This is my first grow I have haze berry critical and northern lights and white widow automatic the baby’s are critical mush and the 2 seedlings are white widow all from RQS can people give me some useful tips and vote for me

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Plants doing good clones have roots but not all guna wait 2 more weeks b4 transferring to new containers …one plant needs more food guna increase ppm

Added 2 videos on preparing a nutrient solution and pH balancing the solution. This week saw aggressive topping (mid week 4) and some serious leaf damage. Not sure if the leaf damage is from the topping, nutrients, etc. I did a flush and solution swap, cleaned the air stone and inside of the jar etc. Built the trellis and started training. I'll cut away whatever trellis doesn't end up getting used once flowering starts. Creepy Don Santa is watching this grow closely. That cat of his is trouble.

They are slowly entering the veggie phase 😍 So far only tap water with root juice. Since today we are in the vegi phase and the fertilization will start next week. Today I would like to tell you something about my new “toy” (Ecowitt GW1200 +WH51). I read something in the forum about a soil moisture sensor that is IoT capable. I was curious and of course had to buy it... 😄 Works really surprisingly well, I tested it beforehand with a small test setup. Up to 8 sensors can be connected to the gateway and theoretically home automation would also be possible. What I particularly like: Battery status display History with graph Freely adjustable alarms Access via internet and browser and of course app Plugs to cover the LEDs This is not intended as advertising, but I thought I'd explain in detail before people ask what these parts are

This week has been great, I keep thinking I’m gonna over fees her but everything I give her she eats up and seems to want more.

Not seen as much bud development as I thought I would have upto now. Trichomes on #3 is amazing way more than #2. As mentioned in previous weeks comments this week is a big week. As you may have seen I have been using the TS1000 for veg and flower upto now. I now have a FC-E4800 from Mars hydro. As these plants are in the corner and side of my grow tent they will be getting a lot more light than the ts1000 was able to offer. Exited for future runs with this light!

Installed my new CO2 generator yesterday, closed loop system so won't attract bugs like the other. Also have an exhale bag hanging up top of tent. After talking to a few of you guys decided to drop light down to 18-19in @ 80% So getting ready to wrap up week 6, may be one more update before we move on. Plant 1 (Left from front view of tent) Seem to be doing great, had to flush and adjust feed was getting minor def's. Soil seems a bit of a mess when I flushed, most likely from me feeding way to early and too much. So I kind of expected that, so it backs up the hypothesis that I actually know whats goning on for the most part . lol. I stabilized it. Plant 2 (Right from front view of tent) Stopped LST on this one last week, I overfed it way to early, and probably got too much light early on too so its lagging behind a little, but hanging on. Picked up some nute burn, flushed out and stabilized everything and adjusted feed sched. Seems to be hanging on strong though just a smaller slower guy. Overall nothing drastic, except MORE FLOWERS!!!, which is good. Thanks to a few of you guys I know understand monitoring EC and PH much more indepth and will continue to monitor throughout and from now on. I didn't want to take on too much learning and get overwhelmed. Figured I would do it when I had to and had an issue. Well I did, and now understand. So that should be a great help moving forward. Shout out to @Creepy_Steve @HappyWeeds specifically, but literally everyone I have spoken to here has been great, and more helpful than you can hope for. I have learned so much in so little time. Thank you again SunWest Genetics for standing by your word on the seeds! I am following their recommended germination requirements to the letter. From the pictures the 2 seeds with the small tap roots are still on the plate, in a paper towel, in a dark place. I am hoping they make some progress today so that I can get them into their containers!!! My goal is to have 4 active sprouts in the new 5x5 tent, in a ScroG setup. So far only 1 has sprouted. I am finding the sprouting part the most difficult aspect of growing these wonderful plants. I still have 4 seeds in reserve and if the 2 don't continue germination and the other one doesn't sprout up through the flake of rockwool I have over the seed head, I'll get the other 4 into water.

Slowly but surely, it's growing all right. The plants are keeping low and bushy. I have three plants, each with 3 different heights. One normal, one growing sideways and one that's kind of a dwarf. Only 3 months to go!

Heading into the third week of flower. Everything has gone well so far. I have an average of 15" growth above the screen. Raised the tent 15" to the tops of the rdwc buckets.
