gr3g4l The seeds take about 5-6 days to move to the substrate. First, I keep them in a glass with distilled water + a few drops of hydrogen peroxide for 2 or 3 days. gr3g4l I keep spraying a couple or three times a day with distilled water and watering by eye the ones I see dry every two days or so. They’re not exact sciences, and some demand more or less depending on phenotype, the spot they’re in the cabinet, the previous watering in case it was excessive or insufficient, etc. The idea is to water when I see they need it. Water and let dry.
Midweek, I switched them to 5.5L textile pots and moved them under the COBs, 4 cri97 4000K and 5 cri97 2700K, about 250W.
Right now, I’m increasing the watering to 500ml per plant every two days or so, depending.
Double-layer DM cabinet with insulation, and the dimensions would be 76x76x180. The cabinet is outside the house, so I have to fight against the weather by adding a couple or three 80W heaters. In very cold moments, I increase the extraction flow and fan time when it’s really hot. The heaters have a graduated temperature sensor to keep the substrate at about 20-22ºC. This week I’m starting to water with tap water, with a base of about 0.4 and a pH of 6.5.

As for the cultivation. A second foliar application with Spider boom 3ml/l to prevent possible spider mite infestations. Even with outside temperatures at 0ºC, it's doing quite well inside. 😋
At first glance, I would say this light fixture seems to be one of the best I've ever had, it distributes light like no other, penetrating much better. Another thing is the convenience of adjusting the power up or down and the possibility of adding a controller that monitors the temperature of the grow room, the photoperiod, and the intensity, as well as power dimming.
This week, tired of constantly adjusting the extractor's power throughout the year, I've decided to try an SMSCom Smart Controller. This way, I hope not to suffer so much from temperature spikes or drops. Many times, it's when I neglect the interior for one reason or another, and coincidentally, those are the days when the weather changes suddenly.
A first foliar application with Delta9 to strengthen them for what's coming.

gr3g4l We started the week by changing the nutrients as I noticed some small pistils or stigmas; in short, they started to timidly show their sex. I’m starting with a low dose and will gradually increase it to 4ml/L until I change the nutrients again.
I think I observe that the Lumatek ATSpro is missing a point of light in the center of the panel. Generally, with other lights, the middle plant used to grow much better, and this time it’s lagging behind. I’ll keep growing, and if it keeps happening, then I won’t have any doubts; for now, it’s just conjecture, lol.
Regarding the previous comment, I have to say that after two days, I’m seeing it differently; the middle one seems to be on the right track now, I can barely notice the difference.
Last week, the sixth week, they received a second spraying with a high dose of 3ml/L of spiderbloom (“very fast-acting plant fortifier”), but it didn’t help at all. During this week, the temperature rose to 30ºC for a couple of days, and the spider mites came out to have a big feast.
Once I confirmed the presence of red spider mites running around on the underside of the leaves, I just need to disinfect the cabinet well, wash all the plants one by one with running water to remove as many little spiders as possible, and once dry, treat them with some chemical acaricide. If I don’t do it now, it will be impossible later, and I really don’t want to let this crop go to waste. I’m not a fan of chemicals, but I’m even less of a fan of losing them.

gr3g4l 15 days at 12/12h. We started the week showing clear signs of flowering.
As for the red spider mites, I didn't see a single one on a couple of leaflets or leaves I was looking at, but I did notice that there were eggs or larvae stuck to the veins of the leaflet. This week I'll spray again, and this time I'm changing the product. I've used the same thing in several grows, and it's very possible that it doesn't even tickle the spiders, due to immunity.
A small trim of the second nodes, and later on a final one for the lower branches and suckers, so I can leave them alone for the rest of the grow.
As can be seen, this week they've stretched nicely again. I understand that with 9 in such a small space, they're all competing for light and growing like crazy. From this, I can only hope for some beautiful rockets. By the end of the week, the tallest ones would be at 80 cm and the smallest at 65 cm.

gr3g4l I couldn't help but do a new low pruning, third and fourth node on all of them.
I'm still battling against the red spider :-( There's no way to get rid of it 100%, and when the temperatures go up a bit, they come back. It might have also helped because I programmed the fan timer wrong a couple of days ago, and it was off at night, coinciding for a few hours while the ATS was still on. During those hours, the temperature must have risen to 29-30°C.
I applied another treatment with Solabiol for the second time, from above and on the underside of the leaves, all well soaked.
As you can see in some photos from the follow-up, in week 7 for example, I used to have a wooden board with many holes to help the heat from the heaters rise, but I wasn't sure about it being wood; I fear that being wood made it harder to disinfect the cabinet well, so I opted to put in some metal riser supports with their little holes.
I think I'm starting to fall in love with the ATSPro; I should wait until flowering is over to not jinx it, but from what I'm seeing, it's winning me over a lot. I had been growing with COBs for a while, previously with LEC, and before that with HPS, and this is by far the most comfortable and best at distributing light, and from what I'm observing, it has better or greater light penetration. I think this lighting will allow the buds to start from lower down. Knock on wood.
This week I started with Delta 9 in the watering; the previous times had been foliar.
At the end of the week, I think we can already confirm which variety is more vigorous and which phenotype is more dominant in the indica. As can be seen, the Animal Cookies are winning in height with a greater internodal distance. The OG Kush, on the other hand, are shorter with a smaller internodal distance.
Regarding the height of the plants, the OGK would be around 70 cm, and the tallest, which would be the Animal C, about 90 cm approx.

gr3g4l As a general rule, I don't prune leaves, but this time I'm going to make an exception and remove the ones that cast the most shade, the big ones, at 30 days into 12/12h. After 7 days from their last lower pruning, third and fourth nodes. Then I will only have to keep removing some buds from the lower nodes.
They seem to have stabilized and are not growing at the same rate as they did in the first 30 days at 12/12h.. At the beginning of the week, the smallest one, the OGKush nºI, was about 70 cm and the tallest, the AnimalCokes nºVII, was 100 cm.
After 6 days from the last treatment against spider mites, I treated them again, this time with Plant Vitality Plus from Bac. So far, a wash with tap water, one with Mactina (chemical), two with Solabiol, and a fourth with the Vitality.
I've been seeing burnt tips for two weeks, and I'm noticing that it's increasing, possibly due to nutrient excess, also largely because the base water comes out at 0.85 EC and 8.02 pH, which are very high values.
I'll try to correct it now with a couple of water-only irrigations and switch to Top Candy next week while keeping low doses. It's especially noticeable in the OGKUSH, the smallest ones.
It's clear that watering them every other day with TopBloom at 1.8 EC was too much. Now I'm knocking on wood that it doesn't affect the rest too much, and they are already showing signs of being affected.

gr3g4l Since the base water comes out with very high values, I've decided to mix the irrigation water with distilled water half and half. This way, I can provide a greater amount of nutrients without the values rising excessively. On the other hand, I will also add citric acid to lower the pH.
I'm showing you how I water, it's a little gadget I made years ago and it keeps working well. It distributes the water nicely and slows down the irrigation, allowing the water to filter better through the substrate. The funnel has a mesh where the larger residues get stuck, so the holes don’t clog. Some might say that it loses water, but that's not the case; the water that spills out is because I wasn't precise when filling the funnel and almost spilled it all. You can't do three things at once; I'm a man, hehehe. I couldn't fill the funnel, water, and film with my phone at the same time. Plus, the video is sped up, so it looks like it's losing water even faster.

gr3g4l Although they stopped growing like crazy as they did in pre-flower, the first 25-30 days at 12/12h, they have continued to grow until now, and this week I had to prop them all up so they would be at the same height.
This week is packed with nutrients, with three waterings, two or three days apart, depending on what I see or think they need.
I will continue watering half and half, tap water / distilled. The first watering of the week is 3 ml/L of top Candy and a little bit of citric acid to lower the pH. EC 1.03, pH 7.00
The second watering with Bud and Bloom, 1.5 ml/L and 3 ml/L respectively, plus citric acid to lower pH. EC 1.30, pH 6.9
The third with Delta9 and calMag, 4 ml/L and 0.5 ml/L respectively, plus citric acid to lower pH.
Last pruning of fan leaves, 2 or 4 of each and pruning of buds so they don't compete with the apical ones that receive light. I also had to secure the trunks better with gardening wire so they don't bend from the weight and lose some energy here.
I'm not sure if I was able to reduce the nutrient excess, so throughout this week and until the end of flowering, I will maintain a low EC by mixing half tap water and half distilled, and that way I can keep that EC.
Watering during growth and the beginning of flowering with such hard and alkaline water made the plants show the appearance they have.

DRYING. During the first few days, the outdoor temperatures were still cool, and the drying was done with an 80W heater, dehumidifier, and fan to keep the air circulating, for about a week. Then everything was removed, and it was left without anything to continue drying slowly inside the drying cabinet.
After 21 days of drying, the plants were already nice and dry and crispy, maybe too much. I put them in there and later, without rushing, into airtight jars to cure them and make them even more delicious.

Earthy notes and aromas, coffee, and citrus.
Easy to grow.
gr3g4l Being the variety with the highest sativa predominance of the three, these were harvested a bit early and most of the trichomes were all crystalline, there were just a few milky or amber ones and many purple ones lol.
However, after a few days, it smells good, tastes good, and has a nice effect. I wouldn't know how to describe the flavor, but it leans towards Kush.
Easy to grow and as could be seen, it can produce some nice buds.
The branches you got are really nice, I was looking for a reference for the Animal Cookies, I'm planting the same ones and I was a bit lost on how much yield I can get, congratulations they turned out great!
