~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/24- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is now going into Week Seven from seed and is going strong! She has definitely increased her height and continues to sprout new growth! Her color and vigor also remain excellent having gotten past her early episode of getting her leaves chewed on. Today I top dressed the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4 along with 1 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 and 1/2g of Wiggle Worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 3g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. 6/26- Our summer is here and we're under an early heat wave this week with daytime temp's hitting the mid to upper 90's ℉ with heat indexes in the low 100's ℉... in short, IT'S FNG HOT!🔥🔥🔥 I'm watering the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo daily now with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose. I'm watering at sundown so that the water will have some time to soak down into the soil before the heat evaporates it. The coating of straw that I previously spread over the soil around her base has helped a lot as well. 6/28- Our weather is HOT now with heat indexes over 100℉ so I'm watering the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod every day with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade. Other than the ever present leaf hoppers, which love the leaves but leave the flowers alone, and an occasional Japanese Beetle, there aren't any serious pest issues currently. The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod continues to have excellent color and vigor, continuing to add new growth and increase her height, it seems daily! 6/30- The weather continues to relentlessly bake everything outside... Welcome to week 8 of flower!! Things are really starting to get heavy and loaded in frost! I will be checking the trichomes this week to see what plants are nearing the end and which ones will still need a bit more time to mature and finish. To say the least Im very excited to get to the finish line with these ladies! Macmelonz and Banana Smoothie #1 will deff need more time to finish then the rest of the ladies in this room! Day#52F Started removing some leaves from the bottom , I will be looking to continue this until harvest day. Day#53F I knew I should have installed the second net, Some of the flowers are leaning right over now haha. Going to get some stakes to add into the buckets for some support. Day#54F Checked the trichomes looking like 6 of the 8 plants will be starting their flush while Macmelonz and Banana Smoothie #1 will continue to feed for a bit longer before starting to flush. Day#55F Really digging trichome production on Creamy Cereal #2 , she's got a wild Lucky Charms aroma to her that's quite unique.

4 September 2022 Flowering: 42 days - 6 weeks Tip of foliage showing sign of maybe pH imbalance or too much fertilizer? Did a small water flush. The run off water was very acidic, added water until run off was 6 pH Maybe time for water only now 10-15 more days till harvest??

// Day 91 She is getting there. The buds ware not fattening up as much as I wanted to but her trichomes are almost all cloudy and a very low minority is amber. So I guess I give her 2-3 more days and cut her down on friday or saturday. This time I try out the bro science: Befor cutting, I'll let her stay in the dark for 48h. So maybe I turn off the lights tomorrow until friday and chop her down. The bro science hypothesis is that the not ending darkness will give her a last stress which boosts trichome production.

25.9. Vor ein Paar Tagen hat die Pflanze trotz Dünger begonnen, Farbe zu verlieren. Das bedeutet für mich das wir aufs Ende zugehen. Seit drei Tagen bekommt sie nur Wasser, doch die Verfärbungen sind schon klar zu sehen. Die Stempel bewegen sich in die richtige Richtung, was deren Farbe betrifft. Da der Indica Anteil hier scheinbar höher ist, gehe ich von maximal 9 Wochen Blüte aus. Das heißt, ab heute zwei Wochen. Update 30.9. Die Blüten gehen von der Form in eine gute Richtung. Die Trichome sind sehr weit. Wird auf jeden Fall ne knusprige Angelegenheit. Mein goldenes Stück 💩

9/2/25 Overall I'm delighted with these. 17 weeks grows for me are few & far between. These 2 phenos had 7 weeks in 2L pots. And were put into a 20L pot of coco/pebbles and gives 10-14 days to recover and were flipped. I purposely grew them this shape as I had to make sure I kept them apart if hit with WPM or anything like that. As grows these long, buds this dense. And running a tent with a bunch of mixed grows from done to days into the start of the 12-12 flip. I would have liked to run for another week on a 100w light and high doses of UV but because of such a mixed bag of grows in my tents. Running reds/uv just wasn't even attempted. 10/2 She smells absolutely amazing, buds are super big, sticky & very smelly. They're still mainly hard for the moment. And leaves not even limp. So, I removed the big fan leaves to allow air to move around better. They're hanging behind my 100cm2 tent kept out of UV rays.

End of week 4. So far so good. Plants are healthy, buds are starting. Light and plants are happy together. I haven't had a proper tasting Bubble gum in a while, let's see what theses can do . Thanks everyone

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Nice progress this week, flowers forming nicely. I gave them mills pk and they are looking happy. I took a lot of shade leaves off to let the light through to the lower buds . All good so far ⚡️ I also started giving ultimate pk, they are responding well, I think really good to start seeing aeeing action off the the girls, I've never grown this strain before and she takes ages to get going. I've got a feeling it's going to be worth the wait.

these 2 seeds from the same pack are definitely different: the topped girl is massive, with multiple heads that are only starting to stop growing (i hope she will finally concentrate on her buds!), while the LST girl has a nice structure with 6 buds that are growing day by day. one classic, the other with great potential... i love this session. 😊 miscalculation on my part at the beginning of the week: I doubled all the nutrients, confusing the volume of my cans... 😓 coco is not forgiving, the burns appeared the next day; but fortunately, it is corrected just as quickly: I emptied the bowls and diluted the water in the tank, I performed a haircut on the two girls (one burned, the other a little wilted), and here they are in great shape at the end of the week. The resin appeared on the LST girl this week. another thing: the bleach has already proved its worth; not a single worm in my water, no more smell of algae in the tank, despite a rather sporadic maintenance... 😏

She's putting on some weight now, getting fat and frosty. Her fan leaves are yellowing out, time for a big defoliation and a bit more leaf tucking and give her another lollipop trim of her u der carriage
