WEEK 14 - HARVEST: The Grand Finale ​🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS The journey of the Monster Maker has come to its successful end. After 9 full weeks of flowering, she reached her absolute peak. The final days showed a stunning purple fade, and the bud density became rock-solid. As seen in the final photos, the structure was perfect, and every site was loaded with high-quality flower. It was time to chop! ​👃 TERPENES & AROMA Even during the harvest process, the scent was overwhelming. The sweet, citrusy tangerine notes have merged with a heavy, spicy, and earthy funk. It smells like a premium dessert with a gassy twist. I expect the terpene profile to become even more refined during the slow dry. ​🌡️ ENVIRONMENT & VPD Final conditions in the tent were kept at 24.8°C and 46% RH (VPD ~1.65 kPa) right until the end. Now, for the drying phase, I have adjusted the environment to aim for a slow, 10-14 day dry to preserve those precious tangerine terpenes. ​💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING The 7-day flush with pure, pH-regulated water was completed perfectly. The plant looked beautifully "starved" and clean, which should result in a very smooth smoke and pure white ash. No more nutrients, just the natural essence of the plant. ​💭 GROWER'S NOTE HARVEST DAY! Seeing this lady without her leaves (the "naked" structure) really shows the success of the LST and training. Every branch held a massive, frosty treasure. Now the real patience begins with the drying and curing process. I am beyond happy with the resin production on this Sweet Seeds masterpiece. D89 (18/02/2021): Copy paste of last week... I think max one week and she is done 😁 I gave around 2L of tap water. Glue Gelato is dry and in jar since one week. I did not move back Banana Kush in the tent since I was sure it was her last week. At this point I should have move her back in the tent. I think being in the closet might have slow her down since there is no reflective wall but at least the environment conditions are good. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - water: 2L of tap water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D90 (19/02/2021): I can definitely see more resin gland forming on buds and can also tell that the calyx are swelling nicely. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D91 (20/02/2021): I gave 1.75L of tap water. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - water: 1.75L, PH7.5 - RH in the closet: 33-35% D92 (21/02/2021): I checked the trichomes and they are more abundant. Another BIG week for the gals. They got lollipopped on Monday and it took them about 5 days to fill back out and start stretching vertically again. Saturday-Monday they seems to explode overnight, had to adjust the scrog net and do additional LST to keep the canopy as level as possible. PE#1 is not as tall as the others and with this system I can't really stand her up on anything. Hope that she catches up this week. I discovered some purple petioles, and a little spreading to stems on each plant and read that it's likely due to a mag deficiency. I added CalMag to the res. Also noticed the water temp is a little warm at 26-27C but I am not going to spend the money to get a chiller and pay for that electricity, so we will see what happens. Doesn't seem to be too big of an issue right now. To counter this a little I turned on the autopot air domes. Hoping that the extra oxygen will do them well since the warm water is likely low in DO. This week the light was lowered to 45cm above canopy. Reading back through old grows it appears between 37.5-45.5 is the sweet spot for this light. I also started checking the pH and the ppm's of each tray and noticed that the pH rises slightly from tank to tray. Tank is at 5.5 and trays are 5.8-6. Something to keep an eye on later. Tonight I will clean the tank with soap, peroxide and water and plan to snag some hydroguard this week at the store. I added Bud explosion to the nute recipe this week and will begin to decrease Part B Nutrients slowly over the course of the next two weeks. They are still a little shorter than I would like, but the good news is there is literally no more room to scrog so its all vertical growth from here on out. Hoping that they have a good stretch this week. if they could be between 65-70 cm by the end of flower week two I would be very pleased. All other conditions in the tent have been great.

Day 16: What a good week for these girls. They initially looked like slow starters but soon have picked their pace up and now appear the biggest group of the strains growing as a whole. They are nice and green looking throughout and it looks like the LOS may be the leader so far. I am stoked with the strains I have running now and their speed is phenomenal.
