Day 56: Nothing special this week other then I found out another reason for the stretching of the plants. They did not stretch that much as the Gorilla's but they still did some. I don't know where i was of what i was doing but suddenly it came into my mind. Well normaly i use seperate veg and flower basic nutrients. This time, I used a new basic nutrient i never used before. This basic nutrient has veg and flower nutrients for the whole cycle. So the growth of the plants where stimulated to longer. This is fun when you grow huge plants for a long time, not if you plan to only veg for 3-4 weeks, 1-2 weeks preflower with maybe 6 to 9 weeks of flowering.

After the solution change the spotting slowed and stopped. She has a bunch odmf new roots leaving the basket. She is most likely stunned from that. But I will let her go, and see what she does. She looks overall a lot healthier. Week is going great. Buds are starting to thicken up and trichomes are starting to form. This is the thirstiest plant i have had, probably partly due to the high day time temperature, but it looks to be just a minor problem. Can start to see that the yeald will be higher than i expected just by looking at the buds.

Day 31 - 38 (Day 32) I’m going to lower the humidity in the room to 55-60. Still no bananas but I’m still quite worried about #3 fully popping and ruining my whole crop. Since there is a good chance it’s going to herm, I’m going to give it with a small feeding today and watch it like a hawk this week. I think the boost actually made a decent difference in #5 from last week. I’m seeing slightly fatter main colas but that could just be from less topping/smaller plant or less nitrogen. I’ve decided to push my luck and give a boost to each plant. These things just aren’t filling out like they should. They look like they are on day 23 not 33. I’m going to top dress 3 tablespoons of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and later tonight I’m going to water in a low strength feeding of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m going to give a final heaping tablespoon of nature’s pride bloom to #5 so it can stretch to the end. I’m also going to lower the lights by a few inches. The tallest cola is now about 13 inches away and the rest of the canopy is at about 18–24. If I see signs of light stress I’ll raise it back up but I’m sure it could use the extra light on the lowers. (Day 33) I’ve been reading that bigger plants just take longer to mature and that’s probably why my plant hasn’t fully filled out or is about a week behind. I still could have done a better job defoliating some of the smaller larf branches on the bottom which just robs the good branches of energy. The more I think about it, the more I think I did a very poor job of defoliating the middle canopy. I’m still seeing lots of larf and small buds on the inside not getting much light. I’m still really worried about herms after finding that branch so I don’t want to stress them anymore. Removing suckers now is pointless. I missed my window of opportunity and now I have to deal with it. I’m going to slide an old DVD player underneath #6 to bring it up to canopy level. It’s lower buds are definitely not getting enough light. (Day 34) Ever since lowering the light, the canopy has gotten a few degrees warmer. I’ve noticed the buds don’t feel as sticky on top compared to the lower tucked branches that feel almost wet with resin. Outdoor weed grown in my climate will never reach the temperature where it degrades resin luckily. (Day 36) The buds are definitely swelling but not to the degree I want. Call me picky but I prefer my nugs as chunky as possible. I’m seeing lots of pistils but not much nug matter. Ive heard too many pistils can be caused by the overuse of alfalfa, kelp and seaweed extracts because of the natural PGR’s in them. I’m definitely going to reduce the amount of that stuff I use next round. I hope I’m just wrong and this tent is going to really fatten up this week but I have my doubts. (Day 37) A purple fade is starting on the underside of every plant except the bush who still is super dark green still. Last watering I got a nice amount of runoff so I’m just going to leave her until the end. I’m seeing a bit of yellowing on #5. I’m going to give it one final full strength feeding plus some rock dust and oyster shell tomorrow and that’s a wrap for nutrients. I might as well hit everything else with a final low strength 0-0-15 too. (Day 38) I’m amazed at how much this stuff smells compared to my last round. It smells very earthy and floral with a hint of pine. Definitely not that gassy smelling pine but more of a sweet pine.

Believe or not, this baby just started flowering, I think my decision to defoliate will bare results, like how lamb’s breath turns out. She’s the last to flower but she’s one of the first plants I planted, it took longer than I expected to start flowering,

4/15/25 This plant is blowing my freaking mind. Long stacked colas. Even the lower buds are plumping up like golf balls. This is an exceptional plant so far. Shes starting to show the classic "sherbert" purple that ive noticed shows up with anything that has sunset sherbert in the lineage. Some of the leaves are starting to fade slightly and the purple is coming in. The rs11 that this seed came from, produced the most from a single plant out of all plants ive grown and trained and kept that small. She yielded 3.5 ounces or a 1/4lb of top nugs from a plant that was only about 18 inches tall and vegged for 6 weeks before flip. Once i start to clear out all of the fan leaves later on in flower, its just going to be buds running the length of the stems 4/18/25 I really believe this may be a keeper. She is absolutely stunning. Just everything is perfect. She has super long stacking of buds up and down the stems. Im actually super stoked to see how she finishes up. One of the craziest parts is that shes in a plastic 2 or 3 gallon pot and this plant is going to yield insane.

Day 58 - I started seeing these yellow/brow spots, maybe its a calcium deficiency? I have been giving her calcium so it could be a ph problem. I´m also worried because my neighbor tree has leaf septoria so it could be it aswell, i will keeping a real close eye. Last night rained heavily, so today i sprayed her again w/ Botryprot. Humidity here is really high, i think it´s already helping! Next 3 days will continue raining. When raining stops, i´ll spray when possible. Day 61 - Today i fed her the above chart. We are in week 3, so i cut Fish-mix as she´s focusing on her flowers now. The deficiency stopped developing so im happy, but im always seeing crickets on my plant. I remove all of them by hand, regardless every time i get back i see 3 at least. They are loving the blueberry. Forgot to mention i added acti-vera this time, to help stalks get stronger and healthier. Let´s see how she reacts to it, when she was young she didn´t enjoyed acti-vera Day 64 - These last days have been very hot, with a maximum of 30ºC. Will feed her tomorrow at the beginning of week 4. Will keep same feeding, she didn´t complaint about acti-vera now. :)

Week 5 started July 24, 2022 Growth is still strong into week five, I see no pre flowering, I think that is because she started really slowly due to me getting used to this new light, etc. July 27, 2022 Smells like lime sherbet up in here. LST, light defoliation to get some light on the lower colas. Really watered in today for the first time soaking the media, she is stretching and I see maybe some hairs for pre-flower - hope not too too soon though, I'd like more height than nine inches before she fully stretched

Hey hey everybody! We are back here this week at the beginning of week 13 and it is almost that time… time to flip? ….I wish…. No, no…. I am trying to be good but I think I came up with a plan that will give me a rough idea of when I will see that light at the end of the tunnel- or we’ll at least flip that light to 12/12 haha- No no it is almost Christmas and things have been crazy over here. With the holiday madness upon us, I can’t tell all of you how much I have appreciated the relative silence (you know how it is, there are multiple fans running) time seems to slow down and it just us and the plants. Quite enjoyable. So as you already know, we are going to be on coast until we fill out the rest of that 3x3 scrog net- however just today on my way into work, I came up with what might be my new definitive plan… I have had a bit of trouble waiting, no doubt it will be worth the wait, but the wait has been difficult none the less… so here it is.. Here’s what I’m thinking- I have this going and I also have some fastbuds growing in the same area. What I am most likely going to do- is wait until it’s time for the fastbuds to come down to open up some space in the 5x5 and the rock candy cake can have all that space to herself- I will shift the scrog into the center of the tent and then flip the light schedule to 12/12 and let it run wild- it’s at this point I will most likely employ a more hands off approach so it can focus all of its energy on producing buds worthy of such a wait. The canopy is getting pretty lush and I really need to get in there and defoliate- I really lucked out, today was the last day I had to work until after Christmas so you KNOW I will be in there tomorrow plucking away at leaves (strategically of course) half kidding I’m probably still a whirlwind compared to some, but I’ve noticed- especially when it comes to autos, that my leaf selection has become much more refined when defoliating. PROBABLY gonna see a BIT less of that tomorrow as I have to open up the canopy but I still plan on being careful. Something else that was super cool who may not be following along with the other journal, happened oddly enough just the other day when I was doing dishes- I was scrubbing away with my phone all propped up so I could watch/listen to dude grows. And I heard the dude mention a contest on their website that I had entered… of course my ears perked up, I leaned in a little closer to take a look and was thinking to myself how cool it would be, even to see my picture in the background and sure enough there it was and they brought it up and commented on the submission and seemed to be genuinely enthused by it and let me tell you I am STILL riding high off that one! One thing that was cool too was a rep at a nutrient company had seen that and congratulated me as well and it was again just so cool and I’m honored to have been on there! I listen to them practically everyday at work- yeah words are not doing it justice right now but I was stoked!!! Other than that, the holidays are practically upon us so I’d imagine it’ll be a whole lot of family activity with a side of unintentional neglect that I plan on keeping to an absolute minimum because we are right around the corner from some excitement in that tent- that thing is going to be HUGE! So we have that to look forward to! *Sorry for the shitty pics and video... my iPhone camera will not stop glitching and is having trouble focusing. Flushed about 4.5 liters of R/O water with 100ppm of Cal/Mag as a buffer to keep PH stable at 6.0 in my res. About 3 days later flushed again with 2 liters and continuing to repeat as medium drys out every other day. Plants are almost all faded to a nice purple. Trichomes are cloudy and will be chopping a couple of days into week 9. Smell is amazing as usual - pungent fruit punch gas. Looking forward to turning this room around and repeating. Start of week 2 flowering. This girl is hungrier than her round 1 sister. Probably because of the extra veg time, she has developed more root and plant mass that needs more nutrients. The plant itself is growing nicely, stretching and getting busier.
