MY WEED SMELLS LIKE WEED. Filling the room, creeping through the apt, what a glorious time. No major smell worries where I am so I'm just enjoying the atmosphere. 😍 On to Backbuilding/Bud Tipping. (Shoot me any advice on this down below!) I experimented back mid-week with 3 tipped buds that had similar control buds side-by-side. After 4 days there is a noticeable difference in density and bud structure in the 3 tipped buds compared to the very fluffy and softer buds next to them. No overall size difference but the tipped buds are rock hard and filling in gaps down the cola compared to the untipped buds. A light squeeze on both a tipped bud and untipped will tell you the difference right there. Happy with the results after seeing them for myself and lucky enough to find this technique at the end of week 4, I tipped majority of the main colas on Danny and some larger buds on Arnold today. Which means I also get what OG growers call a "First Taste" once my tips dry out and cure for a few days. 😛 Other than tipping, I've just had to keep up with Arnold's feedings since lower leaves are still fading if I skip mineral nute feedings. Looks like they will be getting only PH Perfect and/or Molasses feedings until the final flush since they can't get enough food in the ProMix medium. I've still had constant defoliation during to avoid leaf overlap and light blockage. Since I'm now entering week 5 of flower I'll have to get it where I want in the next couple days and go hands off for the last month or so. Thanks for checking out my grow! Arnold still super hungry so I've upped the nutes a tad and skipped plain water feeding until the flush. Just fed them PH Perfect/Molasses cocktail. Big Arnold on the right is definitely rootbound by how the water is draining so I'm looking at a lower yield from the right plant. I get run off from small Danny during a regular feed but takes a lot more to get any from Arnold and I don't want to overwater in this random heat/humidity wave. The Backbuilding/BudTipping is working like a charm. The tipped buds are filling down and way more dense than the untipped. Popped the SoundLink in the tent today to give the twins some music while I go about my business. After 4 days of heavy rain, the first mold appeared... So I spent about 18 hours searching for plants and picking out mold with tweezers After last year's experience with another seed bank, I expected the plants to be very affected by mold, but I have to say that Fast Buds genetics coped very well! Mold appear mainly on blisters to which the stem of the leaf leads water, which then collects between the stem and the blister I trimmed the plants more so that the air flows better and that water does not stick to them The plants look healthy and the flowers are gaining strength I really like the genetic stability of Gorilla Zkitllez, almost all the plants look exactly the same and are in the same flowering phase. Some plants are absolutely gigantic! if I didn't do LST, I guess the plants would be as big as me. however, what surprises me is that they are slower than Gorilla Strawberry, I think that some Gorilla Zkytllez will be after 12-13 weeks From the start Gorilla Zkytllez smelled strongly like diesel but now a very strong pleasant sweet smell exactly like Zkytllez candies I haven't seen my children for 3 days, it's raining extremely ... the last time I was chased out by swarms of ants in the early evening, I've never experienced this before, there were maybe a million of them and they sat on me and on the plants I'm finally going to visit them tomorrow, I expect I'll have a lot of work to do with mold and I hope the swarms of ants haven't harmed them in any way

It's been hot and humid all week, so I had to open tent and run big fan to keep temp from going passed 83. Also used only water a few times to try to get some nitrogen out of system it is a bit to green. Hopefully stretching is complete up to 34 inches now from just 12 inches right before flip so this is nearly triple in size. Continued trimming fan leaves on lower 3/4 left as many as I could that were not blocking light which is always so few. Altogether going well.

1/14: This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. An exciting week here training this girl. Was spacing her out throughout the week using the low stress ties. You can see all of them pulling her out. Idk what to do with the middle ones. I've tried those before but they kinda stunt for me. Watering every other day right now. And I know, I've gotta defoliate her. I'll do that when I lollipop mid week. Having said that, there won't be much this run as I trained while in flower. Tropicana flowers 🌞☀️🌤️🌦️🌧️ Plant is 15 cm high because of low stress training. The length is 31 cm. Day 36: Sun is shining, 15-23 degrees, high humidity. Tropicana gets two liters of pure rainwater. Spend the day in my veggie garden working. In the evening I brought some 🐞for Tropicana because I spottet a few lice. My mood changes drastically as I find spider mites eggs, first and second stadium. Don‘t overthink that and decide to defoliate the plant immediately. I prepare a tee out of the leaves which brings fast relaxation. My mood is much better now. Day 37 In the morning with better light I find more spider mites and decide to wash the plant with rainwater. Can‘t find after any more of these little killer dwarfs. I decide to bring more beetles and check the leafs more often. Temperature is felling under 20 degrees, it‘s raining and the humidity is 87%. Day 38 In the early morning I couldn‘t find any mites on Tropicana. Got to continue controlling this in the next weeks regular. I‘m sure they are still there somewhere hidden in a dark spot. 🌦️ 13 - 21 degrees and humidity is around 60-70%. Day 39 🌦️🌧️ Very rainy day. Just let Tropicana enjoy life and tie down the top one more time. 🐞 stay since some days. One on every plant. I think the mites are a result of their start inside and no hygiene at all. Have the same with my peppers some years. 14 - 21 degrees, humidity around 84% Day 40 🌧️☁️🌤️☀️15 degrees, humidity 83% We listen to Roots Reggae, Tropicana is happy and quite busy with producing new roots, I guess. Don‘t understand when to stop low stress training. I think it’s enough now. She needs a rest. Day 41 🌧️⛈️🌧️🌧️ 15 - 19 degrees, humidity up to 89% We had rainfall today around 65 liters of water. I collected enough of it for the next weeks. Day 42 ☀️ 6 - 23 degrees. Humidity is falling. Tropicana enjoys the morning sun while she drinks and drinks and drinks…. Coffee. 😅

I finally found the spray on the leaves according to my ideas! 1. Produces mist with fine droplets 2. works in 360 ° position ... 3. After pressing, it sprays for another 3 seconds. I have not found it in any gardening or growshops ... You can find these spray bottles in a hairdressing shop. Price $ 12, volume 350m!

Day 32 ...This girl was too big for her 3gal container so I bought 40 Litre rubber totes to use! Drilled holes around the container and tied a ton of branches to the sides of the container with pipe cleaners. Plant was about 3 inches tall tied down and a 16 inch canopy. Follow as I veg this beast for another 30 days!

Plants are looking great. Have really filled in nice. Can already tell they are going to stack the bid on. Gave them a good lower trim a few days ago. I got a new bigger tent and was going to move them but decided to just finish them out in the old one. Really excited see What the next few weeks bring. I’ll update soon. As always 🍻

Day 28 - Got other nutrients today. Will be using them for the rest of the grow. Plant keeps doing well in development, although the rust spots have progressed a little more. With the nutrients I'm hoping this will stop now (CaMg-Boost). Controlled also the EC and PH values of the run-off. EC Runoff @ 1.9 (little high), PH Runoff @ 6.25 (little low). The side nodes have grown a LOT. They were sturdy enough to where it seemed a good idea to do some more LST. Day 30 - Watered again, soil was dry even past my knuckle and could see that on the bottom it was dry as well (container is clear on the bottom). Only used a bit of Alga-C and Flower-C because it looks like there might be some nutrient burn on the tips of two leaves (see photo). Otherwise the flowers are continuing to develop well. Day 31 - Starting to see the beginnings of a clear color change 😍

Gary Payton from Taste Budz Genetics is a real standout in my garden. The buds are huge and dense, with a beautiful neon green color that practically glows. The structure is amazing, and the skunky smell is so strong and pungent – it fills the whole room! This strain is definitely a heavy hitter, and I can't wait to see how it turns out. If you're looking for something potent and flavorful, Gary Payton is definitely one to try. I recently upgraded to the GrowPro Solutions Under Canopy lights, and wow, what a difference! The colors on my plants are seriously popping – they look so vibrant. Plus, I think it really helped them finish strong. She’s reacting very well to the training, so I keep pushing her. In the meantime, she’s getting really thirsty, which is a good sign the roots are on track. As I want to stretch the vegetation, I removed a few selected nodes to promote more main bud development.
