Well looks like these girls are coming to an end! Around 80-90% of trichomes are cloudy, some sugar leaves are starting to get some ambers as well so I’m going to be semi-flushing with microbes and molasses for the bennies over the next couple weeks until chop! Soon after the first flush, the colors started to pop, especially on the leaves! I have also noticed the smell has really picked up, but it’s almost like a ripe fruit smell. Based on the smell I can tell these girls are getting ready for the end of their life cycle. I’m planning to chop soon after week 9 but I will allow the girls to sit in 24-48hr dark period before I do so.

Did LST and topped Pheno 1 & 2, 3 is too funky to mess with. I think PH was just my issue and possible too high intensity light as I lowered to 60%, but also brought my PH to 6.5 so I'm guessing that helped too.

Tagsüber steigen die Temperaturen auf über 27°C, bei ebenfalls 61 % Luftfeuchtigkeit. Diese Woche haben die Damen zum ersten Mal Green Sensation bekommen, und die Blüten werden immer fülliger und dicker. Wie im Video zu sehen ist, handelt es sich bei den Purple Lemonade um zwei verschiedene Phänotypen: Einer ist für den Cup , hat eine lila Farbe und wächst den Stängel entlang, während der andere grün ist und an der Spitze dicke Buds bildet. Was den Geruch betrifft, sind die beiden auch deutlich unterschiedlich: Die grüne Variante riecht zitroniger, während die Cup-Dame fruchtiger duftet.

Cactus Candy Kush wächst ganz gemütlich vor sich hin. Diese Woche habe ich einige Ladungen in meinem Pyrolyse Ofen verfeuert und dabei Stockbrot gebacken. Ich nutze die Kohle als Zugabe beim Kompostieren. So wird sie über ein Jahr lang zigmal von Würmern zusammen mit dem Kompostmaterial gefressen und wieder ausgeschieden. Dabei reichert sich die Kohle mit Stickstoff, Mikrobiologie und vielen anderen Nährstoffen an. Der reife Kohle-Kompost hat eine besondere Fähigkeit die Pflanze mit gespeichertem Wasser und allen Nährstoffen zu versorgen, die sie während des Wachstums und der Blüte benötigt.

This tent is just crushing it this week! Everyone and their mother is covered in trichome-y goodness. These ladies definitely have that cookie-esk smell going on for them!

Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying. I'm honestly out of options with these 2 because it's waaayy to hot in that garage I have no where to vent out the hot air from the box I'm gunna have to just out these outside soon its just getting to be way to much time spent and energy if anyone can help lmk thanks again! Now all germinate and i really happy about that. They get their daily bath on the balcony if possible!

The roots are still looking great. I cleared the old water out and only put 2 gallons in and not the 4.5 I was putting in previous weeks. Starting to get a weak smell from the plant.

End of week 8 for medusa 1/5. Plant is looking beautiful with the LST. I will reduce thd nutrients week by week from now, ensuring for a clean finish without flushing. I still feel the veg time for these genetics are too short for big yields. I reckon it will yield around 60 grams. 2/5 was topped and will yield more by the looks of the amount of shoots compared to 1/5. Check my other diaries for the entire experiment. Watering 3L every 2/3 days Smell is very strong now. It will probably be ready in 3 weeks time
