de flora pienso empezar a agregar bud blood powder. Por el momento la configuración parece apropiada para la cantidad de plantas y el crecimiento que les dí. El modelo sería manejar plantas del tamaño de las dos que no se pasaron. Eso implica 2 semanas una vez que el esqueje enraizó todo el sustrato. Por eso voy a modificar mi clonador para poder hacer crecimiento por 2 semanas ahí mismo. De esa forma paso directamente a floración en el modulo de arriba. También aproveché para subir la intensidad de la luz un 50% de lo que estaba, Entre semana vamos a ver la evolución y seguro ya le subo la luz al 100%.
