This was a good grow couple of ups and downs weather wise and the moment of devastation when seeing my fattest cola had been affected by bud rot this was a solid happy nug yesterday and today well thenpics tell a tale all other buds were fine and are drying as we speak ye win some ye lose some some are just fkin annoying

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm! She is looking really good this week. She did start to show some deficiencies after flushing Friday 8/28. Otherwise she looks super healthy with leaves "praying" to the canna-gods! Now, on with the deets! LIGHTING: Increased lighting at dimmer last week with good results. Was about 70k LUX on average @ Canopy. Turning it up a bit more this week. 8 Outer Boards @ 665.5w 6 Inner Boards @ 601w LUX APP MAXES OUT READING 78750 LUX @ Canopy. Lets hope its not too much! RHIZOSPHERE: If you didn't tune into the last update, I had just flushed pots due to high PPM runoff. pH of runoff was at 6.3. PPM and pH are tested using 2 separate calibrated BlueLab meters. Forgot to water these ladies for a couple of days but after a heavy watering and a good feeding they perked right back up. I have 2 flower tents running with sunset sherbet right now. Regardless of wether I think they are ready or not I will be switching them to flower in 3 more weeks. Can’t wait to see how these ladies flower!

Update February 4, 2019 (Video and Pics actually taken Feb 1). So I have harvested the 3rd FastBuds BlackBerry as well as the Barney’s Farm NYC Diesel Auto. The Blackberry was very loose and airy with not much density to the buds. Made it difficult to trim without just putting 90% in the trim pile. I had a taste of one of the buds from Blackberry #2 and she was much fruitier/sweeter than this one is. I can still taste some sweetness in #3, but she also tastes bit more harsh than I remember from #2. I yielded 16 gr from the 3rd plant and never weighed the first two, they just went straight to my edibles pile, but I’ll guess they may have yielded another 16 gr combined, which would total 32 gr for 3 plants. The Barney’s Farm NYC Diesel turned out pretty nice. Got some pretty nice and solid buds from her. She definitely tastes and hits like Diesel. I’m very happy with this girl. She only yielded 18 gr dried, but I didn’t really do any training with her at all. And she survived through all of my soil and ph issues like a champ! Back to the living…. So, I’m figuring I’m about mid-way into flower now with the 6 girls I have flowering. Overall, I’m very happy with how things are going. The buds are coming in strong on all plants, they are stinky and sticky and I’m not complaining about anything really. But, I still see more yellow than I like. Last week I fed Recharge, Mammoth P, MegaCrop, and CalMag+. I don’t feed all of those at once, Recharge & Mammoth P one time, MegaCrop & CalMag+ the next, then the 3rd is usually straight water. I also seem to be able to go at least a day between waterings/feedings. Anyway, yellowing leaves during flower seems to be most common with a Nitrogen deficiency as far as I can tell. I’m tempted to feed in a round or two of veg nutes to see how that goes. One more thing… I transplanted my clones and seedlings into larger nursery pots today. They were transplanted into pots with soil that has been composting/recharging for almost a month now based on some of the tips from the books I have been reading. I’m excited to see how they react to their new environment.

Week 3 of Flower we focus on Defoilation. This really is going to test the genetics response to extreme stress. Performed a 5 day Schwazze to minimize stress instead of ripping off most leave in one day. Plant seem to have reacted well so far. This should be some epic smoke as her buds are absolutely crystalized with trichomes and her smell is AMAZING! 😛💚 9/10- Well she's been in the dark for 24hrs. now with 24 more to go. I'm keeping temperatures in the low to mid 60's℉ and the RH @ 45%. Tomorrow is 'Chop Day'! I'll be taking some pic's of her when she comes out of the dark and during harvest...Stay tuned, this is some 🔥! I am continuing to water while she's in the dark with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 @67℉ to keep her hydrated. 9/12- Well she's out of the dark where she spent roughly 60 hours. I kept the temp's @ 64℉ and the RH at 45%. After I brought her out I shot a few pictures of her, then plucked off all of the shade leaves. I then cut her off at her base and hung her whole. I'll keep the RH in the room @ 50% for the first 24hrs., then raise it to 55-60% for the remainder of the drying. I have the temperatures in the Dry Room at a constant 65℉ to help preserve the terpenes. Hopefully she'll take 10-12 days to dry to the point that she's ready to be trimmed and jarred! Mega Power plant auto grew great. I ran her a bit long and she foxtailed on me. I was aiming for more of a good night kinda smoke. Hopefully with the relaxing qualities of this strain, plus the extra ripeness I may have a winner. I won't find out likely for about 2 months. Between dry time, and others ahead of her with my schedule I am getting them done as fast as I can. Very frosty flowers. Has a sweet earthy fruity smell. I have a harvest video that would not upload. E aí vamos nós! Quero agradecer a toda a equipe da Fastbuds por me mandar essas seeds. Em meu país é muito difícil encontrar genética boa de verdade, então foi uma benção para mim. Essa Kosher eu resolvi fazer no kokostec e usarei GH com Fórmula de Lucas, knf e micorrizas. Nesse inicinho aplico apenas enzimas e microorganismos benéficos para a raíz. Enfim, acompanhe, e qualquer sugestão ou critica, fala comigo!

Things are looking good. I started counting Day 1 before the dummy leaves even shed the seed, also, I think the 3 gal pots are probably holding back the above ground growth a tad. Been watering about .5 gallons each in a ring just outside the plant every 2-3 days. They look healthy and I'm sure by the end of the week, they'll be screaming along. Not sure if I'm more excited about the ganja or the melons. Lol. Can't wait to enjoy both ☀️🍉💨

Well, this week has been eventful. What started with a fly deciding to lay eggs in my buckets with larvae swimming around and chilling on my roots turned into a bit of a disaster. I used very weak H2O2 (diluted 3% solution). To try and clean infestation, the roots didn’t like it, even though the actual concentration of H2O2 was probs less than 0.25%. Lesson learned 🙃 It has given some of them a touch of root rot (this is an assumption because I can’t figure out what else it could have been). So growth has stunted a lot. Just before the bug problem, I increased EC to 1.1, this was probably another mistake, the smaller girls at the back with a smaller root mass got massive lock out, potassium, mag and calcium by the looks of it, coupled with a few not so well timed PH swings out of the 5.5-6.5 range gave me a lot to combat this week. But, life goes on, they’re still alive (just about)... As this is probably the hardest curve ball I’ve had thrown at me since I started growing canna, I have cut back the EC to 0.56 to allow them to heal. Probably wrongly decided to top them all as they were growing past 7th node, either it’s gonna pay off, or I’ll be posting harvest details of 0g by this time next week 👽 I am on a stay at home holiday from work for the next 3 weeks, so looks like my babies are staying in the ICU and I’ll do my best to bring them back to life 😊
